We’re really closing in on the end of volume 1 now, it’s been one hell of a journey completing my first graphic novel and I have to say, I’m so SO grateful to all of you for coming along for the ride and for choosing to support my work, means the world guys.

Did the Wizard hack every single BME of the guys aboard the ship? It's the only way to make them see him as the other guy.

CallumStephenDiggle

It’s like a perception filter that hacks into all local BMIs, the wizard doesn’t do it manually, it’s more of an automatic process.

Here we go again! the Wizard was an anti-hero all along! It's a pleasure to support you Stephen

Since this woman is clearly taller than the Wizard, I wonder if its because she's moonborn and the gravity has messed with her bone structure? Its always those small details in page and speculations from the fans that make me smile when I see "Callum Stephen Diggle updated their post" in my inbox :) I know some people commented on how the Wizard is barely human but frankly I actually saw it as the opposite. We are terrestrial creatures not meant for space and lower gravity. Experiments in the ISS potentially even suggest that embryonic development in space might be unfeasible if not extremely difficult sans a gravity well. The wizard to me didn't appear like some alien life form covered in cables, a bastardization of our species. Instead, I saw him as the manifestation of humanity trying its adapt its hardest to survive in a place it was never meant to be in. I don't think the All-Mother is feeding into that idea of humans bastardizing themselves either- in fact its because shes so cold and inhuman that she breaks the final barrier we never seem to cross: changing our very being for the sake of survival. The wizard may be a husk, but even if he were diluted down to some software on a motherboard he'd be a thousand times more human than the actual Imperium Husks we see coming out of bugships. Its the human experience, uniquely made by being 'human' that sets us apart from what the Imperium becomes (philosophical consequences of the Chantauri and literally every other sentient lifeform in the galaxy aside:)

Uuuff...!~ That 'zero-sum' revelation hurt. If the Conglomerate delayed by a few decades / barely a century (dependent and travel / round trip times) in liberating Chiron, or our 'greater than he appears protagonist' actually got there to 'play tourist', than the Wizards dastardly plans and actual human history could have occured in 'our'/Humanity's favor. Basically, if things went better (for humanity), it would be like the 'First Contact War' of Mass Effect instead of... well the 'vision of hell' Humanity is now. https://masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/Codex/Humanity_and_the_Systems_Alliance#First_Contact_War

Good job man! 👏. Anyway, i forgot to ask, its been so long but where can we see the other cover for issue 4? I forgot about it ahead of other comics.

Miningation

Anyone else betting The Wizard survived All-Mother’s takeover?

House Hendoe

What if The Wizard is influencing the current rebellion against the All-Mother and Sam's importance has very little to do with him being the last Human? If he really is the last one...

Philip

Can't wait for more.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks Philip, I’ll be back on Tuesday, I’ve got a wedding to go to.

CallumStephenDiggle

If you go on the issue 4 tag, there’s an unofficial cover done by me, but Simon Roy is working on one right now that’ll be released on here soon. I’ll update the PDF with it too.

That’s right, she’s what’s called a Lunarian in this universe. awh thanks a lot, I enjoy seeing all of your speculations too. It brings a new dimension of enjoyment to Humanity Lost for me seeing others input and theories. damn Lázaro that was a deep comment, but so spot on! The All-Mother is both a hard disconnect from Humanity, but she is also it’s logical conclusion for the path humans chose. I like everything you had to say there, you have an interesting perspective on the wizard, one that I’ll think about more.

Philip

Thats huge.I wish you the best.
