Let's check out the very interesting CRKT Seismic. More proof that Columbia has awaken from its long slumber to make cool, new designs. Its a bigger knife and does have some weird quirks I'll cover here. An interesting, probably forgotten Kershaw size comparison emerges.   CRKT Seismic at Pro 2A BHQ: https://shrsl.com/2z9ho S

Two vids in a couple of minutes!!!! Send it brother man!

NatvMan

Double Feature Wednesday. Keep up the good work Nutn!

Connor Murphy

Two vids! Rockin'. While I'm still super sad that the company was sold, I thought I'd mention that under new ownership Cold Steel brought back some discontinued classics like the Talwar and Nachez Bowie.

Cool knife. I got their Clever Girl last year. It has D2 and I think it's their best with a deadbolt. Plus I can't get enough of persian blades. Oh btw, have you seen CRKTs Ritual? What a beastly blade!

Bravo

Sweet looking blade, wish it was a bit lighter tho prob won’t look further upon this knife than this vid. Also I think you meant hollow ground when you said FFG. We know what you meant tho bro 👌 keep the vids commin!

I need to know where you're buying your watches, Nutn. I know you didn't pay no $600 for that Atacama. Come on, man! Tell us where you're getting the deals.

Rob B

Nutn, Civivi is the budget brand of We Knives. Sencut is the new budget brand of Civivi. Amazon sales mostly. $40ish price point for 9Cr18MOV flippers with ceramic ball bearing actions. No, I don’t own one. Yes, I would love to know what you think of them as a budget option.

DuginIN

I also like the locking mechanism. Let us know when you see the right knife design with it. I’d like to add one to my collection when CRKT gets it right.

Moe Mansour

Perfect clip. But I think the next step for manufacturers is to make flush clip screws standard. The clip goes over thick material nicely but then the screw tears your pocket on the way in/out.

David Goodridge

Don’t google it, but do you know why Japanese planes had yellow leading edges?

The Nutnfancy Project

Oooo I need to check that out. Guys also want a Kershaw Strata XL review so that's on the list too.

The Nutnfancy Project

If you check out my original Atacama video, I tell you about it's crazy deal. I had bought it from Amazon for about $200; if I see these deals I do Tweet them out (Gab too now). A fair amount of TNPP got it then too! Sorry you missed it. And no I would not pay $600 for it. Watch tonight is the TW Steel.

To improve identification during head on attacks.

Yeah for that price the blade steel kills it for me. I've had lots of knives in 4116 over the year's and not one would hold an edge worth a dam. With it being only 4116 id be sharpening it a lot and the lack of a significant flat on the blade makes it more difficult on my EPA. I could forgive the blade shape as I've done on other knives if the steel can hold and edge moderately well.. The innovation in the blade lock is really cool hopefully we see it used on future models.

IndianaBen

Miss on literally every aspect. Let’s not exaggerate an unnecessary lock design. Different can be fun but often not useful, much less better.

IndianaBen

Nutn, how bout a quick update on the Glock 34 Gen 5 with the elimination of the open top slide? That was your only critique on previous gens.

Andrettski

"Nutn you wear 6.6 oz watches!" that was golden. I really like that paint scheme on the Japanese fighter, I'd have never guessed about the yellow markings on the wings, Thanks David G. I'm intrigued by the Seismic but it did sound like it dented the table when you set it down. Back to vid at 3:45 mark only.

I agree with Nutn being "a little perplexed." Everything about the new CRKT stuff with the deadbolt lock excites me EXCEPT for the blade steel. I really wish they'd jump up a tier to CPM154 or S30V. Even VG-10 or 154CM would be better... Especially given this is a $99 knife from China... A Spyderco Para 3 lightweight which is made in the USA is $119 and has CTS-BD1N which is a better steel.

Daniel Herb

Agreed, Ill wait till gen 2 or gen 3 before getting one. Great innovation on their part tho.

Zak Orendorff

What’s also great about this knife is that you can adjust the pivot with one of the those screws on the show side.

Jeremy doblinger

Dang that sucker is heavy. Sweet looking blade
