Panzer Arms M4 Shotgun: When Cheap is Bad (Patreon)

Sometimes you get more than you paid for... mostly you don't. Highly touted in some circles on the internet is the 12 ga Panzer Arms M4. It looks almost like a Benelli M4 and because of this guys are drawn to it. Supposedly it shoots well and can save the Benelli worshiper a bunch of money. Well I get one on loan from TNPP "Dave" (thank you!) and take it on several outings.  

Maybe this is one of those times when a cheaply priced items blows our minds with its performance. Then again maybe it isn't.

Heres what I dont get. Why would anyone get the M4 over the Beretta 1301? We have had a 1301 in the family for Decades... and we may have had 2 rounds that just would not fire. If you want a Semi Auto, Beretta is just about the fastest, smoothest action I have found. Sure, the benelli has a "Pump" backup, but there is another active youtuber talking about his issues with his bran new $2,000+ M4. And its been sent back to be fixed.

That made me grin and wince on David's behalf. Thanks for the honest SGRV Nutn. A 930 would be my choice simply because I already run Mossy 500's.

FN SLP was the shotgun I went with, but it too needed loctite for the rail and the buttstock bolt.

If someone gave me a Panzer M4-gery I might never speak to them again. I guess it's very 2020/2021 in that it helps you conserve ammo.

Since you are an adventure channel too. Can you do a Yildiz SxS, O/U, or the Yildiz semi-auto? Intent of the video would be upland/waterfowl hunting.

its funny i know 3 "turkneillis" sold in canada, 1 (canuck) is amazing, the sultan is ok and the third one that keeps getting the name changed is a flaming POS. I wonder if the panzer arms is the american branded vs of this gun.

My buddy got the stoeger and it had a couple jams at first but after a couple boxes of 3" the gun ran 100%. Can't say the same for his shoulder...

I’m in alaska, and I’m an idiot I forgot I got a beretta. Didn’t see any benelis here either. I’m not a big duck hunter, but got tired of swapping out my barrel on my mossberg 500 as it’s set up for home defense for the wife.

I did the project/chase thing with this gun and did all the upgrades. In the end I should have bought a Mossberg 940 JM Pro. Oh well, lesson learned.

Even though this was a negative review, I enjoy the shotgun vids. Growing up hunting in Iowa, the shotgun is second nature to me, more so than rifles and handguns. Also, thanks a lot, now I feel as if I need a a FN SLP!
