Your girlfriend has fallen for the marketing hoodwink that tries to re-label a flatbread dish that uses pineapple as part of a sweet-savory combo as "pizza". Having grown up in one of America's pizza capitals, I can attest: there's no such thing as "Hawaiian pizza". The very act of putting pineapple on what is otherwise a perfectly good pizza makes it cease to be a pizza.

Ah, the pineapple on pizza debate still prevails! You and Anne would get along, I think lol. I love the episode StakeOut, its got a lot of great humor within it. Also, fun fact, Matt Braly once stated it was very likely that Sprig has ADHD, hence his attention span comment here.

"Hop Luck" However you top, Pizza is life for some folk. Not worth dying for. There's something to be said about so many fish-out-of-water stories inevitably leading to the non-human being introduced to pizza. Poor Sprig. His hand in marriage sold off for pizza dough. I'm sure she's not so bad... if he lives long enough to get to know her... "Stakeout" Two views, young and old. Not so different after all. Heart is what they share. I love that their little takeout spot is the same one from the end credits. You should give the closing credits a full watch at some point. It doesn't change all that often, but it will certain episodes. Also, with the rustic environment, how does Hop Pop know about cool anime powers? Or did he just gain that knowledge by consuming an energy drink?

Fun note: Matt Braly’s real life cat is a tuxedo cat named Domino. Similar to Dana Terrace’s cat named Ghost showing up as Amity’s Palisman. Also, I was wondering what your reaction to the pineapple on pizza thing would be. Got a big grin on my face.

I love that the pizza actually gets a callback. Remember when Anne revolutionizes the culinary environment of the whole valley by starting a food truck with classic American foods - pizza, burgers, chili - only to realize that the Amphibians have much spicier palates than she does so her food is too bland until she starts adding local ingredients? My favorite arc - really wish that Anne as chef was a stronger through-line through the show. Remember: fake spoilers only!

Honestly I don't mind the taste of pineapple on pizza but I have a thing about textures and don't like the feeling of biting certain things, but if Im offered pizza and it has pineapple on it I'll just pick the pieces off because the taste doesn't really bother me. That being said I wouldn't actively go out of my way to eat it

For me I don't mind having pineapple on pizza if its all thats available, I just don't really like eating it altogether. I'll usually pick and eat the pineapple chunks first and then eat the pizza.

I think people get way too into thinking the production order and chronological order are the only right way of watching anything because they assume the studio always thoughtlessly shuffled episodes around for no reason, I'm sure there are examples of that, but often it's the creators of the show re-ordering airdates to create a better watching experience

It depends on the part of the country in the U.S. California seems fine with it which makes sense as they’ve come up with “creative” pizzas like bbq 🐓 If you’re on the east coast or places like Chicago or Detroit it’s anathema

Honestly, I used to love putting pineapple on my pizza when I was a kid, but when I became older my taste began to change and now I dislike pineapple on pizza 🍕 👍🏻 🍍 ❌

I forgot that these episodes were so early in the season. Like, I knew they were before episode 10, but not that they were episode 3. 3:15 - Fun fact, Kermit the Frog actually did a reaction video to the Amphibia opening and he also noticed that it's shaped like a lily pad. 7:15 - At first I thought this was a reference to the Pam's Harvestcraft mod for Minecraft, but I looked it up and the recipe for pizza is dough, cheese, tomato, and a raw porkchop or firm tofu. I personally don't care much for pineapple as a pizza topping in just general, but as part of a proper Hawaiian Pizza it's delicious. 12:09 - Heh, "cowterpillars". 23:41 - That's the exact same wall from the end credits.

Pizza is my favorite food. Ever since I was a toddler. Especially since I am autistic; it is my ultimate comfort food. However, as a result, the sensory overload hits too much if there are extra toppings typically. No peperoni, no olives, and none of those 4/5 cheese ones. A plain, cheese pizza is just right for me. However, there is one topping that actually works for me, that doesn't ruin the pizza or cause me to freak out. It's pineapple.
