Excited to see your reaction - finally the Millie fans get to eat and they get to eat good!

David G.

I totally believe the growl was Richard Horvtiz. He prides himself as a voice actor who isn't seen as a "realistic" one but as a "character" actor. (Source: I met him at a convention in Detroit close to 10 years ago and he was really excited because at the time the pendulum was swinging away from "realism" and back towards "weird" projects that his skills were suited for.)

Suplee215

I predict that season 4 and the secret plot of all of helluvaboss is the class inequality. I can see season 3 ending with stolas and blitz together and happy and IMP becoming an avenue for the lower demons in hell to rise up socially and some of the elite demons are not happy about that. Which we already see elements of but mainly thats through the lens of Blitz and Stolas

RaisedEyebrow

Moxxie's gremlin noises when he roots through the closet sends me!

Sweet N Savory Venom

Hmm, I wonder if maybe the way that things went down between Millie and Cass is what caused Chazz to keep folks at a distance emotionally? Which is why he wouldn't put himself on the line when Moxxie really needed him? Or is that way too much character depth?

DieWinterkirsche

i hope they go full marxist with the class struggle idea :D That would be fun ^^

Craig York (Yorkie)

Yeah I always end up fidgeting when trying to focus on things, or watching things. I don't tend to do it excessively but I know for me it's one of the behaviours that happens because of my ADHD. Always have to have a few fidget toys nearby or a pen. I can never stop fidgeting with pens.

Mosco: “It would be very controversial if they got rid of it. And goodness knows the team behind this has enough hate on their hands.” Please, this topic was a war zone before the episode even came out 😭. On that note, on the very rare chance you might see this, I should’ve mentioned this in the Invincible season 4 finale but after it was revealed that Eve had an abortion, she was received with a wavelength of hate and vitriol 😓. I’m talking maybe Korra levels of unjustified hatred. I thought how they presented the scene was beautifully well done and Eve’s VA was killing it. But no, instead I’m seeing Eve get loads of bad press and get way more hate for her choice to abort a baby vs the literal space nazis who have done far worse. Sorry I just had to rant about it because it was so stupid that it needed to be addressed how much the toxic community downplayed and shamed her for something that wasn’t even easy for her.

matthew james Stromberg

This is my favorite episode of the series so far i love how we see that they fight each other is a sign of love for wrath imps also JIGSAW HIMSELF BEING IN IT WAS NOT ON MY BINGO CARD

BakaSama

This is by far one of my favorite episodes in the series. I actually got teary-eyed during the hoe down and the bit with Moxie and Millie at the end. Also, we didn’t get to fully see it play out, but we saw in Ghostf*ckers that Millie met Moxie after Blitzø recruited her for I.M.P.

Suplee215

Moxie is very needy but its a lot less toxic version of being needy. I think Cassity is a great example of how Moxie could be if he was that. Moxie needs millie's attention but he doesn't need to be the main character of the relationship or anything they do. He certainly the type to put aside he own need or wants for the baby and priority them . whichbwill probably lead to him waking at at 3 am thinking somthing not done and worrying about the little things too much

Suplee215

Mammon will explode if IMP becomes a worker co-op. Would love that. Not aure they'll go that far but can see a major change in the system

Jadyn P

I second this. I'm late diagnosed ADHD, and once I started medication I very quickly noticed I didn't feel the need to bounce my leg or drum my fingers or be fiddling with something anytime I needed to focus.

Albedo12

"Let the games begin!" Yup, also Jigsaw SINGING was not something I expected.

KylarStern1995

We were all I think underestimating Moxie. We have to remember that although he was not happy in it je was raised to be the heir to The Crimson Mafia crime family. Also any child of his may also be the heir apparent. He has also locked in several times in the show when shit got serious he turned into a cold killing machine.

KriszGamer00

Fun fact: Of course we know Tobin Bell is giving his voice to Willow and Wally's dad, but what I noticed only now, is that the spiral on his tail is a reference to his most famous character, John Kramer, A.K.A. Jigsaw.

Phoenix

She said no about the second thoughts on the baby, so the rest of the "is she gonna keep it?" talk was very confusing for me, but then I was like, well, u probably misunderstood what she meant when she said it, lol

OnTheSpectrum7342

Oh, how I wish you'd stopped and looked more at Blitzø's songlist in the karaoke bar. There were some legendary song titles in there! I can't remember all of them, but with the exception of Poison, they were all parodies of real songs with really funny titles/artists! For example instead of Panic! At The Disco, we had Lust! At The Club, and so on.

Jin

Makes sense Milly raised Sally. The parents were probably busy with farm work

Suplee215

Millie has 3 unnamed brothers. So her parents have 5 total kids. With that many kids its common for older kids to help raise younger ones.

Willow 404

36:37 Idk if you remember but (in the Ghostfuckers episode) Millie & Moxxie only met after Blitz recruited her for IMP since he already had Moxxie on the business and Moxxie was something of a fan or her work. Definitely recommend rewatching that episode because it's really not a full flashback to her and Moxxie meeting unfortunately (hopefully we get a bit of their love story) but it does briefly show Blitzo introducing Millie to Moxxie & Loona while Moxxie's already a blushing mess

L Frances

"You raised me." - So I'll say this as a trans girl with an older sibling. When I transitioned, I did feel like my older sibling was more of a parent than my pops. Mostly because my pops sucked and basically stopped being a parent after I turned 18. Sure, now we're more close friends & siblings than anything like that, but I do feel they did a lot to raise me, whether through first or second puberty.

Angelus Lupus

I think Millie raising Sally May probably has to do with their parents being vey busy with farm work, 3(?) younger brothers and Millie being the oldest. Plus looking to your only/big sister for advice and sisterly bonding after coming out probably counts for a lot - even with Ma and Pa being accepting/supportive.

Angelus Lupus

Yeah, Millie was basically saying she was a little surprised at how ready she was to keep the baby.

Phoenix_mercury

Absolutely, he's needy af but in the sense he want to help and do whatever he can for Millie purely because he loves her so damn much, he doesn't know what to do without her because he wants to be with her and help her however he can, his love Languages are absolutely acts of service and quality time, any time spent with Millie and doing things for Millie are his favourite times, one of my partners(yes plural, we're poly) is very similar to him and jfc it's absolutely adorable the golden retriever energy, I've had two hot chocolates and a coffee just because I said I was thinking of getting a warm drink, my partner knew I'd been having a rough back pain day and 5 minutes later I had a hot chocolate with marshmallows whilst he leaned against my stomach with his head on my lap(he'd noticed I'd started to disassociate and automatically worked to help ground me), I hadn't asked for the coffee I just said I felt like something different, he's quite a bit of a nerd and loves that he has so much knowledge at his disposal that he can use to help with whatevers needed, he's happiest when he's helping/has something to do(something as small as grounding me has him grinning)

bloodyshadow1

i think the implication is that since they were a farmer family the ma and pa where out in the fields working while Millie as the eldest took care of the younger kids and helped out on the farm where she could. I dont' think the parents were completely hands off, just doing their best to work the soil to provide

frameschick

Fidgeting-it's an autism thing, commonly. If you're interested in getting tested, I highly recommend it.

Ryan

The fidgeting is probably something to do with your neurospicy alphabet soup. Given how I was raised I can't wrap my head around useless husbands. But as with many things, it's probably a compounding generational issue.

Sarah H

Yeah, but fidgeting is also inattentive or hyperactive ADHD, and she doesn't love having subtitles on for stuff because they distract her, so it's quite possible she has ADHD instead or AUDHD. Getting assessed is definitely worth it in either case; it helps so much even just to know for sure, like 'this is why I am the way I am,' even if you don't pursue medication or therapies. I was diagnosed with hyperactive ADHD late in life at 23; I'll be 27 this year, and having a diagnosis has really helped me understand myself better as well as communicate my difficulties and quirks with friends and family.

Sarah H

Hand rollers and spinner rings are also great for silent fidgeting, and you can also get tactile stimulation with them. I have a smooth hand roller and a spikey one, and my spinner ring has shapes shallowly engraved so I can put my thumb over it lightly and feel those engravings as it spins. I find that I need something more solid or weighty to fidget with than paper. Plus, if I was fidgeting with a bit of paper, I know I'd get fixated on folding it a bunch of times and not focus on what I'm supposed to be focusing on, so my rollers and spinners are great. I also recently got an under-desk elliptical pedal machine to help deter/redirect my leg-bouncing and sitting with my ankles in awkward, painful positions.

Tristan N Milner

Editors, best of luck to whoever has to edit the next episode for YouTube.

Geass

I don't think they could have included Moxxie in the flashback. Not without contradicting their established backstories. They both dated Chaz, but didn't know that until the three of them were in the same room. We didn't see how they met, but we saw how they met Blitzo. He hired both of them, and they met through him.

Flyby Stardancer

Fidgeting is absolutely a thing I do!! In elementary school, one of my teachers gave me some non-drying clay to fidget with during class. And then in college I learned to knit and crochet, so those are often my fidgeting!

Corvacks

I don't know if you have seen the Saw movies but the VA for the Whackford Patriarch was Tobin Bell who played Jigsaw.

Ashley Silver

Tobin Bell has actually started making Country albums in his semi-retirement

Craig York (Yorkie)

Same, I'm always bouncing my leg, regardless of situation.

Someday Sera

I've definitely heard that growl from Dagget and Zim, that's definitely richard horvitz, not an added effect. In regards to considering an abortion as a storyline, oddly, the one place where I've really seen them take that approach, where they aren't sure if they can handle another child, or want another child and ultimately do choose to terminate the pregnancy...was Family Guy. afaik the episode only aired once, because it was, of course, controversial, but it actually handled the idea fairly well, considering how crass the show often is.

Someday Sera

Oh! and i just noticed, he has the jigsaw spiral on his tail, that's a neat little easter egg. I never would have put that together.

Someday Sera

absolutely, while watching stuff I'll often be bouncing my leg or something, and often have something to play with, I have a fidget cube I really like, it's got a clicky pen side, a roller ball, little gears, and so on. When I had a desk job I'd often doodle or play with a little foam stress ball thing we had with the company logo to keep myself focused on calls.

Someday Sera

on another note...we're seeing the roo eyes...a LOT in these first two episodes...don't think we don't notice that viv.

Albedo12

I have since been informed that although Tobin Bell can sing, that's actually Sam Haft doing a Tobin Bell impression.
