You will need your own copy of the movie to watch along! 😁

How do you think I'm doing so far with my training? 😏

Eric Bonham

Are you surprised it didn't take place in Chicago?

Robert Inman

It was a little slow because at it's core, this was a character piece not an action film. Of course the sequels were in many cases themed quite differently. (Eye of the Tiger was from a sequel) 🙂

George Roybal

Stallone wrote it as a love story. The boxing was basically what he did and who he was when he met Adrian.

Carlos Perez

BUTKUS (the dog) was Stallone's real life dog. Right before Rocky was made, he had to sell him. He used the money he got for the script to buy him back 🐶

Chicago Artist Jon

If you want boxing action you can watch Clint’s Million Dollar Baby. Just remember to protect yourself at all times. 🤐

If my memory is correct, I think she mentioned she has seen that one.

Rocky lost at the end, by split decision. (Three judges vote per round). Even then he wasn't aiming to win, but to 'go the distance', basically go the full 15 and still be standing. I hope you watch the other 5. It only gets better :D
