So, people in Korea are going crazy again. Can't believe the actors had to apologize for a tv show. Like if you don't like it okay, the unnecessary hate is sooooo stupid. Like is it the best I've watched.... no, but it definitely ain't the worst.

The actors apologized not because the drama was bad, but because of the controversy surrounding historical distortion. Of course, this was not something the actors themselves needed to apologize for. However, it seems like an unavoidable practice to quell public opinion, just as it has been all along.

While I really dislike the drama and didn't think the acting was that great, the hate they are receiving for the reasons the media are stating is ridiculous. It's not the actors' responsibility to catch and address historical inaccuracy. It's the writer's, director's and production team's fault. I find it hilariously sad and pathetic that those who should be held responsible are not making any attempt at apologizing and are hiding behind the actors. I'd get it if the audience wants to bash the actors for a bad performance. That would make more sense even though performance is also partially based on direction and tone set by the director. But fine, acting is their main job. But reviewing the script and costume for historical accuracy is not. The writing and directing were the major downfall of this drama in terms of quality in general.

This drama is receiving criticism for being INTENTIONAL because it crammed in too much controversy regarding historical distortion in the FINAL episode. (So that its not banned from airing) It is practically political controversy. And the reason the actors are being criticized because of everything. props, costumes, and dialogue carries historical significance that no Korean could possibly be unaware of. (has much meaning). How they performed such a script without any revisions. It is a distortion that is impossible not to know? was it intentional? Didn't questions also arise about it? they have so many questions -_-; well i guess being a celebrity really is a tough job, and in many ways it matches the amount of money they make. They may just be following a script, but that still comes with a certain level of responsibility

Lack luster..whole drama was lacking in everything but having beautiful leads. They wasted so much time showing how beautiful the leads were that they did not build the world enough for me to believe it even exist. Villains mostly working behind the scenes...*yawn* I totally skipped the viewing and came straight to reviews. I can't even watch it again, I'm so disappointed in the script. 😅

Netizens can be so dumb sometimes. It's a fictional show, the details don't have to be accurate, it's the story itself that should be the discussion.

I'm angry at the fact that there are many people who watched this trash drama just because IU appeared. I doubt they put problematic scenes in the second half because they didn't want to be terminated early.
