TacticalDoodle and I tackle this WRV, meant for smaller wrists. At just 39mm, this Seiko auto will fit all wrist sizes. Featuring a 4r36 auto mvmnt, it represents high value for its Seiko quality and reputation. This series, probably short lived, incorporates both Flieger (WW II pilot watch), field, and dive features. Nice watch. Love the orange and black look. I started a small Zippo collection a couple of years ago, and even gifted some to Ms Wolf with Asian artwork. (She is from Vietnam) Recently added a Pabst version. I dig em, they’re fun and useful with the inserts.

Sweet watch I liked the loom and the hands, however I liked the face on the citizen a lot more. For the price id also buy the citizen, the Seiko is a little overpriced I feel. Bye the way you might have seen my comment the other day about reviewing the AR-7. If so just disregard it, because I went back and watched your video on survival rifles, and in the end you mentioned the AR-7. You pretty much said all I needed to hear on the subject. I'll be sticking with my Ruger takedown in my bok. Durability, reliability and firepower is worth the weight I suppose lol.

The diameter doesn't bother me, but that thickness is silly in a watch that small... Rather see 10-11mm. Not a orange and black guy tho. Glad to see KTM seems to be moving towards Orange on navy blue!

Second kewl baby, flag thrown. LOL…laugh as you may, the classic gentlemen’s wrist watch throughput history averaged 36-38mm. The oversized watch is modern and has decreasing popularity over the last 5 years. That said, the market seems to prefer (in sales) between a 42-44 mm, a compromise of sorts. Preference aside, there is a time and a place for ALL sizes of watches and complete collections usually reflect a variety of sizes. That was a very cool watch.

That color is killer! Wearing a 42mm SKX009J1 today. Seiko enthusiasts are usually happy to pay a little more for “Made in Japan”. I agree with Doodle about the branding of the new “5” watches.

Great WRV, I personally love the orange and black. On a side note, the thumbnail of that SOG Ultra XR reminded me that I never scooped one up. Amazon had them NIB for about $85 which is a steal so I grabbed one.... and LOVE IT! Thank you for the reminder!

I have have 10 zippos, not a collector but they look cool. I have a McDonald Douglas one from the 70s. It literally could have been used to light cigarettes to fuel the engineering or manufacturing of f-15s.
