We are going to watch this again. My friends want to watch this with you who am I to argue? My gf and I watched this with Cassie she couldn't take it. This will be a interesting watch with you.

We loved it Cassie through off her earbuds when the two ...well you know. My gf said it was the scariest movies she has ever seen. Try Cronos for a vampire movie.

I had heard lots people weren't keen on the moustache but i mean that's what a 14 century Romanian warlord would have right?

Great reaction to a phenominal movie! I saw it opening day on Christmas and it was everything I could have asked for in a vampire film. You mentioned that the film made Count Orlok very human; if you want to go even more in that direction, there's Nosferatu the Vampire (1979), an adaptation from Werner Herzog that has a very unique take on the lore. But as always my first and most urgent suggestion will remain Rosemary's Baby (1968), my favorite horror film of all time.

I loved the movie but I was subject to the meme about it before watching it - so when the Orlok was talking I couldn't stop hearing "Dou must bounce on it crazy style" 😅

You should watch Shadow of the Vampire. It's a reimagining of the making of Nosferatu 1922 if the actor playing Orlock were actually a vampire. The vampire is played by Willem Dafoe.
