Pokemon, Multiversal Streamer Chapter 32 (Patreon)

I went into a deep meditation instead of sleeping, as I was worried about some other ghost Pokémon coming for us. 

It still let me rest properly, even if it left me a bit mentally lethargic as Hoshino Ai awoke slowly with her face slightly pale. "What happened? I had... A truly terrible dream that violently ended somehow? The nightmare just felt so real as well."

"A Haunter was trying to eat the nightmare it inflicted upon you Ai." I said with a light frown. As I was a bit miffed that Sabrina never sent me a message or anything.

Hoshino Ai was quiet for a moment before she said helplessly. "Well aren't we just unlucky then. Did you scare it off I assume?"

I considered saying that it was possible the attack was aimed at me... But if that was the case, why didn't the Haunter directly attack me instead of Ai?

Maybe it was actually just a random ass Haunter causing issues after all then?

"Yeah... I guess we just got unlucky?" I said with a helpless shrug.

Then I smiled and said with a chuckle. "Well anyway, how about we get a good filling breakfast? I need to evolve Feebas into a Milotic, and then we can go back to the gym so we can watch that coordinator event if you want."

Ai still wasn't excited about Pokémon battles themselves. She just wasn't that type of girl. She was a romantic comedy movie girl, not a thriller or superhero movie type.

Hearing my words about a good breakfast. Ai gave a wide smile and nodded before she said happily. "Alrighty! Let me put Jigglypuff into her pokeball, and let me take a quick shower before we leave!"

With that, Ai put the still-sleeping Jigglypuff back into her pokeball before grabbing her backpack and heading into the hotel bathroom. 

In the meantime... I looked at the conked-out form of Rose, who was utterly exhausted as she wasn't able to do my form of meditation rest. And had tried to stay up all night with me.

She failed to stay up all night as her concentration ran out, and she passed out like a light being turned off.

'Yeah. I can just let Rose rest for the day, I guess.' I mused to myself before I also put Rose away in her own Pokeball. Which she normally very much didn't like being put into for extended amounts of time.

Then, with a light sigh, I pulled open the streaming chat to see what has been happening otherwise. And from the looks of things.

Rias was busy training her peerage; Mayumi was in class, same as Luna, and the very same with basically everyone else except for C.C who was shitposting memes in the stream chat. 

Even Gojo was making a token effort to teach his 'how to throw hands' Jujutsu class.

Seeing as everyone was basically busy. I just waited for Ai to finish getting ready before we left the hotel and began heading towards the beach area of Cerulean City.

Once we got to the public beach, I pointed out towards the water with Feebas's Poké Ball, and with a loud splash, the derpy-looking Pokémon fell into the water with some surprise. As obviously, most of the time I couldn't drop it off in a large pool of water.

Feebas did a little swirl around in the deeper water with some clear joy at getting to be in a real pool of deeper water. Even though I was a bit worried about the fact that I caught Feebas in a freshwater river... And they were now in the very salty ocean.

But Feebas seemed fine for the moment. So I cleared my throat and went deeper into the water to meet with Feebas, to the point where the water hit my waist.

"Feebas, are you ready to evolve?" I asked as I held out the beautiful multicolor Prism Stone towards the dull-scaled Feebas.

All the while I turned on the stream. I knew if I didn't stream this, like when I forgot to turn on the stream when Rose evolved. Rias WOULD find a way to strangle me somehow. And the disappointed face of Luna was just heart-wrenching.

[PrincessOfRuination- Wooooo! Evolution time finally! Oh, it's the fishy evolving this time. Heeey Jake! You should totally name the Milotic, Kaido haha!]

I rolled my eye's even as several other's tuned in to watch as well. 

Refocusing on Feebas, the dull-eyed fish had been looking between me and the prism stone as though considering it. Considering our partnership as I had promised to help her evolve when I could.

And then with a loud glubbing noise of escaped air hitting water. Feebas swam forward and into the crook of my arm with their fins slapping my side.

"Is this supposed to be a hug?" I muttered helplessly as I just gave in and hugged the oversized fish and as I did so. Feebas put her tail fin against the prism stone, and its whole body started to glow as it evolved!

My fishy grew all too quickly in my arms. And dear fucking god, it felt SOO weird literally holding a Pokémon as it evolved. I could literally feel it's bodily mass greatly growing, I could feel its organs shifting, growing entirely new bodily organs and limbs to boot

And finally, the evolution light faded, and it was only by virtue of the various boosts in my body that I was able to lift this damned oversized Milotic that had the King Gene.

'Too heavy! I didn't sign up to have any overly attached minature Gyarados trying to smother me with a hug!' I mentally cried out as I reinforced my body with purple pyschic energy.

"Alright, alright... I can't just call you Milotic now can I? What should I actually name you?" I wondered as the water type made a melodic call that echoed her race's name of Milotic.

Now my team had two water types in Milotic and a Vaporeon... I wasn't looking forward to fighting Lt Surge next, especially. Because he wasn't the type to mess around with the challengers he got.

I patted Milotic on her head with a wry smile as she rested her head atop mine. Clearly tired from the evolution that had changed so much about their body. 

[LoonyLoveGood- The actual process of evolution is such a fascinating thing. I do wonder, however, if Hagrid would be able to make some crossbreeds of different pokemon species? I mean, they can interbreed, can't they, unlike normal animals.]

"Luna... Let's not get into the weird history of people who did marry Pokémon and had weird half human/half pokemon children. Every time I see someone here with green hair, there is a damned good chance it was the result of some dude loving his Gardevoir too much in their family lineage. And the Nurse Joy's signature pink hair is 'totally' not the result of the nurses getting porked by their own chancy either." I said with a dry tone.

Hell... Also, it was also too likely that the psychics of this world were a result of too much interbreeding with pyschic line pokemon.

I slowly then began to make my way back up to the beach as Ai and the rest of the chat also laughed at me for how I was all but wrapped up by Milotic's coils. And seeing Ai cover her mouth as I stumbled over a Shellder who was hiding in the shallow water.

I called out back. "I can't wait to laugh at you when your Jigglypuff puts everyone at the convention to sleep!"
