In defense of glue traps, I used a type forever ago that broke down with cooking oil to release the trapped animal. And that’s what I did, catching what I believe was an entire family and releasing them into Central Park. I have no idea if those canola oil covered mice were immediately eaten (the coating probably made them go down smooth), but I gave them a shot after they invaded my Manhattan apartment.

I really love when Nancy tells John that she has a headache and he goes “So? just take an aspirin.”

I hate that the reboot put Nancy and John Redcorn back together without even a joke about why they would get back together. Not only does it go back on this episode, but there's an episode in season 11 when Nancy has to choose between getting back with Redcorn or losing her hair, and she chooses to stay committed to Dale and accept losing her hair.

I love that Nancy and Dale are both bad people that make each other happy, I find it compelling and I wish that one episode of the reboot didn’t undercut that

Nude post-coital Dale is uncomfortably reminiscent of the dying swimming pool alien Brian Dennehy cradles in his arm in Cocoon.

I hate to be a pedantic corrector but the valve hank checks at the beginning isn't hot, it's leaking. The way to check for leaks in things like valves and tires is to spray soaking water on them and look for air bubbles to come up.

I took the joke about not having sex to save your life force to be something Nancy told Dale and not the other way around.

Having rewatched the episode where Dale unknowingly discovers Joseph has a half sister, that was another way John Redcorn could've gained a family, alas it wasn't meant to be. I think between this, him not being involved in Joseph's life and sleeping around with people's wives, it's safe to say John Redcorn is just as bad as Nancy like you said, if not worse! Say what you want about Dale, but he comes out of this episode looking great!

Maybe next April Fool's movie topic could be the live action Flintstones movie?
