...-PATION!

Goliver the weird Druid

Doves and Ravens are different categories of the psychic outcasts, doves see visions connected to love and life and Ravens see visions connected to death and destruction. They explained it in the first season. Wednesday is a Raven her mother is a dove.

I'm usually not for body-swap anything, but Jenna and Emma did such a fantastic job with this episode! It almost feels like they were CGIed over eachother! The immersion was perfect! They had the body language, the facial tics, even the vocal infections down! Incredible acting from the both of them! Can we... talk about the colors on the sweater Enid wore when she was parading around in Wednesday's body? Cuz... there has been A LOT of discourse about the sweater Enid wore back in season 1. Agnes earned her stripes in this one. Got torn down by Enid (in Wednesday's body), hitched a ride with a corpse, and came face-to-face with a psychopathic killer in Tyler. Legitimately, from the phonecall, I thought she might die.

Yes, all the walking in RWBY volume four is a lot to handle... ;) Despite your fear and confusion at the cold open, I am impressed that you kind of guessed the plot device before the title card. Strongly agree with writing men as one dimensional props being just as boring as writing women that way. One reason I love Wynonna Earp so fucking much - the men are as well written as the women. Did you catch the foreshadowing of the two of them arguing in front of the stained glass window, but on opposite sides? I am so glad I avoided all trailers and promos for the back half of the season because I am sure they included this twist and it is too good to be spoiled. And it is a master class in live action body swap acting. I haven't seen something this good since the Fluffy swap, or a certain use of the Polyjuice Potion... To be fair, accusing your daughter of body swapping with her roommate is something you don't do unless you're 100% sure...oh my god, now they are soulmates! There was a squeak of a shoe on the linoleum in the sound mix - that's how Tyler knew someone was there. ---- So, if you and Elijah body swapped, how would you get back at her for making a TikTok of Mosco making Hamish twerk to the Jentry Chau theme song?

"How hard is it to act like Wednesday Addams?" Says the actress who got the part to the actress who was turned down. Emma's *look* says it all.

u need to think about the fact that if someone around u switched bodies, u would just think they are acting weird today, i wouldnt even think abt body swapping, especially if i didnt know this concept exists in the world

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Also, anyone else reminded of a brilliant Teen Titans episode with this one?

I think both Emma and Jenna did a fantastic job with the body switch premise. Great work all around. I have to say though, it annoyed the crap out of me that Morticia didn't question Wednesday's behavior more. Isaac and Fran really creep me out. Agnes, honey, maybe take the stalker vibes down a bit. Find more creative outlets. I feel bad but girl. Wednesday got to wolf out, let's go! Bye Bruno. FREE BIANCA!!!

Spicy Girl

Yeah I think I know the one you met, it does give Star and Raven energy for sure

Spicy Girl

Yeah, I agree, I feel like Mortica would've noticed right away that her daughter wasn't her daughter, that was my only complaint about this episode, everything else I enjoyed.

Emma: Sure. Wednesday in Enid's body: Really?

Miranda Corvus

Morticia can see Larissa because her being Wednesdays thirteenth cousin (twice removed) is on Morticias side, making her a blood relative Being a Dove means Morticias visions and powers lean on positivity While Wednesday, a Raven's power lean more on darkness

Fitting that you couldn’t remember the boyfriend’s name. I have a feeling he’ll be completely forgotten about after the finale. Next season, we don’t talk about Bruno.

Emma did an amazing job acting as Wednesday despite not knowing about it until a month before filming this episode 🙄😅 And I feel like Morticia didn't notice Wednesday was actually Enid because they've been estranged for so long, that she's desperate for any time with her. So over looking some of the weirdness just to have dinner with her makes sense. As for Agnes not noticing, its for the same reasons but also the important fact that she doesn't actually know Wednesday. She tries so hard to be who she thinks Wednesday would like that she misses some of the more important things. Tyler finding Agnes was probably from her breathing. Fester did tell her in part one to not breathe so loud and that entire scene would have been terrifying for her. She was just in a trunk with a dead body and is spying on known killers: trying to breathe calmly and quietly was not really going to happen. Unless you're Wednesday 😆

I always mix up the names of Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe. My brain says they're alike (the names that is).

Stellar Kruize

I kept saying that throughout the episode too lol how the heck did her MOTHER not recognize?! Also, I was a bit disappointed they built up this "Enid is going to die" story arch with all the trailers only to end it halfway through the season. This was a fun episode though!

Tyler heard Anges's shoe squeak on the floor, I won't spoil but its later revealed that he does have a heighten sense of smell as well. Hydes are apex predators afterall. It also plays into a fan theory I'll get into once you've seen the final episode. As for why no one figured the switch out. It's just chalking up to people thinking its Wednesday going crackers or the affects of her head trauma. Yes it's silly but it's a silly premise so why not. A yes it's established in season 1 that Ravens and Doves are the two extremes of psychics. Wednesday, Hester and Ophelia are Ravens. Mortica is a Dove.

Joshua R

You'll also find it interesting to know that they were both very stressed when shooting this episode, so no it wasnt fun persey. They didn't want to come off as cheap knockoffs of each but also had no rehersal time because they were filming 2 other episodes. The only practice they had was on their own time studying scenes from season 1 and self tapes they made of themselves for the other to watch. They both said they freaked out when they learned about the episode and Jenna had to literally calm Emma down.

David Johnson

I honestly don't think Wednesday knows how to handle the feelings involved in *caring* about someone. So her description of the Enid character in her book is as much her lying to herself so she won't have to deal with them as anything else. I hesitate to say it, but they seem to be portraying her as someone on the autism spectrum - "hesitate," because these days too many shows go "we need a quirky character, let's call them autistic." And, as an aside, why would someone who's half wolf have trouble with fresh roadkill?

David Johnson

Since this is supposed to be in New England, and right after November 1st...dawn should be about 6:30.
