Spartan Blades Harsey Dagger

That's a sweet dagger, but for me i'll stick with the sog agency. I purchased one in 2011 for 130$ after watching your review because i was looking for something cheap to use as a beater to save wear on my randal model 1. the sog is my dedicated motorcycle blade with the leather sheath zip tied on the bike and i take it out to admire it about as often i take it out to use it. great blade i wish i had bought a few of them.

Awesome dagger! Not really useful for anything I do, but it’s just cool. That sheath is kinda ridiculous looking though. The price is bonkers, but I guess it would look nice in the collection? Great review dudes.

5:10 in, thats a beautiful knife. I havent invested in a quality fixed knife yet.

Yikes the price! Nope.

Spartan knives has upscaled their product line over the years to increase aesthetic for many collectors. I EDC a Spartan Blackfoot in rotation when going low profile/low probability. Given current state of Marxist infiltration and liberty degradation, EDC has increased to fixed blades. The knife is very enticing, but the late hour requires insightful purchases and cogent action. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

I love the 2nd cool! I've been dagger crazy as of late.

2026-09-15 18:00 Bill Harsey is the cheif designer for a lot of the Spartan Blades...he is also responsible for quite a few of the best selling Chris Reeve Knives, including the Green Barret/Yarborough. He has a very distinctive design language and everything he has a hand in brings a premium. In the grand scheme of things, he is among the top designers in the world of low number production knives and his are some of the most affordable. They aren't for everyone and most people don't buy one of his blades for their first knife...it's a blade to work up to as a knife nerd.

Racing Psychosis

I hear you on the tinnitus, no pun intended, 24/7 for me super loud in the left ear on top of being 100% deaf in that ear from a Vestibular Schwannoma, which also wiped out my left side balance nerves.

Shawn Kuse

Purdy knife, but I will spend my $$ on a large Sebenza instead!

Garrett Dismukes

Score of the week for me is a Winchester 1300 defender. I bought it at a estate sale foe $125.

A watch, a knife and Tactical D in one day??!!!

"Given current state of Marxist infiltration and liberty degradation, EDC has increased to fixed blades." Oooo I'm using that David, I like it

The Nutnfancy Project

And these expensive blades sold out pretty quick so he's popular with the collectors as you note, thanks Aaron

The Nutnfancy Project

OOooo RP, you have it worse than I do. I have it in the left ear and I've just learned to live with it

One other thing, Bill Harsey is a great human...a real man's man. He's all Carhart and Hickory shirts. The guy knows more about running a chainsaw than just about anyone I know and is very kind. If you ever run into some older, unassuming gentleman at Blade that looks like he just stepped off the back of a crummy in Fire Camp, that just might be Bill.

To dang rich for my blood.. I agree with doddle 160$ or less.. fricking sweet looking blade tho

I'm so happy you've finally got your hands on a Spartan blade!!! The Harsey is a sweet dagger, and really hope you review more Spartan Blades, especially the fixed blades. Love your content as always, been watching since 2008. Your videos helped me choose the right firearms and gear for myself. Keep getting after it Bro!

Daggers do have that niche coolness! I don’t have any myself but I think they are cool. I do have the Glock field knife… just been having trouble sharpening it lately lol
