If your'e in the SLC area please fire me off a Patreon message here if I can loan this gun for review. TNPP (ie you guys) have been asking for one. I suspect it's accurate, reliable, and adequately light but desert testing shall reveal all. Its M16 bolt carrier group made (Young Manufacturing) and improved HMB bolt (eliminates the pass through cam pin hole).

THIS GUN, if you buy one please let me know>>  https://alnk.to/4fLrKqE

They're quite nice IMHO. Hopefully, someone near you can hook you up.

Looking forward to that review....

I’m here to start an argument. “Forward assist”… 😎

Silas Porter

Long live Stoner, long live the slick sides!!

Aaron Martin

Ian & Karl did a good job on this one, it’s cool!

James Young

Brownells BRN180 is more interesting

James Mabe

Let me start off with I built one of these before they built one of these. So what would Stoner project is from 2018 this gun is from 2020 in between 18 and 20 I built one it's kind of a price point one of these it does have the pencil 14.5, the lightest carbon fiber 10-in free float handguard, and I think I'll be out there in March fingers crossed I can bring it with me if I drive. The things in which I need to add is a PDQ lever and maybe the JP captured spring those were items that were high price point for what they provide in my opinion. I do not know if this helps

Mark Horan

Sounds like I will have one similar to Zachary's. I have everything except for the barrel. Just ordered the Faxon pencil barrel tonight. Hopefully, I will have mine put together before you review. Aero precision parts, Rock River trigger, and light weight - slim inexpensive aluminum handguard.

Mark Horan

Can you run this against your Kel-tec SU16

Ryan Reese

Ready to see the review to. I have a KP-15 lower headed to my FFL now. 🤙

I think you should post a full wish/bucket list of guns/gear you'd be interested in reviewing, and dont hold back on cost See I appreciate value as much as the next guy, but Im not a collector, and I dont mind spending $$$ if its worth it and I am confident in my purchase. I'd prefer to have a smaller collection of higher quality things. While many manufacturers are eager to lend out high end products to "safe" reviewers, it can be hard for the viewer to find trusted reviews of more expensive items. I have a few nice things I'd be willing to lend and I'm sure others do too. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Definitely interested in seeing how the WWSD and BRN180 do in the desert.

Andrettski

I watch 90% of all TNP reviews since like 2012 or so, as I would this review and likely enjoy the vid as always, but personally wouldn't be interested in owning this or the BRN180. Rather spend my $'s on other things.

Rupanrx

I’ve got two inspired builds with similar stuff. I ended up using 14.5” barrels with pin and welds on both. One with a titanium red dot and metal magpul buis. That one weights 5lb unloaded. My fav rifle setups. The BS thats going on in my state, if I sent you a rifle I might not be able to accept it back.

James Young

The reason I say this is because the BRN-180 is like a cheaper version of the Sig MCX Virtus except it has a side charging handle. Would be curious to see if it is comparable

Jonathan-James

Ive used them on service rifles and civilian platforms. Not often but enough that I appriecate them. And it hasnt caused me any problems being there.....I mean, how dare you question the military standards of our Governing powers!!!!Grrrrrr ruff ruff ruff!

Joshua Pulliam

I’d love to see this reviewed by you. Also, if you do get your hands on one please have Mrs. Nutnfancy shoot it. Or please comment on the LOP for shorter shooters. When I do get an AR I want my 5’ 2” wife to be able to shoot it as well.

TRJ

I don’t have one but I’d love for you to get your paws on one for a good evaluation. Very interesting and reasoned philosophy Ian and Karl had specing it out.

Zachary Jackson

Side note, you guys seeing the streams from the freedom convoy in Canada right now? Epic!

Tommy F

Looking forward to the review, I built a WWSD inspired almost a clone. Mostly the same except 14.5” Faxon pencil barrel, V7 titanium gas block and V7 titanium brake. It weighs 5.5 lbs with an empty Pmag no optic. 5.13 lbs with a mini ACOG.

Cory Risseeuw

I have the lower. It is pretty good. I need to weight it and see how much weight you actually save.

RB

Don’t you mean “borrow?” ;-)

Andrew H

Highly looking forward to this gun review

Solid note for patriots; free speech is a human right granted by the creator., the Constitution merely acknowledges that right. The time to be quiet and live a quiet life has passed, if you wish to retain your human rights.....all of them.

Cyberstump

This will be my most anticipated gun review of the year, without a doubt.

Mike R

Kyle Rittenhouse used it in a real would self defense scenario, that’s good enough for me I’ll take it.

Craig

I only have a poor man's WWSD AR15 I built.

John Krywy

Can’t wait to see the review. I have a light AR built off a KP-15 lower. Did it for an outport that management doesn’t want to put long guns at (back up would be over an hour away)… but have coworkers I question that now go there.

Joseph

This is going to be an EPic review!

Kirk Fickert

I just built a rifle on a KP-15 lower, 16" Faxon Gunner Barrel w/pinned gas block, Aero slick upper, Toolcraft C158 DLC bolt, 15" light weight aluminum handguard and YHM Phantom QD flash hider, . With Burris RT-3 3x Prism optic it's 6lbs, 1oz. Should be 6lbs even when the 3xPA micro prism gets here as its supposed to be an ounce lighter than the Burris RT-3. Had I gone with the 13" handguard it would be under 6lbs with optic.
