Get better! Make sure the family does their antibiotics to prevent problems later. McLintock is always great for a laugh, putting Wayne and O'Hara together again. 👍

Ohhh. That's no joke. I had a bout of strep in my 20's that put me in the hospital for a week. The IV antibiotics I got must have been weak tea because the nasty bugger travelled to my heart & gave me myocarditis, which I was very lucky/blessed to survive. I'm sure the meds have come a long way since the Dark Ages of the 80's but please take this very seriously Dawn & make sure the whole family follows the protocols to the letter. You don't want a relapse with this thing. As always, rest is key. Prayers for a speedy, full recovery for everyone!

I used to drink raw eggs in a milkshake all the time in the '70s as part of my workout routine. Never got sick. It wasn't until later decades that the eggs became unsafe. I love McClintock, funny movie. It has Wayne's daughter and a son acting in it.

Zabaglione- You beat 3 raw egg yolks in a mug & mix with lots of sugar until creamy. Then you pour in steaming hot regular coffee & stir until drinking consistency. Delicious & instant energy for a sagging butt. Mom got me off to school many a morning with a Z, especially during winter when I wanted no part of the elements.

Watched No Country For Old Men last week for MY first time to get on board. It was a trip alright!
