Well gee, Leslie, if you feel like that maybe you also should stop taking her A/V hookups because she either learned those skills from her parents who are, of course, the heads of Ruttech or from classes and education her parents are paying for. Why let Carla help you at all? If those skills are fair game, so should her personal cash (though I. get it more if Leslie's thinking in terms of it not being legally Carla's yet in terms of the trust)

This sucks. Leslie is the only teacher we see that really seems to care _and_ knows what she's doing. Still, there's no harm in asking Jacob's brother to see what he says. I really feel for Carla now. She seems to legitimately WANT to help Leslie, but doesn't know how.

If I had to guess, I might speculate it deters some less helpful behaviors like “FIRST POST!!1”, something about bots, and maybe gives (the most opinionated) people a little cooling down time before posting the very thing that pops into their mind?

Is the challenge not difficult enough without inventing rules to make it more difficult? Your adversaries won’t be tying one or both hands behind their backs. Unless Carla got that money from mercenary contracts personally executing Bulmerian children, it doesn’t seem all that tainted to me. Or does Leslie consider Carla tainted by inheritance?
