"Who is this guy? Why is he here?" - So in case it was missed, Taryon was actually played by Sam Riegel during the campaign, during a time when Scanlan was separated from the team, like he is now. But Sam wanted someone else to voice the character in the show - he's mentioned that he didn't want confusion over two similarly voiced characters - so Wayne Brady is voicing him. But that's the big why of Taryon, because he is a PC character.

Plus Sam was still in recovery after his cancer surgery, so this was a very good "two birds with one stone" situation without it being forced (As you said Scan-man was away here)

Aside and based off the "my girlfriend is a furry" comment from your The Lovers reaction, is a reaction to the recent live action He-Man and the Masters of the Universe an option? Granted, with Halloween around the corner, I'd rather see a Shin Godzilla reaction just for the theory crafting of the ending. Also on Prime Video with a hilariously bad description.

I find it funny that every Reactor I’ve seen watch this Season of Vox Machina has been annoyed by or hated Tary, but I loved his character from the get go. That might be because I watched the actual Campaign first and got introduced to his character there first.

What Uvenda kept trying to say throughout was just that Keyleth needed to be kept safe. She's their leader, and anything happening to her would be dreadful, so she was trying to say she needed to get to safety or to wait and not rush into danger.

There's no shame in being beaten up by the MLP fandom! My nephew is at the GalaCon this weekend; the MLP fandom is something crazy O_O

Jessica V

Same! I've loved tary since the beginning and forget about lot of reactors didn't watch him in the campaign

SauceyRed

Man I'm so hyped for the episode 5 reaction, one of my favorite episodes of the season lmao

Geass

Masco was right about it being foreshadowing at the beginning, but not for death. Keyleth's father said he couldn't wait to watch her shine, now he can't see anything.

Ryan

Attack DURING the ceremony? Nah. Necro-ninja knows to attack AFTER the ceremony, when everyone has started to get their booze on.

Tgriff02

Tbf; in the campaign, Tary was a very obvious dark mirror of at least one of each of the other member prominant personality traits (because Sam is a troll through and through lol). That made him more funny than annoying, since we got to watch the rest of cast have to deal with a bit of themselves every time they interacted.

It’s funny how much you use to rant and rave on how much you hate Scanlin at the beginning of your journey. Now you are doing the same to Taryon while worrying about Scanlin giving they were both created by Sam.

I guess Sam just has that effect on Mosco - Question 1 for Critters: What do we think for his "other" C2 character intro will have an effect on Mosco. Question 2 (going off of that): Sam's C3 character(s -?) introduction will make her feel - I hadn't watched C3 so no idea what/how it happened / Sam's C4 character inroductiory scenes - or may or may not put it two character soon... Since (spoilers for C4) Wick is DEEP in the lion's den... Literally and I dont just mean his death boon from Teor. I dont wanna but is a likely possibility that Yanessa good on her promise if he pulls an "I wanna see them fuck up" (Oh you son of Angel, Brennan I LOVE Tsul so much)

Stressed now...oh boi!! You may want to start hugging Hamish a little more this season! 👀
