Very good choice. 👍🏾

There's no reason at all in the story, but Howard Hawks and his wife called each other Slim and Steve, so it's an in-joke.

As well as being Mrs Bogart, and one of the great stars of classic Hollywood in her own right, Bacall was also an excellent co-star in John Wayne’s final movie (which, to be honest, you get more out of the more you know of Duke’s work – it’s not quite a great film in its own right, but it is the perfect end to his career).

Jimmy Walker

Do you know how to whistle now?

Ragnar Miersch

I swear, nobody laughs more at Dawn than Dawn does. I was on the edge of my sea waiting for her to recognize Walter Brennen. One of the main reasons I chose this movie was to see the look on her face when she saw her ol' pal Stumpy and she paid me off in spades. I know Dawn likes our picks and I know we enjoy Dawn liking our picks but man o' man there's nothing like sitting in the old man cave with her and laughing (sometimes crying) 'til it takes me away from all the cares and woes of the world. Some of you may think I gush too much over her, and that's fine, but of the dozen or so reactors I Patronize, Dawn is the ONLY one I would sit and watch the "Full reaction" with. Her whole persona is infectious in the most delightful way and I, for one, am glad she decided to add to her family's finances by choosing this medium. It will be a dark day for us all if Hollywood ever comes calling and we lose her. P.S.....Sorry about the back-to-back picks. Just the luck of the draw. I hope they were to your liking as well, my friends.

Is anyone else having an issue with not all the comments displaying? I've only got 2 out of 6 for the past several hours now.

Al

The first scene with Bacall and Bogart, she leans against the door frame because she was so nervous.

Should be 8 comments (now 9). Close the app for a while and let it refresh every so often.

"There's a reason he's called Frenchy"- worth the price of admission alone! 😄

No problemo, Ragnar. You gave Dawn the happy ending she didn't get in Casablanca so you did good, kid! 😁

Bartleby

Sure would be swell if Dawn dropped the full reaction to Taxi Driver today…. 🥺

Anyone else still having a problem bringing up full comment thread? My "Load More Comments" option will not appear.

Same here. It was fine yesterday, but not today. Logging out didn't help and I don't see anything in the settings that would make a difference. I'm usually on Firefox, but I tried Chrome and have the same issue.

The phone app on Android works fine, but the website does not.

Still not working normal...or at least, not the same way it used to work. If I click on the individual video post, the comments will open up just for that video. Before, I could scroll through the whole feed and all comments were accessible.
