Emily wants candy (Patreon)

Hiii, I did say I had a cool idea for a drawing of Emily, didn't I ;)

And yeah, I know, it's not Halloween yet, but who cares!! The whole month is spooky themed. You can just return to this piece on the 31th if you're a stickler for the rules or something like that. In any case, I've been meaning to draw Emily in a witchy outfit for literal years, I just kept on forgetting to do it.

Just look how cute she turned out! Is she hinting at you to give her candies? Is she summoning them? And also losing her robe and belt in the process? Mmh! Who knows. Up to interpretation.

What do you think of the palette? It's actually the very same used in the ending screens, just applied to the more refined style of Spirit of Hunger's. I was a little conflicted in whether to use the same white and magenta for the skin, but 1. perhaps Emily is just that pale, have you ever thought of that, and 2. I like how her belly turned out, it looks like a bubble gum (omg like a candy!! waow this darkeyev2 guy really thinks of everything)

Ah, fun fact: Emily's Midnight Snack was meant to have a bowl of stale candies from the previous Halloween. That got scrapped, mostly because I couldn't come up with a place for it that would've made sense.

I'll see if I can manage some extra drawing in the month - sorry for the delay, by the way! Hadn't accounted for my seasonal depression, oops, but at least I've continued writing some stuff for Frontier Gourmand :) (albeit at a slow rate, what can ya do)
