i do enjoy trek episodes that end with little funny bits like picard using data's lack of understanding of humor to troll riker.

Fanchman

I knew you would enjoy "Captain" Data giving a dressing down to Worf. Then the customary tug on the uniform. 😁

Anthony Hernandez

The tall Klingon was played by James Worthy, a hall of fame basketball player, who is 6 feet, 9 inches tall (206 cm).

Vina

I love that scene, and it's def a fan favorite. It's a great example of two individuals with both a friendship and working relationship dealing with the friction from the new-found professional roles and coming to a resolution in a very adult way.

Lee R.

Never really cared for this 2 parter, the whole plot could have been resolved so much easier. Did enjoy the Data & Worf interactions, but never understood why the smugglers couldn't just all knock Baran over the head and take his torture device lol

The Star Treker (aka Michael)

I honestly had a blast rewatching the "Gambit" two-parter. Seeing Data in command and Worf as his first officer was just awesome—they play off each other so well. And having both Picard and Riker undercover? That was such a cool twist. These episodes are easily some of my favorites from TNG's final season—just pure fun from start to finish. I'm really glad you enjoyed it too, Jen. I can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the season and how everything wraps up. There's so much good stuff ahead! 😊

43:45 yawns are contagious.

Noremac

I liked these episodes. So funny seeing Warf internally-combust trying to comprehend Data's tactics.

Guybrush Threepwood

Was halfway thru the episode and was driving me nuts that the vulcan woman Talaria seemed so familiar, then it clicked she's the same actress that played Saavik in Star Trek 3 and 4 then i remembered seeing her name in the opening credits!!!!

Summer

I still think the Vulcan was truly Romulan

Squeesher

Big Game James! I forgot about that lol

George Foot

The recap at the start reminded me of something that seemed really off in part 1 - the man they are interrogating at the bar says something like "a group of aliens sat at that table..." - why would he call them aliens? It seems a very odd thing to do, especially when addressing a bunch of humans who, to him, are also aliens.

Andrew Roach

Ops, your thumbnail has episode 4 instead of 5.

Desmond

Yeah, the Data/Worf scene was a very mature, well written interaction between two characters who are consummate professionals. Rare that you ever see a scene like that on modern television.

Jen Murray

Thanks for letting me know! I did change it but sometimes Patreon doesnt update the thumb

Bammer

Tallera was played by Robin Curtis, who also played Lt. Saavik in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

season 7, its coming down to the wire . You're going to be a mess when it ends..

TheADHDOverlord

the end of this episode is honestly one of my FAVORITE non-Dramatic. Spiner plays the scene PERFECTLY. 😂😂😂
