Well this one had a little bit of everything! Romance of course, but also a mystery, comedy, supernatural thriller. Patrick Swayze was as dashing as ever, Whoopi was charming and funny, Demi was so sweet! I laughed, cried and blushed. Good choice on this one 👍 Any other Patrick, Whoopi or Demi movies we should check out?

That thumbnail Jen , looks like this one hit you hard in the feels 🫂 this movie much like Edward scissorhands is kinda sad but really good at the same time , just grabbing a drink and I'm hitting play 🙂 . Demi moore movies G.i Jane , st Elmo's fire and Charlie's angels . After watching hot fuzz I'm surprised you havnt added point break to a poll so +1 for that one 👍

Point Break 1991( Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze) and Road House 1989

The Color Purple is an Epically Iconic movie. One of the best ever.

Mastervodo

The recent Demi movie is "The Substance".

Roadhouse is awesome. who are these people baggin' on Roadhouse and Weekend at Bernie's?? They must be from the jerk store or somethin'!

Over50Gamer

I agree with you and the other commenters. Roadhouse is a fun movie to show off Swayze's action chops. RIP Patrick. You were gone too soon. 💔

Chrissonator

In fact, Patrick refused to do the movie unless they cast Whoopi. :D

Milton Reduxed

My favourite Demi Moore role is thriller Disclosure (1994)

Paul Deaconu

You definitely need to check out Point Break.

Sean Jackson

No doubt this is Beverly Crushers favorite movie. Glad you're watching this when it's free on YT Jen.

One of the three VHS tapes I got from Christmas money when I was a pre-teen. Probably in 1992 when I was 11. Those were my first ever VHS tapes I owned. The other titles were, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've often thought later in life that was a broad choice for an eleven year old. I remember seeing this film at my Nans, perhaps the Christmas before. So much of the script has been burnt into my brain from multiple watches during those formative years.

Alexis Vorian

I'd recommend: Indecent Proposal (1993) Demi Moore - Robert Redford - Woody Harrelson. It's a little spicy.

Jimazoid

One of my favorite films! Whoopi did a great job acting. She had to be in the scene with Patrick and act like she couldn't see him, even though he's close to her.

Milton Reduxed

Yeah Jumping Jack Flash is a fun 80s movie

Ghost movies always confuse me in a way. Because it seems to me that once the existence of the supernatural (or life after death) is confirmed that it renders the plot and all earthly concerns moot.

One of the most memorable uses of a piece of music in a film ever—Iconic is an overused word today but that pottery scene really is

I love this film. 1990 is one of my favourite years for movies, and Ghost is my number 2, right behind The Excorcist 3.

In England it's often said that celebrities often die in threes, within about a week of each other, which i admit i saw happen a few times in the 80s and 90s, but now so many random people get themselves on tv, it's not so much a rule of 3 anymore, not that you can truly count someone from a reality show as famous😋

jon bolton

Me and my girlfriend have a similar thing to ditto. Whichever one of us says 'i love you', the other responds 'i love you more '. Then the person who originally said it responds 'you bugga 😂'.

jon bolton

Well it's not too long ago you watched Geordie LaForge and Ro Laren go to their funeral in my second favourite TNG.

jon bolton

Don't worry about getting teary at the end Jen. I'm a 45 year old guy. I must have watched this about 30 times over the decades, when Whoopi says 'they are waiting for you Sam' is always my first tear, closely followed by another when Demi says ditto. Yeah, i might love horror movies best, and be a Trekkie nerd, but i'm emotional😂

jon bolton

Demi Moore starred in a film last year that i love, The Substance. Good luck though trying to edit that for YouTube because of nudity😂

Enjoyed watching this movie with you Jen. I think the last time I saw it was on VHS so it's been a while, but I did remember a lot of Whoopi's funny dialogue. It's still a cool movie with a lot of clever ideas, and a lot of heart 🤗 Director Jerry Zucker is best known for comedy, being one third of the directing team on Airplane! and also helping to create Police Squad and The Naked Gun. The composer was the late, great Maurice Jarre, who is probably best know for his epic scores for David Lean. Lawrence of Arabia, Ryan's Daughter, Doctor Zhivago, A Passage to India to name a few. In the 80s and 90s he started using a lot of electronics in his scores, sometimes just having an electronic ensemble, and other times combining them with the orchestra. Some of his best scores in that period include Witness, Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome, The Mosquito Coast, Enemy Mine and Fatal Attraction. He is also the father of synthesiser legend Jean-Michel Jarre, he of Oygene fame. That's it. I'm finished with my music facts for today 😅 Thanks for your awesome reaction for Ghost Jen 👻😊

You should check out 'The Outsiders'

Harvey Lee

Good episode , i still don't understand why Geordie and Ro didn't fall through the floor and into deep space 🤔 one of the fantasy elements i shouldn't be wracking my brains over ..... GHOST is a really good one it manages to blend being a supernatural mystery and a love story .
