Ohhhhhh Picheolin is SO BACK

You asked for it XD We checked out Wonwoo's diary first before checking out ep 53, and we are now 100% ready to tackle Picheolin album (including the last Dino track :D)

That was the reason we started this, but gosh was this one full of OG GoSe lore XD we had so much fun watching this one and catching all the wordplays, callbacks, eastereggs, references XD so good.

With that, some notes!

~16:49 : the reason why Mingyu talks about switching the lid is because the drink that was mentioned (Bacchus) sounds a lot like "I switched"e

~24:15 : Just to add one more note, the reason why this line is funny is because the term SK used to tell MG not to shorten everything was an abbreviated internet term as well (별다줄, meaning "ppl shorten/abbreviate all sorts of thing")

~35:53 : so obviously they tried their best to make it work somehow...but here's what's going on. They talk about documentaries and DK says AH! you mean "dart" because in Korean dart sounds more like da-teu, just like how documentary is read "da-cue", to which Vernon says "raising chickens" because that, in Korean, is read as "dak-kiwoo-da" (see how that sounds like "da-cue"?). Since it's an English sub, I think they decided to go with docking cuz docking also sounds like da-cue.

~49:50 : this is a similar situation. What The8 was supposed to say is "kiwoon-ee-it-da" (there is this energy) but because he doesn't speak perfect Korean, he said "kiwoon-ee-ga-it-da" which is close but wrong grammar, and so SK countered that with "ki-yo-mi-ga-it-da?" because for that phrase, adding a "ga" makes sense, and it means "there is a cutie".

~50:06 : when The8 says I don't have any, the text below The8's name changes to "oh, you had it but no more?" I actually read that out loud here because basically all Koreans know what this is referring to XD it's a reference to this very famous meme of this one guy who was asked on TV whether he has a girlfriend, and he keeps just saying " I don't have one" regardless of what the followup question is—one of which was, "oh you had one but no more?"
