"You know that bit where he'd say propane is 270 times more compact in its liquid form than as a gas? I gave him that line—but he sure knew how to deliver it." - Hank Hill

When Bobby uses comedy to save a lackluster Strickland Grill-Stravaganza, Buck hires him to take his show on the road for the sake of shilling propane. But Hank learns the dangers of comedy when some unfortunate improv insults its diaper-wearing target.

Argent You Glad I Didn't Say Banana

Bananas probably should cost more than eggs, it is an insane feat of logistics to get them here before they ripen year round

Hey Bob and Henry, saw the mention of Elian Gonzalez. A few friends and comrades recently went to Cuba to deliver humanitarian and medical supplies through the Hatuey Project. They also heard the Cuban president Miguel Diaz Canal speak at Parliament and came back with a very positive experience and an even stronger anti-imperialist perspective. Despite the U.S. blockade and the hostility of right-wing Cuban Americans or as they are called Gusanos (worms), the Cuban people living under a horrific and violent blockade and revolutionary government continue to stand in defiance. While I’m Salvadoran, not Cuban, Cuba supported the FMLN guerillas during our civil war while the U.S. backed the fascist government, so I’ve always stood in solidarity with Cuba.

To continue the Chattin' 'Bout Caballeros, I just localized a fairly recent Dutch story with them for publication here (there aren't a ton of Caballeros comics; it's one of the greatest shames of Disney that they're not used more and that they opted to bury the VERY GOOD half-hour Caballeros series years ago because they were afraid it would steal DucktaleZ's thunder) — and José is sans cigar and Panchito is sans his titular Pistoles (but he does have his holsters). If you can find the old Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros or Alice in Wonderland laserdisc box sets, do so, the amount of extras puts every DVD or Blu-ray to shame. One of them was behind the scenes footage showing that "Acapulco Beach" was just the studio parking lot filled with sand with bathing beauties running around. José is also my DisneyPus icon.

I'm not the first person to say it and I'm not the last but the degradation of extras on DVD and Blu-ray is criminal. Especially Blu-ray, I remember all the ads they made just for the Blu-ray format as a whole where they would showcase promises like BD Live where you could get extra bonus features after the release of the disc like DLC or adding online leaderboards to the games they used to include.

Funny that you mention how out of date it is for Bobby to do a Carnac bit. When I was a kid, my family was always invited over to a Christmas party with all their teacher friends and each year there would be some gag that the hosts would do. One year, they did a whole Carnac bit and I had no frame of reference for it at all (nor did I get the jokes that they were making). It wasn't until watching an episode of the Simpsons probably a decade later where they parody Carson doing Carnac that the bit at the Christmas party finally made sense.

Dead In Denver

Dale sucks as a friend, but the older I get the more he's been making sense. That's a thinker

I think of this one as an equivalent to 'Like Father, Like Clown' in terms of emotional resonance. They're both tearjerkers. As a current dad, one of the things this episode hits accurately even for involved parents is finding a way to engage with kids in their own space. I don't care for Five Night's At Freddy's, Deltarune, and big chunks of middle-school culture right now; my 12yo is currently doing games in Scratch, though, and I can help with the programming and be proud of his hard work as he shares it. And I can deal with biting my comments about the movies and shows that he likes down and instead say things like "I see why you like this" or "I can tell a lot of animators worked hard on this" etc to try and stay positive about the kid's interests. Even those of us who aren't as emotionally distant as Hank can learn from this episode imo. Superlative TalKing episode as always and keep on rockin'
