Jeongguk can’t believe he let Jimin get to him like this.

The entire unit was in the shower while Jimin challenged him to take his knot, and the entire unit saw him get hard at the idea. And now he’s on his bunk bed. Head under his pillow, groaning in shame.

This place is gonna be the fucking death of him. He’s never once looked at another alpha before this stupid camp. And now he’s known as the weirdo who got hard because of the thought of taking a knot.

Taehyung pats his back.

“It’s not that bad, I mean, Jimin does kind of look like an omega.”

“Do I?”

Jimin’s voice sounds from somewhere in the room, and Jeongguk freezes.

“Oh- Uh- I mean- just that you have softer features.” Taehyung mumbles. “I’ll uh- I’ll leave you two alone.”

“No- wait.”

Jeongguk moves his pillow, tries to grab Taehyung’s wrist, but he just misses, and Taehyung makes a beeline to the other side of the dorm.

“Don’t you dare walk out that door. Do you hear me?”

He can’t be alone with Jimin.

But Taehyung is already speedwalking away through the hallway, doesn’t even stay for moral support.

Jeongguk looks up, cheeks burning.

Jimin seems unfazed, easy smile on his lips, cocking his head.

“Care to spar?”

Spar?

Right now?

Jeongguk swallows, eyes dragging down Jimin’s signature smirk, and he feels something twist in his gut.

“On- on the field right?”

Jimin chuckles.

“Yeah on the field. Where else?”

Well.

There’s an undeniable double entendre, and Jeongguk is bad at being cryptic.

“Fine.”

He stands up.

Maybe this is what he needs, a chance to prove that he’s still bigger and stronger than Jimin. A chance to proof that he would never let another alpha take the best of him.

That whole shower thing was just a moment of weakness. Jimin’s ass had been the trigger, and that’s nothing to be ashamed of, he’s always been an ass man, and in a place like this, without any omegas, it’s not uncommon to get turned on by things like that.

The fact that he got hard after talking about Jimin’s knot.. well, was just a delayed effect;

He follows Jimin out on the field. It’s dark already, just few others sparring in the distance. The moon is up high, illuminates the lines of the sparring range just enough.

It also illuminates Jimin’s silhouette. Well enough for Jeongguk to see his thick thighs, the curve of his ass.

God, it’s honestly impossible to not find him incredibly attractive. He’s sure it’s not just him, other alpha’s must feel the same way.

“You know.. uh.. the shower thing..” he starts, once they’ve taken their place in the ring. “I- I didn’t want to actually take your knot or anything- I just-“

“I get it, no sex the entire summer, no omegas around. Gets all of us on edge, right?”

Jimin says, small grin still on his lips.

And now that he mentions it, Jimin does seem on edge. There is something about the look in his eyes, a glint in them that Jeongguk isn’t sure was there before.

“Yeah.. I guess, yeah.”

“Thought we could both use a spar session, maybe we’re just all pent up.”

“Yeah, you’re right.”

Jeongguk clamps onto it, because any other reasoning makes him nervous.

“Do you want to do whoever gets pushed out of the ring first? Or whoever has the other on their back first?”

Jeongguk shrugs.

“I’m good at both. It’s your choice.”

“Let’s do back then.”

That was fast.

Jimin seems confident too, even though he’s never once won these sparring sessions.

So, Jeongguk just nods, stretches his arms. He doesn’t miss the way Jimin’s eyes run over his body, tries to brush it aside.

“Ready?”

“Yeah.”

They both take their offence position, and Jimin counts down from three to one until they start.

Jimin does what he’s always done best, evading and escaping his grip. Jeongguk’s gotta give it to him, he is very good at that. But it also makes him so predictable. Jimin never attacks first, he waits for him to come close and then gets away.

It is tiring though, everytime he thinks he’s got Jimin, hands around his waist or shoulders, the alpha manages to fight himself free.

“You call this sparring? You’re just running.”

Jimin flashes him a grin, slightly flushed in the face.

“You and I both know I’m not gonna win if I attack first.”

“So what? You’re waiting til I drop dead?”

“I’m waiting for an opening.”

They circle around each other, and Jeongguk can smell the adrenaline in Jimin’s scent. that wildfire burning. It spurs him on.

“How boring, you’re letting me do all the work.”

He tries to get some sort of reaction out of Jimin, to get him to attack first. However, Jimin just cocks his head, eyelids sinking just a bit, eyes so sharp.

“Yeah, bet you’d like it if I forced you to the ground.”

Oh.

Jeongguk feels something stir in his gut, and his ears burn up.

“No. I just- I mean with sparring.”

“Yeah, I mean with sparring too.”

Jimin winks.

Fuck.

Jeongguk feels the heat spread to his cheeks, and he doesn’t know what to say. Instead he just goes for another attack, but this time Jimin doesn’t even fight back. He has him on his back in a second, arm pushing down against his chest, leg between his thighs.

Yet, Jimin looks up at him with that smirk, and Jeongguk doesn’t feel like he has the upper hand at all.

“You got me.”

Jimin says, moonlight twinkling in his eyes.

Jeongguk pants softly, not satisfied at all with this easy win. He looks from Jimin’s eyes to his lips, to his neck, wishes he could do something else to celebrate his victory, to make it feel real.

Jimin hooks his fingers into the collar of his shirt, pulls him closer.

“It’s boring, hm? Winning like this.”

Wild flames intrude Jeongguk’s senses, and his mouth waters with how close he is to Jimin’s neck.

“Wanna bet on it, to make it more interesting?”

Jeongguk feels his heartbeat steadily increasing, dares to look at Jimin.

“What kind of bet?”

Jimin shrugs, licks his lips. Jeongguk follows the motion, hypnotised.

“Whoever wins gets to scent the other?”
