December Updates (Patreon)

Hey all!

For anyone in the US, I hope you were able to have an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend :)

Mine, unfortunately, was marred by being incredibly sick. As was the month of November, to be totally honest, and for the first time in over a year, I completely unplugged from writing, patreon, and emails for 72 hours, and took a few days to focus on resting to gear up for this month.

But I wanted to also update everyone on the contributions made possible because of patreon last month:

And on top of that...

With some money from last month and some I'd been saving throughout the year from here, I was able to adopt about a dozen children (toys/books/shoes pictured above!) for the holidays!! Christmas presents will be on the way to their destinations soon.

I'm so thankful, truly, to be able to do what I love for a living, and to have everyone that subscribes here to make not only that possible, but also make it possible to save up to be able to give back. It was really possible to do all of this because of everyone here, and I'm so thrilled to be able to do something good in the world in some way, to pay things forward.
