Thanks for checking this one out, Jen!!!!! Michael Douglas was definitely something of a heart throb back in this era, plus a pretty reliable box office draw from the studios perspective, so he made a ton of movies back then. And a lot of them are great, too: Fatal Attraction, Wall Street, Black Rain, plus Jewel of the Nile and War of the Roses (both with Kathleen and Danny.) Def worth checking out. If my aging memory serves, I think he and Danny were roommates in college, so they go waaay back.

Are you not breaking out the champagne anymore when it pops up in a movie?

TigerMyth

Interesting. The score at the beginning is from a much older movie. One of my favorite scores. How The West Was Won.

This is a great movie. Seen it so many times and could watch it again every few years

I've always liked this movie, it's a fun adventure. You should definitely check out the sequel, Jen - The Jewel of the Nile. More fun with Joan and Jack. :)

She can't drink alcohol for the next few months.

If you are doing the Douglas/Turner/DeVitos, don't let War of the Roses slip by. It is a forgotten classic.
