I was quote on quote in the end game for my time in the First Sanctuary at this point. And when I got back into the Sanctuary to chill out with Mio for a couple of days before we went on our expedition.

I could instantly tell my girlfriend was in a rather pissy mood to say the least. And remembering the end of her previous message. I asked with a coaxing tone as I held her in my arms as we rested on the couch in the quarters I rented in the Shelter.

"Did Rias really piss you off so badly?"

Mio nodded, and an utterly adorable growl escaped her as she muttered. "She is throwing a tantrum right now... Because that arrogant peacock Riser got into trouble after impregnating three of his hangers-on. The clan is torn between breaking the engagement or forcing it to go through now before Riser makes more of a mess."

Yeahhh, even in this Might Makes Right system, even in the Human Federation being engaged to be married to another and clearly getting pregnant or even a man getting other women pregnant, would cause issues.

Especially between clans of almost equal power such an insult was even more apparent. Still there was one thing that was somewhat confusing.

"Woudn't Rias just be happy to get out of the engagement? Shoudn't she just be pushing for the engagement to be torn apart?" 

To which Mio rolled her eyes and, then with a snort, she gave me a poke, my face twitching as she then said.

"Guess what happened today at the clan meeting for the clan's young women... They singled me out and happily told the rest of the dozens of women of the clan within ten years of my age who were unwed that if they wanted to choose their own path in life. Then they needed to have the same level of taste in men as me!"

"Rias, Qin Xuan, Yang Manli, and even that brat Runeas are all angry at me because their parents are demanding why THEY weren't the ones who lucked out in finding a genius who is far stronger than anyone else at his age." Mio complained with annoyance.

I was almost about to say that at least your parents are proud... But uhh yeah, Mio was very much an orphan as her parents lost their lives fighting off Shura from Federation space.

So I just squeezed Mio around the waist and said softly. "It will be ok. Once you get into the second sanctuary. Rias being annoying won't even matter to you. And the clan itself won't try to control you as much."

Which was all to true. The Qin clan was helmed even by a Demigod expert who was a woman in fact. Qin Xuan's many times great-grandmother who had set an iron rule for the clan that the strong lead and the weak obey for protection. So if the clan's women had the drive to get strong.

Then there was nothing to worry about... But Mio grumbled and said in annoyance. "Even still. Rias is a dumbass; she barely has been going hunting either. And I don't want her to die if she decides to go to the Second Sanctuary without filling out her geno points."

Mio sighed before she gently cupped my jawline to lay a kiss on my own lips. And as our kiss broke apart, she giggled softly before she said in an almost bratty tone. "But that's her problem right now."

With that kiss, things became a bit more ambiguous as we continued to make out and fool around with my hands, although staying above her clothes. I certainly did enjoy her ample curves.

But one could only squeeze the titties of their read head waifu for so long before they needed to get back on the grind. With Mio sitting on my lap with her back against my chest. I held my arms around her waist while holding up the map of Sacred Blood tier beasts she had shared from her family's information-gathering system.

"Alright, so is there any particular beast souls you want baby? If there is just point them out. I will make sure to beat them to death so you can get it." I said teasingly making Mio snort at how sappy I was being.

But I knew she enjoyed it, especially. So while she gave me a light pinch she still just pointed at a particularly marked spot. "Right there. There is a clan of water drakes in the water of there. They can spew beams of pressurized water that can cut through boulders and trees."

"But even though they have a very lesser kind of dragon bloodline. They are only as big as a really large normal serpent, even. But they have very strong scales, and their fangs are extremely poisonous." 

I slowly nodded and asked curiously. "What kind of beast souls do they drop? I assume a poison dagger one right?"

Then I blinked as Mio happily explained how these Water Sniper Drakes which were their literal name by the Sanctuary, actually dropped. Armor, dagger, consumable arrow, and even a pet beast soul as well.

"Hmm, getting you, your own pet-type beast soul would be good." I said thoughtfully. As I still needed Woody for now for transportation so it's not like I could or would be giving Mio him until it was time for us to go to the Second Sanctuary.

Then I could give her Woody so that she would have a better chance in finding a Shelter and returning to reality.

"Hmm, also how about this Centaur group as well." I asked thoughtfully as I pointed out the badly but cutely drawn skull on the map.

Mio shook her head and said hurriedly. "No! That Centaur tribe is an utter death trap! The smaller males of the tribe are alright to deal with when they run off to mess around. But the females are much smarter, bigger, and armed with bows and arrows. With the arrows able to explode when they hit a target! Even Sacred Blood tier armor can't protect your organs from the force of the explosion!"

Then she said more quietly. "Plus, the matriarch of this Centaur tribe is like half again the size of the lesser females. And she has weird bone axes that can carve through anything and when she is angry, she can activate an aura ability to bless the weapons of the other centaurs around her as well!"

Humanoid monsters in the Sanctuaries were always fairly strong and had special abilities as well. As shown in that nonsensical Angel pet that Han Sen got in the later parts of the Second Sanctuary. 

But that Matriarch... That also sounded like a Super tier creature. And one with another Aura Beast Soul. Something that you could never have enough of as Aura type beast souls were very much the rarest kind there were.

Even a First Sanctuary tier Sacred Blood Aura Beast Soul was a massive multiplier for military units fighting the Shura and other alien races. If it came down to it. I could sell one of mine for countless resources and other goodies!

"Hmm. We will have to see then." I said thoughtfully. As I knew Mio didn't know my strength yet, with how I had filled out my Super gene points. But after I tear through these Sacred Blood creatures... 

If I could help it. I would prefer to have Mio get at least some Super geno points even if I had to spoon-feed her. So that when she became an Evolver in heading the Second Level she would be all the more stronger.
