Ketanak

we did see the loli player but in 1 frame flashback and she was never labelled, there was an overlord expo in japan with all supreme beeing displayed though. I can show her to you it's not spoilery if you want :)

apoc9

The first episode is confusing due to sudden exposition of new information. The dragon does not leave his place instead he sends remotely controlled humanoid armour. Herald is a servant that goes before king or noble and announces to people ahead to expect his master to be either arriving or passing through.

Twohearts Off

My man Gabiru can't catch a break smh

Lost

Yeah, new season means the world expands a lot, so it's a lot of information at once. Pretty much like the first season, it starts off slow while explaining the world, before it picks up. It's a really good season though

Pharos Dusklight

Also, something else that is not explained there is that the remotely controlled armor fought Shalltear before Ains arrived in the place she was being mind controlled, that is the short fight scene you saw earlier but none of them could take her down

Abura-bo

Recall from S1 that Ains and Albedo discussed culling the lizardmen for Ains' undead experiments.

The Force

LIZARD VILLAGE ARC LESSGO -- As others have said, a lot is left out of the show from the LN, some of it intentional, some of it just poor design cause of how dense the LN is. An example of poor design is what Pharos said in response to apoc9, the dragon technically fought Shalltear with the remote controlled/puppeteered armor before Ainz showed up, but lost. Which is the flashback we see with the armor attacking her. Neither it's ability to control the armor, nor when it fought her, are made clear because they are trying too hard to show instead of tell. A single line of 'I used that armor against her before the hero killed her' overlayed on that flashback would solve all confusion, imo as a writer myself. Another thing left out is the actual power levels of creatures but this is INTENTIONAL so if you see people "correcting" statements about how strong characters are in comparison to each other. In the LN we basically got approximate levels, usually closest 10s, for example a description would be "Close to level X0 in power". The anime intentionally makes these more ambiguous so as to add drama and tension to fights as the watcher doesn't know the detailed numbers. Also cause it's shown pretty regularly that skills, equipment, and experience make a huge difference. For instanct almost all guardians of Nazarick are level 100 like Ainz. But Shalltear is described as the most powerful "in single combat" cause of her skills and gear, yet Ainz was able to overcome that with experience and planning, so the number is important but not the end all be all. Though like in most games a 10 level difference is a huge gap in strength xD

Seeeasooon twoooo!!! <3 Regarding the names at the start: Don't worry about it. It basically does not come up ever again in the anime. Regarding people spying on the battle between Ainz and Shalltear: In the books, Ainz takes a lot of precautions to make sure they can't. It's left out of the anime but presumably still happened off screen. Yes, the dragon is the armor (controls it remotely), but he did not tell Rigrit he was a dragon for a long time. He pretended to be human, which is why Rigrit is/was mad at him and says her friend is the armor. The dragon fought Shalltear after she was mind controlled, before Ainz noticed and arrived. PS: Reminder that after credits scenes this season are in episodes 4 and 9.
