The Mountain Douluo Chapter 33 (Patreon)

"Tian Looong!" Ning Rongrong screamed with... Ear peircing joy as she counted the new two extra levels to her now Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda.
And the young beauty rushed to me and threw herself into my arms as she actually started crying with joy and extreme emotion.
"Tian Long, Tian Looong!" Ning Rongrong cried out my name into my chest as I helplessly gave the heiress a hug.
My helpless expression wasn't entirely just because I didn't know how to deal with Ning Rongrong either right now. A large part was how I could feel that damned Title Douluo's sense on me.
And Gu Rong, having taken Ning Rongrong as his granddaughter basically, I could feel his pointed glare at me at how Ning Rongrong was crying.
Then with a noise of swirling wind, Zhu Zhuqing herself broke through again for the last time as she clearly hit a bottle neck. And past Ning Rongrong's shorter form, I saw her activate her martial soul.
And as she got up. I saw that her cat ears on her head were a bit longer, but also she had gotten a second tail behind her as well.
I gave Ning Rongrong a helpless poke and said. "Rongrong look, Zhuqing has grown an extra tail!"
Ning Rongrong's hiccups as she got control over herself, stopped and she wiped her eye's as she pulled back. And as she saw Zhu Zhuqing's extra tail, she giggled a bit wetly and said in a teasing tone. "Hehe, Zhuqing, you better make sure you don't get that extra tail caught when you are running around, haha!"
Zhu Zhuqing rolled her eye's with fond amusement at Rongrong's nonsense. But she then refocused on me and said with a thick tone. "Tian Long... Thank you, I can't say enough how much this means to me."
I accepted the appreciation for what it was, even if I would have loved if the big-breasted cat girl had also dived in to give me a hug as well!
The room went quiet for just a moment before Ning Rongrong asked quietly. "Tian Long, what in the world was that Qiluo Tulip you gave me? How could it directly evolve my martial soul?"
I smiled helplessly as I said bluntly. "A treasure of heaven and earth. That herb is infused with the divine energy of the earth, and is purified after millennia of absorbing the energy of the heavens. Something that can only be wished for, but never found."
There was a pause before it was Zhu Zhuqing who said in confusion. "But you found it, and you found things to enhance yourself, and I imagine Wutong as well."
I chuckled, and with a shrug I answered bluntly. "A lucky opportunity, you could say. Now, besides Ning Rongrong's talent having increased to make up for her being an Auxiliary martial soul holder. I am curious if you have gotten any new innate abilities, Zhu Zhuqing?"
In answer, Zhu Zhuqing walked over to a darker corner of the room, and she fell into a dark shadow beneath a cabinet.
Then her cool voice rang out throughout the room. "Now I can merge into shadows and can teleport between shadows that aren't to far away from me."
"That's a very useful ability," I said with a firm nod. Now I needed to see if I could help her get a domain ability that could let her project a field of darkness or something.
Then Ning Rongrong shook my arm and asked in a needy tone. "Tiaaan Long, where is Tang Wutong anyway and Xiao Wu anyway? I had people from my Sect look for Xiao Wu but we coudn't find any news!"
'Yeah, it's best you didn't find her. The whole point was for her to go into hiding in the Star Dou Forest well away from any Title Douluo.' I thought helplessly. The Seven Treasure Sect was pretty reasonable for the most part.
But in the face of a walking Hundred Thousand Year, Spirit Bone? That wasn't something I would be willing to test someone's self-control over.
"She has been busy with some of her own ambitions. I will be meeting up with her in a couple weeks and will be bringing her back here to the academy as well." I explained without letting too much out.
Then I added with a truly helpless chuckle. "As for Tang Wutong... She like myself have become a complete shut-in. She has been working on her hidden weapons, while I been working on my alchemy for the last couple of weeks."
I was also curious to see what she had made at this point since she had already made the Zhuge Godly Crossbow. It was a repeater crossbow that was strong enough to pierce through a defensive Soul King's average shields to kill them.
Especially... After I told her, that she should poison the arrowheads and needles of her weapons with the stupidly toxic waters of the Yin-Yang Well.
After a moment of thought, I said firmly. "Actually! Yeah, you two wait a moment here. I am going to go tell Tang Wutong you two are here... She will probably need a bit to freshen up from the forge, so take the time to consolidate your cultivation."
As I could tell, both Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing both had unstable aura's as the heavenly herb, and elixir had pushed them from being low-level Soul Elder to near the peak and near rank 40 Soul Ancestor!
Though as I left the room and Ning Rongrong in particular behind. I could feel Zhu Zhuqing's heavy gaze on my back as I left... A much different gaze upon me in comparison to Gu Rong's gaze.
I quickly made my way over to the forges in the back of our villa and I saw Tang Wutong was grinding away at what looked like a giant needle that was covered in tiny holes.
"Tian'er? Is there something you need?" Tang Wutong said in a weirdly affectionate tone as she carefully put the needle aside at seeing me.
I shook my head at her weird tone before I said with a chuckle. "Our old friends from Shrek are here in Zhuqing and Rongrong. You should clean up, and go see them after all... Plus, you may be able to approach Rongrong to sell some of your hidden weapons."
Tang Wutong slowly nodded before she said seriously. "Thank you Tian Long, give me a few minutes to wash up so I don't smell like the forge. You go keep them company for a bit please."
