I'd be happy if someone gifted the Cold Steel 1911 to me, but there are just too many other solid offering out there from Civivi, Kizer, Kershaw, etc. in this general price range that make my leg tingle. Thank you, your Lordship, for the sneaky peek at this one.

Seen this one a bit ago and I definitely did think about it. Love 1911s but idk just doesn’t do anything for me lol. I will admit I dig longer blades anymore. Thanks for the vid Nutn!

Ryan Reese

You guys nailed it! Fun, fast KRV. I whipped out my Browning Black Label 1911 at the start of the video and BAM, TD mentions it. I’ve held the CS 1911 and I wasn’t impressed, it seemed like an afterthought by CS. The Browning is way smoother and more enjoyable to open but I still don’t ever carry it. Lots of shard edges and it’s kind brick like in the pocket. Way cooler design though.

Dawson Rabb

Looks like one of those gun show cheepies

Bravo

Yeah when I first saw that blade come out my first reaction was super meh. I like 1911’s a lot but the knife just seemed like one of those new cheaper made cold steel knives that deviates form their usual super strong knives. Loving was the highlight in this vid for me. Absolutely love my kobun, had it since I was a boy and still sees every day use inside of a coat pocket. Defiantly should pick up another one some time soon

A 7-minute KRV??? It was over before you even got warmed up. Where's the rants? Where's the megaphone? 📣 Where's the competitive options? Where's the mini-toy review of the desktop decorations? Where's the wet burrito farts? TD didn't even make any jokes! Come on, now. This KRV will be forgotten and lost in the ocean of knife reviews on YT. It has none of the characteristics that make TNP unique and interesting to me. I've already forgotten what knife you were reviewing. Repent and do better.

Keanu Alfaro

Great review yet again! Thanks Nutn and TD

Lon N

Always up for a KRV...Thanks Nutn & TD. That has the aura of a $12.87 Ozark Trail multi-tool....more of a TSA baiting disposable type POU.

Todd Strelka

Nice review. Cold Steel could improve the design. I like my other Cold Steel knives better. Thanks!

Ryan Reese

Lmao! I don’t miss the wet burrito farts. But it definitely could have used one of TD’s 5+ minute laughing sessions. Let’s hope that this is just part a bunch of videos that they’re knocking out when TD is in town. Ready for more!

Greg Malcom

Love KRVs! I bought one as soon as they came out. Didn't like it at all. Just a strange knife, hard to say why. I guess the overall thought on it is that it should be a $20 knife. For the money, you could get a Tenacious. Mic drop.

Downtrodden

No Tisas or ATI on the table? Okay I’m just glad Nutn’s letting my wallet rest so I can work on ammo replenishment.

Christopher B.

I suspect there was a burrito fart at 1:11. I don't know why there's a sudden edit there. The farts are normally celebrated, sometimes even enhanced or added in post production.Maybe TD's comment was too extreme for public consumption?

Patrick Brichta

Admiral Lock-bar! Ha! It's a trap! I feel like the cold steel line has grown a bit stale. I have quite a few fixed and folding, and rotate them regularly. I may feel the last couple years have been a miss.

RowdyRon

So glad to get a KRV today. I needed that. Hey Nutn, have you ever handled a Medford knife? I've been looking hard at a few online, and man do they have some sweet blades. Almost exclusively second cool, but it appears that they do have a decent amount of function as well. Thanks Nutn!

Adam Boyd

Agreed. Not what I expected for the first krv of the month on the 27th. Way to mail it in. Not xlnt. Suck less.

Jude Torres

Yeah, when it’s open it looks disproportionate and a little odd, bit of a miss.

Jude Torres

Hey, I live near Medford, never heard of that I’ll look it up.

RowdyRon

Sorry about that Jude, I should have clarified. I meant from Medford Knife and Tool. That's a mouth full, so most just call them Medford. They're based in Phoenix Arizona.

kawicheater

Ha! Grew up calling him Captain Calamari

Richard Leonard

I don't like this knife. But, when I saw the Roach Belly knife in a KRV, I ordered one the next day. Thanks Nutn and TD.

Andrettski

R.R. I thought he was being sarcastic at first, but.......

Andrettski

This knife is exactly why we need a Cold Steel/TNP collaboration and massage this, I'm gonna say it...POS knife. And I like Cold Steel knives for the most part. Thanks Boys for the short and honest KRV.

Andrettski

Where's RED SONJA when we need her?

cody white

Definitely great vids especially birthday gift ideas or Christmas gifts 🎁. Can you review the kershaw chill blade 3410?

Carioca

Medford's look amazing but $$$$$$. I have a Praetorian Ti on my wish list. Where it will probably remain unless I get divorced...
