Has anyone played Resident Evil 4? And if so, did they just completely copy the storyline from this movie!? 🤣

Woohoo.... Looking forward to this. Stupid work getting in the way

Ceryk

It is possible. Playing Diablo 4 and ran into an area that is straight up Temple of Doom called the Altar of Ruin and you need to unlock a door with 3 magic stones held by cultists, lol

Retro Maven

Remember, it's not copyright infringement if you can't prove it!! People steal stuff from my YT page ALL the time. You'll love the next installment, many consider it to be the best of the entire series!!

Elliot Nesterman

Ke Huy Quan (Short Round) was in another fun film the next year: "The Goonies." Since then he worked mostly behind the scenes in films, with the occasional small role. Until last year, that is. Last year he landed a significant supporting role in "Everything Everywhere All at Once" for which performance he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Another fun adventure film you should put on the list is "The Man Who Would Be King" (1975). Based on a short story by Rudyard Kipling, it stars Sean Connery and Michael Caine as former British soldiers seeking their fortunes in Central Asia.

Robert Inman

Dawn, notice the 1935 date in Shanghai, this happened before the first move in time, so Indy hadn't gotten back with Marion yet.

Bartleby

The best thing about this movie is its cultural sensitivity and accurate depictions of exotic foreign cultures.

Jordan Love

I'm fairly sure this movie didn't use any CGI. Very sophisticated models yes, but no computers involved afaik. If my knowledge of movie history is correct, the only movie before this to use CGI was Tron 2 years earlier, then nothing till The Abyss (1989), five years after this film. And it didn't become a staple of action films till Terminator 2, two years after that.

Raiders of the Lost Ark had a "Well of Souls" not a "Temple of Doom".

Matthew Dunham

I'm sure 8 million video games copied this movie! Any old folks (like me) remember PITFALL! 🤣❤️🤣❤️🤣

Casey Fairley

Dawn, Indy turned evil was the hardest part to take in this film for me. I don't know how most feel but I liked that it was a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark. As for Short Round, we know from "Raiders" that he's not with Indy anymore. I'm sure Indy set him up nicely before he returned to the states. Short Round's parents were killed but he most likely had other family Indy found. That's what Archaeologists do isn't it? Find lost stuff, lol. Thanks for a terrific & fun 1st watch reaction vid! Cheers! :)

Ke Huy Quan had a role in an American sitcom called "Head Of The Class" about a group of high school Honor students. He was 19 at the time.

Ted Little

All these movies copy from each other and they all copy from the serials of the 30's, 40's, and 50's. For fun, you should watch the Republic serial, "Zorro's Black Whip."
