Another great DS9 reaction Jen! I always have a great time watching these with you every week! 🔥🖖

I don't understand it. Dax is one of my favorite characters on the show and Terry Farrell is brilliant, but the Dax episodes (barring Blood Oath) have always been my least favorite character episodes of DS9. Maybe I just am not a fan of Trill. However, watching reactions with Jen makes even the Dax entries enjoyable!

It takes a bit of time to flesh the character out as they started to pivot from the “wise old stoic mentor in young pretty body” that was the original conceit to the eventually fully realized person who is passionate, fun-loving, and a bit of a chaos goblin that she becomes/is becoming. Part of that was Terry Farrell becoming more comfortable with the role and the writers working with her to realize who Jadzia could be.

Without spoiling anything, my opinion of the Dax episodes isn't just up until this point, it's over the course of the entire series.
