Bib Fortuna looks freaky on tabletop.  We get past that and consider the blue titanium ZT 0393 with TacticalDoodle.  When we reviewed this knife it was $180, not too bad of a price.  But now it's out of production and costs have gone up for this US produced blade.  Some other reviewed and xlnt ZTs below, also consider those Piranhas, very xlnt and cheaper.

Hey LTC, what kinda mind thinks up these nightmares, YIKES !!!!! Rick from IBM

i dunno if I can buy another ZT after seeing their catalogs for so long. I'm not fat enough, I don't have enough arm tats, and I don't work in L.E. so it seems they have little interest in me owning them. I need to either get a tribal pattern up my neck and arms, gain 150 pounds and grow and meticulously, obsessively groom a van dyke goatee. Eh, I'll just buy microtech

KRV for a rainy afternoon, thanks Nutn and TD. Pretty knife but it just doesn't hit my 2nd cool trigger. TactD, how about rocking us with some tactical bib overall reviews? Some of the hunting bibs are actually pretty nice. Rural life is a comforting way to live in my opinion, glad to hear you are exploring life.

Adam Peters

Yeah, Hinderer 2 screw pocket clips are terrible. I swapped to a deep carry on my 0393SW. Nice to see TD back again.

Greg Malcom

Love KRVs! Thanks Nutn and TD!

I think you guys nailed the review. I bought the 0393 a year or so ago because it was beautiful, had 20CV steel and it was on sale (I want to say about $165). I never carry it. It's just not a user. It's a show piece, like you said. It's also hard to flip and then why have a flipper?!

Adam Boyd

Enjoyed the rare ZT review. Know what's even more rare? A TNP Steel Will krv. You should do some. Just sayin!

SURVIVOR

@nutnfancy awesome knife but WAY out of my price Point for a blade. I did have a question for you though. I recently purchased your very cool dumb ass civilian hat and unfortunately at 5’2 and 120lbs I’m to freakin small and it ain’t gonna fit. Is it worth your time and cost to manufacture a smaller hat for us little ppl 😉

Paul Griech

I pulled the trigger on a Benchmade bugout and a Gerber Empower so unfortunately I won’t be interested in this but I love the knife reviews!

Doodle there's a guy named "Mars_Is" on the community page going off like a dip shit in comments like he's on regular YouTube. Which of course is the nice thing about TNP patreon most of the time we don't have to deal with that behavior here. I can not only speak for myself, but most everyone else here the reason we love TNPP is everybody here is respectful and like minded where we can have debates over stuff like adults. This "Mars_Is" is acting like a troll trying to pick fights and being borderline racist towards Pedro, which that type of behavior we all agree shouldn't be tolerated.

Awesome review, ZT’s are so hard to justify. I can appreciate the made in the USA though!

Tacticaldoodle

Not so much. It was a pain finding anyone willng to make those ones at all. I had a buddy who was working pretty close with a company willing to take it on over there, and I scraped in a fair bit under the lowest quantity. We tried to make the sizing an optimal one so it skews a little bigger, It barely fits my skull but I'm an odd XL. We're thinking about doing more stuff but quantity is a lot to get and keep. I don't think I wanna grab 10,000 hats. They really hated my run and it was laughably small.

Tacticaldoodle

I uh... can't find the community tab in studio. It comes up empty since we've never done an image/caption contest. Is it in the discussion tab on the channel?

Mike R

I don't see anything listed as discussion on my patreon account, when I log on to patreon using say Safari there's the three tabs when I click on the TNP patreon page. As "Post" "My Membership" and "Community" when using the patreon app they're listed as "Overview" "Post" and "Community" Maybe if you have a personal Patreon account you can use that to the Community page and you should be able to see it there. It's like the 3rd post there Titled "Don't Care"

The first two minutes gave me a great laugh session before bed, thanks for that. I'll watch the rest later...zZz

Great knife review. I believe ZT is a high end Kershaw. Some of my first EDC knives were Kershaw like the Volt II and Oso Sweet. I've since moved on to Cold Steel and Spyderco. Thank's for the pro tip on the WD-40 for cleaning exhaust tips.

Rob B

How about a t-shirt listing all the TNP acronyms and their definitions? On second thought, you would probably need two different shirts to have enough room for all of them.

Gregory Hines

I have used a Lansky System for about 35 years. It keeps my knives plenty sharp. Though I do carry a utility knife too.

Jordan Embry

I got this knife on sale for $168 and largely agree with the review. It's definitely a second cool knife for me, the harpoon swedge, two tone blade and great coloration. My biggest complaint is that you have to close the knife about 20% to get the blade to drop shut.

Sheepdog

Nice looking knife. I have a Kershaw Ferrite 1557TI that's also a Hinderer Design. It's a value offering from Kershaw in 8Cr13MoV for around $35-$40. Stainless Steel frame lock in Titanium colored paint with the Hinderer locking bar stop disc. It's one of the few knives I have that I don't think has been Nutnfancy reviewed or approved. It has a cool blade shape and the overall looks of the knife check the 2nd cool box for me. Not that it needs it as It's totally competent in the 1st cool category. Thanks.

Racing Psychosis

I'm still onboard with the Kershaw Natrix for my EDC beater of choice, which is a cheap knock of a ZT.

Bluegill097

Tuned in to the KRV just for the embedded WRV... and to be honest, the implied Star Wars references. Nailed it !

David Reiner

I think I have aichmomania. And now I get 50% discount from Spyderco. I have so many knives already. Guess I'll order anither... lol

Eric J Beggs

Bib Fortuna is a weak minded fool... just saying.

Steve

I had that star wars guy way back when. The dog chewed him to pieces. Nice to see the Crux make an appearance, definitely one of my favorites!

A Random Walk

Funny story...Me and a cousin paid once to see Star Wars but ended up sitting through 3 showings. We were 10. Parents called the police who then found us at 8 in the evening while on our walk back home. My ass still hurts from that little escapade.

Tacticaldoodle

It's still funny to me thinking of how a kid in 1984 would try to complete his collection. THe guy's head is a buttcheek or testicles, named Bib Fortuna. He's the alien vice capo of a desert town's drug kingpin who tries to molest the princess character. But he can be yours for only $1.77 at kenner toys!

Tacticaldoodle

There are a bunch of kershaws in the lower cost brackets that are tempting. They reshuffle the catalog enough that we never get a feel for what ones stand out. I'm the odd guy who doesn't mind 8cr for some blades in the collection. As long as I have a couple that wear better I'm willing to put up with increases mx intervals for stuff I'm using.

Tacticaldoodle

It's a bummer we aren't getting movies that good lately. If you just look at some of the summers past you could argue there were 4-5 excellent ones released. Even our war movies pretty much suck now. We were lucky with 1917 at least. If only there were more fans of BoB to keep it going there are too many stories to make.

RowdyRon

Piranha - yes, ZT - not so much. They do look well put together though. Glad TD made it to AZ! Give me a shout if you're ever down towards LAFB.
