Series finale , don't like the sound of that but all good things come to an end . It's been a wonderful journey with so many laughs and fun moments, way too many to mention , I did love the pes episode though and the India episode was very funny and unique. Mainly though I've loved watching this show with you Jen you've been spectacular 🔥✨💙

Katie DeFonzo

Thank you for all of the joy you have brought us with these reactions, Jen 😊It really is so rewatchable - whenever you are missing Sein a bit extra, I encourage you to listen to an incredible podcast called Seincast hosted by two best friends/superfans who did a hilarious and still informative deep dive into each of the 180 episodes. Truly, thank you, it’s been such a fun journey!

This has been a ride! I'm sad that it's over. I'm also looking forward to what u check out next. BTW, I did my vote on the TV Poll & fingers crossed on what's to come!

Rob Nichols

Least favorite, The Finale, I hated it. But I'll watch again with you, if your laughter can't make it fun nothing can.

Darryl Low

It's the end of the line for Sein 😭😭😭 I've watched these shows so many times over the years, but watching them again with you has been a blast Jen. I've loved laughing along with you through every season. I think my favourite episodes are the one with Jean-Paul Jean-Paul, The Jimmy and also The Calzone 😄 Thanks for giving us a good laugh every week Jen. Looking forward to watching these Grand Finale episodes, and also the bloopers next week. Should be a lot of fun 😊 That was a fun reaction Jen. You were kind of speechless haha. I think overall it left people a little under-whelmed because it wasn't the all out laughfest they were expecting. Jerry himself said after it that leaving them in prison at the end was their biggest mistake.

27% of the US population watched this when it aired, which is nuts to think about given how fragmented TV watching is now. Been so awesome to rewatch all of these. Hope at some point you check out Curb, since it's very much in the same lineage, even iirc it didn't do very well on the poll.

Wow, what a time, going through this series. It's been great. Best episodes that come to mind for me - The Engagement - huge amount of story stuffed into one episode! The Soup Nazi - every story in that one is great The Pool Guy - same thing. so much good stuff There are plenty of greats of course, and plenty where at least one of the stories in the episode is phenomenal! The amount of hilarious scenes and moments, ideas and dialogue - way too many to list!

Dylan

I can’t believe we are at the finale of Seinfeld. It’s sad to see it end but what an awesome journey it was! It’s been a pleasure watching this great show with you Jen, and I can’t wait for your reaction to the bloopers.

Erik Lundmark

From a European perspective, I'd bet it was the same figures in every other country here too, I know it broke records in Sweden. Not bad for a show on it's Last episode, how many shows nowadays can say that?

Summer

I liked how everyone rushed to them, can’t say the characters didn’t deserve some of the flak like George, but its a complicated way to end

Matt O'Keefe

The fat guy who was carjacked was fairly well known comedian named John Pinette. Probably Jerry's friend. He told a lot of jokes about his weight and eating.i always enjoyed his comedy as a younger person. I am fat and have been for years. Pinette died 12 years ago from a pulmonary embolism.

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

The Finale is here!! I wish you would do Curb your Enthusiasm after this ,🤓 There many favorites The Chinese Restaurant The Serenity Now The Fatigues The Little Jerry The Contest The Chicken Roasters... And of course The Big Salad with Ro Laren (Michelle Forbes) 🤓🖖🏼 There's prob only 2 or 3 that seem boring to me lol

ak416

So sad that it's over, I really enjoyed watching this series along with you! Fingers crossed Curb isn't too far off, I know it didn't do great in the poll but it's very much a spiritual successor to Seinfeld and I think you'd really enjoy it. Thanks Jen!

Curran Dobbs

The original airing of this episode wasn't split into two episodes but the reruns were split into two episodes (same with the Star Trek episodes like the pilot episodes of TNG and DS9 as well as The Way of the Warrior that are presented on streaming services/DVD releases/etc. as extra long episodes).

Gerardo Cardenas

Ahaha I always go back and forth on the finale while watching it but still land on loving it after 🤭 i think especially after the clip show it's a bit weird 'cause the finale is almost a clip show itself. But this is the end of weekly Seinfeld!! 😭

GordonColeVibes

I never watch this one, too bittersweet and bizarre to me, but I just finished your reaction and it made it much better and digestible even for any future watches on my own. I think it's a perfect ending though for this show though.

GordonColeVibes

I also hope Curb is next, it's the most natural path and timing by far (genuinely a "if not now, when?"). Also Jen, Frank Sinatra had a heart attack and died the same night the finale aired and the ambulance managed to get to the hospital in record time due to the lack of traffic, which has been attributed to most people being at home watching the finale.

Christopher Lamont Harris

I'm glad you enjoyed it but not as much as Newman did for seeing them go to jail

BND

I can't believe it's over! It's been years since I've rewatched the show and I enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to whatever's next!

Paul Deaconu

The Contest and The Boyfriend are definitely my favorite episodes.

Philip Presley

The Cigar Store Indian is the best one.

Senzu Bean

Damn, the TV poll has a bunch of absolute masterpieces to pick from. I will miss the Seinfeld reactions.

Brian Straight

I'd say, our attitude towards cell-phone use has changed a bit in the last 30 years.

Geoff S.

This originally aired the night Frank Sinatra died. I remember reading Nancy Sinatra was at home watching when the hospital called her and told her but she didn't make it in time. Traffic was light because everyone was watching the show so the ambulance got to Cedars Sinai fast.

Brian Straight

Real-world versions of Good Samaritan laws were just met with fines. (And, are actually called Duty to Rescue laws (Good Samaritan laws protect people from being sued if their attempt to help fails. (Say, they perform CPR wrong.)) Violatoes of Real-world Duty to Rescue laws are relieved if the situation has a risk to it, which would apply here since the car-jacker appeared to have a gun.

Sykonee

Even as they sit in prison, our crew remain true: Elaine: primarily concerned about social standing with her peers Kramer: enjoying the simple pleasures of life (water in ear ain't no joke) George & Jerry: talking about nothing of consequence

Jofus

It's not over yet; can't wait for the bloopers.

Yann Laliberte

In no particular orders, my 10 favorite episodes are: -The Contest -The Soup Nazi -The Marine Biologist -The Big Salad -The Voice -The Outing =The Boyfriend -The Cafe -The Opposite -The Betrayal

Jacob Colson

Jen, I know you picked the hour and a half version of the Seinfeld bloopers, and whilst they're really good you'll miss some good bloopers. I recommend you watch the 2 hour+ one on your own time. You'll be quite tickled!

FischerMax98

Hate to see your Seinfeld reactions end, I've enjoyed them very much. There's a theory that Kramer actually caused the plane to crash and they all died. The rest of the show was them in purgatory. (Like the ending of another very popular show with a fan base dividing ending).

Patrick Turman

Jen, if you liked Seinfeld than I think you'll really like Curb. Larry David plays himself so there are a ton of Seinfeld references. And the humor is very much the same because basically it's a series about the real George Costanza (except he doesn't have a bus tour).

Kane

If you're going to watch Curb, I would definitely watch it next in your Seinfeld slot, it's basically the same style of humor, it exists in a world where Seinfeld exists and is referenced because Larry David plays himself. I might be the in the minority but I think Curb is even funnier than Seinfeld.

Kane

Also, I should have said in the comment above, thank you for these reactions. Rewatching this show with you was an absolute blast. I followed mostly on youtube but I did the full watch-a-longs for some of the classic episodes. I'm one of the rare people who always liked the finale, although I think over the years people have come around to it, it was quite unpopular at the time.

Patrick Turman

Yes I did. Can I vote for it twice? (ha ha)

DWM

On your own time you should really check out the Seinfeld-related interview clips with Jason Alexander playlist below. I only just watched them recently myself after being a fan of the show since it's original airing and following along with your viewing. They're really interesting and help you understand the creation of the show and characters a little better! Especially George. I can't recommend it enough. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJP_M59vk2FrL-PXLbqWZ5V1kCTTru5at I'd love to hear Jen's or anyone's thoughts on them.

Red Dwarf

I was always fine with the finale. We got to see our fave characters return. And they were selfish, horrible people tbh LOL

chris budberg

I loved the finale. I think it was very well done. It’s so hard to do a finale. There is no way you can make everyone happy and address everything. It would take hours to cover everything. “ no soup for you !!”
