I'm not sure why there's a SUDDEN renaissance of interest in Jeremiah Johnson, especially among fangirls who've never seen Butch Cassidy, The Sting or All the President's Men. It's a good movie, but it didn't really raise that much radar among other 70's revisionist westerns at the time. I know we have a new generation of fangirls discovering Robert Redford for the first time (and looking younger than he did in Captain America: Winter Soldier), but can't help feeling that 90% of the interest is in "The movie that the meme came from".

I've only seen 2 Jeremiah Johnson reactions in the last year (not including this one). My guess is that the majority of communities for reaction channels are Boomers, followed by Gen X..and that's where the requests are coming from.
