Sure but in this specific case, unlikely. Baelor is already married, so is his son, his brother Maekar famously never wed again after the death of his wife and all of his sons save for his youngest for obvious reasons is already either married or at the very least engaged/promised to another. You also have to keep in mind that lord Ashford is not anywhere near a level to be putting any of his children forward as a marital prospect to the current reigning royal family of Westeros. Lord Ashford is a MINOR lord sworn to their liege lord of their region, this being the Reach and their lords being the Tyrell family. Its not uncommon but in this specific case its NOT what’s happening, not only would it have been considered folly but potentially downright insulting to even hint at his daughters hand being up for grabs. He really was just introducing his daughter to introduce her as it is HER birthday party and these are their MOST IMPORTANT guests in attendance. It’d have been rude NOT to.

Oh he definitely is, just also the biggest (I’m punny 😭🤦‍♀️) sore loser in that particular tourney. Gregor Clegane is a monster in every way imaginable sure and him being an actual psychopath tracks when you think a lil deeper and consider that when a Ser/Knight loses in a tourney they forfeit all of their armor their weapons, supplies, and horse to the victor and have to ransom/pay from their own purse to get them back. He was furious sure but also more or less spitting in Loras’ face by choosing to slaughter his own steed rather than give it to the man who beat him (cheated to do it but still). And I don’t remember clearly but I’m pretty sure once he stomps off I don’t think we get any indication that he gave his gear over to Loras’ either and I just assume he didn’t. Literally lost and rather than be a good sport about it, honor the rules, and take the L (he had the money to get everything back) he threw a whole homicidal tantrum, disgraced himself, and flipped the bird at Loras’, his king, the guests, and anything resembling knightly honor on his way out the door. And it’s speculation on my part but Robert telling his guards to just let him go says a LOT (not speaking poorly on Robert here I think he just knew how horrific it would escalate if things did turn into a fight).

I don't think any of the lords were being disrespectful when he was trying to get someone to vouch for his identity, they just didn't remember sir Alan because he didn't leave a lasting impression on them. I like your train of thought comparing it to sports. I would compare it to fighting like boxing/mma or any other of the individual sports were if you weren't top 5-10 and didn't win anything major, in a few years no one will remember your name. Even when I try to think back to the people I have competed against I can only remember the ones that were great. Although there are a lot of people who are committed and put that work in even if they don't always end up being great. I am coming into this show completely blind so I was on the ropes about Duncan, so I'm glad he is locking in because for someone of his stature he should move about with more confidence.

Baelor is already married and has children. His son participated in the night joust. House Ashford is considered a lesser house of the reach therefore a marriage to the royal family is barely on option for them. If you peeped the conversation between Baelor and Maekar, they didn't even want to show up for this tourney in the first place.

I'm 2 years older than my brother. We were tall as kids. He was 6ft by the time he was 11. All through elementary school, when would try to play, other kids would pick on him as the tallest kid in his class. I was always defending (fighting) to protect him because he was (and still is) a big teddy bear. The constant belittling of Ser Dunk hits a nerve for me!

Oh really im an idiot cool well how about the fact I haven't seen any more than they have im watching the show for the first time along with them i dont know any more about the series than they do and I made sure to use a reference that osafa had already seen so i didnt spoil any GOT stuff for him i put it together using context clues of which they have dropped several so since you wanna call ppl names its not a spoiler if we all have the same information you dumb ass thats like 2 ppl watching a show at the same time and 1 of them figures something out from context and the other one says stop spoiling it like wtf are you even talking about

Others have already commented but please please pause more when ur talking, I watched all of your first time GOT reactions and I feel like I never had an issue with how much talking goes on until recently.
