Boggs is the voice of Chucky

EmilyKT

One of my favorite episodes of the show! And you were half right about Brad Dourif...he was in LOTR, but he didn't play Denethor...he was Grima Wormtongue! But now that you've seen this episode, you NEED to watch Exorcist III. Won't go into why, because spoilers...but Brad Dourif makes a memorable appearance. He's also the voice of Chucky!! He's a horror icon and one of the best character actors around...Oscar nominated for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest...though sadly, no award for this episode, which is a crime.

Brad Dourif is his name he has been a lot of stuff. Daniel Baldwin was the killer. Alec's brother

There are different tiers of reactors too. In this case, it is a great special show and a top reactor. I think this is what it's all about in the reacting world, and it's so worth a patreon subscription to see something like this reaction.

Brad Dourif is Chucky. And if you haven't seen the Child's Play movies (the original ones, not the remake), you really should watch them! They are fun horror. And they just get more and more goofy and fun as the sequels continue. I love your reactions and your comments during the shows. But there is something so special when you are so absorbed by the episode that you just spend a lot time just watching. Ha

Brad Dourif is pretty legendary in the horror community. I especially like him in The Exorcist III.

You wonder why these less known actors stay that way after such performances. Ed Norton is one of the few who became well known. Great that you can notice such depth in these actors.

Scully's dad is saying the Lord's Prayer when he first appears to her, right before she gets the phone call from her mom that he'd passed. Good call on the song, too... and get used to seeing Max's NICAP cap. :D Brad Douriff was a HUGE get for this show. When The X-Files originally aired, the first three seasons aired on Friday nights, which is usually where networks send their shows to get cancelled (the popular thinking was that "nobody cool's home on a Friday night to watch TV, everyone's out at the movies or hitting the clubs!"). Episodes like this one (with an Oscar nominee guest starring) helped to cement the show's status as a breakout hit, or at least having developed a strong fan following. Literally every other show that aired on Friday nights alongside the X-Files (except Sliders, which also broke out of Friday Night jail) never made it past the first season, and a lot of them were pretty good shows. We knew the show had made it when it got moved to Sunday nights... it was appointment viewing in my family, which is yet another reason why getting to re-watch this show through your reactions is so fun, because Sunday appointment viewing of The X-Files has returned!

I am so glad you loved my hands down favorite Episode. Even more impressive is that you spotted Brad Dourif who played in one of your favorite Movies Lord of the Rings. I can't wait for you to view Him in the Film Exorcist 3, or One flew over the Cuckoo's nest in watches other things.

This is in my top ten episodes, which sounds less than what it is. I love this episode so much and I’m so glad that you seemed to enjoy it as much as I do.

Brad Dourif is SO good in Exorcist III. It’s the true sequel to The Exorcist. Highly recommend!

Like everyone here already wrote - You need to see The Exorcist III - then You will really get this performance by Brad Dourif. But he is known for this kind of acting from many other movies. I like the less known movie with him and Michael Ironside "Chaindance" from 1991. Overall Brad plays "wierd" very well.

Brad Dourif, one of the greats, one of the best horror icons, an amazing actor, LotR, Chucky, hell he even shows up in Star Trek Voyager as an incredible character. his daughter got into acting and stars with him in later Chucky stuff

It's interesting what they do with the names in this episode Luther LEE Boggs and LUCAS HENRY. Clearly, they are recalling the true life serial killer, HENRY LEE LUCAS. BTW, Henry Lee Lucas was one of the only death sentences that George W. Bush as Governor of Texas would not execute despite the fact that Henry Lee Lucas confessed to dozens of murders. Meanwhile, Bush as Governor signed off on more executions than any other Governor in history including mentally ill and children when they committed their crimes. Very strange and probably revealing of some truth behind the scenes.
