Guilt tripping is in fact an english phrase, though probably not appropriate. Since she went to hang up almost immediately and thanked him for his time, I doubt the lady on the phone was *trying* to make him feel guilty. Guilt tripping as a phrase is *supposed* to imply that they are intentionally trying to make someone feel guilty to change their mind/influence their decision. Sometimes when people are disappointed they just voice it without thinking, I've done it before and had to apologize when I realized it xD

Yeah that went completely over my head, though in my defense it's probably cause my mom and I had a, to put it mildly, not great relationship growing up and I only learned that after moving out and telling my roommate about my childhood and him being like "Dude... what the fuck how are you alive?"

I only found out what eye tape was when I first started dating my wife and she said she used them not to get "puffy eyes" after crying lol. I don't think many people in Western culture use them for that reason at least. I wanted them to hug so badly as well lmao. Has to be hard because Gojo is crazy new to even being a friend to a girl.
