To me, I think the biggest reason to consider a PCC is to develop a streamlined self-defense system that utilizes the same magazines and ammunition for both the long gun and the sidearm. Obviously, a PCC has a very limited range, so I'm carefully weighing the pros and cons of making that decision. Is SAWC more important than being able to effectively engage targets at longer ranges? How much would it benefit me to have one type of mag/ammo and be limited by the max effective range of the weapon versus carrying say...5.56 and 9mm and have several more options available? I think it depends on whether we're talking about ROL or WROL situations. My opinion (and that's all it is...is just an opinion) is that a sheepdog is more likely to have to use deadly force in the protection of his/her self and/or family at close ranges, therefore making a PCC a reasonable choice for ROL. However, in WROL, I think all bets are off and there's no telling what type of situations you may find yourself in. So in WROL, I'd rather have an AR-15 with some optics along with a reliable sidearm. Just trying to reason my way through this whole process. Does anyone agree/disagree?

The very first thing I noticed was the missing scotch tape. My next build is going to be a AR pistol, but it won't be a PCC, I am looking at parts for a 6.5 Grendel.

Right now I have a Beretta 9mm with a can for home defense. I could see switching over to a ar9 with a can for more stability and the 30 round fun sticks.

Nothing better than the rants. Also wait for the Aero fanboys like me to start raving about their PCC when it launches this summer
