Been waiting to finish this show off with you Jen I'm super excited your thumbnail as always is wonderful purple on purple very nice 🙂 . Having yet to watch this season I can only go off the first three and I'd probably say ' the work outing ' is my favourite 😀 .that may ofc change after I've seen season 4 , I've got popcorn so I'm all set 🔥🙌 let's go !

You know Jen, if you enjoyed "The IT Crowd" then might I recommend two other sitcoms from the same writer? "Father Ted" (1995-1998) and "Black Books" (2000-2004).

The show, What We Do In the Shadows, stars Matt Berry (Mr. Reynolms, the boss dude). The movie that the TV show is based on is also funny (different cast/characters).

Moss on countdown lol that's amazing 😀 yes Jen it's a British quiz show that's on every week day in the afternoon there's also an adult comedy version called 8 out of 10 cats does countdown which the actor who plays moss Richard Ayoade has appeared as a team captain

"The Work Outing" is my favorite overall episode, but "Jen the Fredo" is probably my #2. It's funny, the actors get a chance to stretch a little (especially Katherine Parkinson and Chris O'Dowd), and you get to see that Moss really cares for Roy and is able to help him through emotional hardship using the skills at his disposal. Others have mentioned the "season 5" final episode / special, and I hope that you watch it. IMO, it's a good sendoff for the show.

I'd like to put in another vote for Black Books. Both Father Ted and Black Books are quick watches, but Black Books is over 2 hours shorter overall than Father Ted so less to edit. 18 episodes over 3 seasons, about 25 minutes each, and there have been fewer reaction channels that have done it compared to Father Ted.

Totally different vibe, but if you're looking for another (Irish) sitcom, I highly recommend Moone Boy. Written by Chris O'Dowd (Roy in The IT Crowd), who stars as the main character's imaginary friend. It's only 17 episodes long, very funny, and (IMO) quite endearing.

oh, other British comedies? There are tons of old classics that also showed on PBS stations in the US, I wouldn't know about Canada though. "Are You Being Served?" is one of the best sitcoms to check out if you haven't already!

Very late here but for other British comedies I highly recommend Spaced. Its the TV series that started Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wrights careers and brought the Cornetto Trilogy into existence. It's also very short two seasons of seven episodes so you could get through it pretty quickly.

This was my second full watch of the series after my original years ago and it was a delight to experience it with you. Though I have to say I am a bit bummed that you haven't reacted to the proper IT Crowd series finale that was released in 2013. I'm sure your reaction schedule is pretty full but I was wondering if you might have the time to see it after finishing Seinfeld (since you only have 1 season of that show left) and before you take on another show on the schedule. The IT Crowd finale is only 45 min long As for other British comedies, I can't recommend Garth Marenghi's Darkplace enough. It's only 6 episodes long and stars Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade.
