I want to swing back to backpacking and camping items reviews a bit. Some may be quick ORs, some in field. Which most interest you or do you just want the current content flow? Thanks guys!

Guns guns guns baby

Chris Fischer

I'm a fan of gun reviews but I also like camping stuff

Grant Loan

Would like to see more camp cooking gear reviews. Especially in field while cooking something.

Brendan

I was actually just thinking about how footwear in general is something rarely if ever covered in TNP.

Sean

Time to spend some more money on camping gear!

Buff Orpington

I’m in the market for a good pair of boots. Hard to find these days! Team boots for the win. I have some cabelas brand hunting boots and they’re great, but they’re also HEAVY. Doesn’t matter at first, but if you’re hiking miles hunting it’s unideal

David Maloney

I loved the quick Kelty tent review. Anything you do that's heavy on POU discussion is what I gravitate to.

Donald Barajas

The gadget stuff would be cool. There's always that "hey I didn't think of that" aspect to gadgetry.

Caliiiman

Shoes and clothes! Hard to find brands worth supporting nowadays

Nathan P Hubsch

Boots and clothing, most overlooked items, but most important, especially for weight. We over dressed for the weather on a mountain hike once and the wife couldn't make it, probably an extra 5 pounds of jacket and hoodie that we didn't need.

Joshua Pulliam

Laser rangefinders, boots, waterproof/insulated gloves.

Zachary Jackson

I guess at this point, knives is a forgone conclusion hahaha.

William Mann

I’d say food prep, cooking and water procurement and filtering. Also it’d be great to highlight made in USA products.

Joseph

I want to see more backpacking adventure videos or motorcycling, maybe shooting in the desert. Love the reviews. But my favorite content is the outdoors and Philosophy vids

Maggies_Drawers

Sleeping bag review idea: Military MSS vs Commercial Offerings? Enjoyed the Tent Quick RV.

Not SAWC

I just went cold weather camping (5° F) with wind chill. I didn't freeze, but I paid for it. I need a system that will work down to that temperature and keep me comfortable. I know Nutn has touched on this in the past and I watched those videos. If he can make a video using some more recent products it sure would help me next time.

Daniel Gray Webb

Lighting and gadgets are always great. Other large camping gear just doesn't interest me because it's so personal to budget, situation, and climate. There's also a ton of different ways to set up your campsite too depending again on your situation. So, I just don't find those really applicable to me. I did like the series on how to haul your gear, that was super interesting.

Drew Cox

Anything backpacking is excellent to me. Guns drew me in to TNP, the backpacking vids changed my life!

Mark Horan

I voted guns since that will most likely get misted views. Like mentioned by someone else, gadgets I did not know about would be interesting.

DirtyPhil

can we add sleeping pads to the bags discussion? Inflatable vs roll, insulated etc.

IndianaBen

All the things. And perfect timing! I’m planning some light/truck camping around my property and some state parks this summer and fall. Just temperate Indiana weather, and nothing way out in the wilderness. But that’s a huge chunk of the market/demand. Don’t need extreme duty gear, just high value high function stuff to help me get my growing boys out in the woods more. I don’t have a ton of experience with some of this type of gear, Nutns perspective is extremely valuable.

DirtyPhil

also have any of y’all tried these newer coast lights? I know Nutn is a stage 11 gear clinger to olight (i like and have a bunch as well- o’pen pro at work specifically) but they have some interesting offerings-

Jeffrey Brener

Group camping and how it would relate to a bug out situation. A lot of us probably have some kind of B.O.B. ( Bug Out Bag) and we have gear for a solo mission. I’ve thought a lot about a group bug situation and how it would turn out. Cook kit, sleeping, bathroom, security, ect. I know you’ve done “REASONS NOT TO BUG OUT” You have a great insight on group camping, make a vid on how it relates to group shtf bug out. (Armored GUY)

David Wallen

I like all of it but boots are so specific to the person that I wouldn’t go deep into one single pair. Maybe a web search of multiple brands and talking overall impressions would be helpful though.

Peter Balint

All please, raw edit, ‘08 style, no music, no inset footage of websites, just deep POU and stuff. Heck bring back the old printed talking points. Those were the best of the best reviews

DirtyPhil

How about we set up a cross country trip for Nutn where he can make various stops and stay with willing patreons- we can set up some local overnight backpacking trips and test gear and equip?

Metal-Militia

Very cool. I love the outdoors reviews, brothers and sisters.

IndianaBen

Absolutely. For both EDC/temperate hiking, and cold weather. I’d be especially interested in: Lowa Salomon Merrell

IndianaBen

Good call, I’ve been surprised to never see Coast on the channel. They have some quirks, some are bulkier and heavier than competitive options. The G20 penlight is like that, but it’s freaking indestructible

Bryan Palmer

Tough call... I'm personally interested in all the above except for snow gear... just because of my local climate.

D Ren

Just being outside telling us how awesome the papoose is! I love the videos where you're just out and reviewing accouple things here and there but mostly just out enjoying the outdoors. A good rant here and there. Also since yall have done a few revolvers' recently Id like to see a review of the Charter Arms Pitbull's that fire different calibers without moon clips, those have interested me.

Paul Kwiatkowski

Stuff that makes hiking and camping fun and keeps me alive despite my mistakes and short sighted planning.

Jon GA

Please more aviation videos, especially GA and Cessna 172 videos.

Onewizeguy

Nutn- I appreciate that you’re generally focused on being value-minded with gear. Regarding hiking boots however, I’m not averse to paying-up to keep my feet alive. Seems like a long-term review- just some input for planning.

Mike S

I'd be curious about hiking boots since I'm planning a hike out west later this year.

SirAleric

Let's see some hiking boots, Nutn! I am curious about the Lowa Zephyr model. I.E. they're any good for long rucks or runs

Paul Voorhorst

I’m at that season of life where I’m done making major firearm purchases, Nutn being a major influence in those purchases. My current occupation has me working outside in rural North Dakota year round so outdoor clothing, boots, and snow gear has my interest. I still enjoy gun and knife reviews though.

Eric Raymo

All of these items are good to review, but I personally like gun reviews, thanks🇺🇸

Brad Fegan

Heck any and all work for me. If just an update or improved item from an existing review can be a shorter review like did on tent review.

T Boy

I am on the hunt for my next motorcycle. I for one would love to see some new moto vids. Rent/borrow something new to review.

Todd Strelka

Have you tested any of the portable power stations like Jackery or an affordable alternative? Great for truck camping but not good for hiking due to the weight.

Todd

Hiking boots please! I’m on my feet all day working construction. Light weight waterproof protection is a must!

Andrettski

Off topic, but WOW, I just got denied ordering two 15-round pistol mags for a new gun I got. Washington State law apparently already in effect. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING.

Andrew Stutzman

Will love to see some new lighting other than olight cause I like options with replaceable batteries. Maybe the Surefire small lights?

Jerome J

I think the "old" TNPers probably ask for "Gadgets" because we have been blessed to accumulate all the super important stuff over the years, now we're set and like: "I want to look at cool contraptions while sipping coffee and enjoying my almond croissant." lol

GMAX

How about a series which covers most of the topics you’ve offered? They all would fit nicely into a camping styled 10 part breakdown. I know you’ve focused on this before but it’s been a long time & gear has evolved. You could approach each item on the list separately, or bundle two (or more) in one.

Shawn Kuse

I love them all. Yeah, I’m partial to GRVs, but love the outdoor stuff too!

Keanu Alfaro

Knives, gadgets, more things we don't need but need...all the above please

Ian

As a fellow person of hight, 6'6", love any gear that goes big. Or at least tall. If you could include some gear that keeps us big guys in mind (because of course it still comes in a medium) that would be great. Sleeping bags that are 80"+, or shoes that come in sizes over 13... just an idea.

maxmfs

I’m good with all of the above. I’m older, and am pretty much kitted out, but for the younger folks, and newbies, it might be helpful to have load out advice, backpacking/woodcraft wisdom, etc. I know from watching the Project for a while that you have a lot of knowledge that would benefit a lot of your viewers.

Glen J. Rowley

All of the above plus maybe some backpacks !!! 👍💯

Echo Sierra

Small update on the USK/BOK-content, perhaps your wives BOK and how its different compared to yours. USK-series has been over 10 yrs since posted.

david rockwell

Gear that aids staying warm to fend off hypothermia while enjoying snow and fall/winter season is always welcome. The Dragon Wool base layers from Outdoor Vitals has been on my purchasing radar for a couple of months. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

Christopher Miller

High desert not goretex lined with a steel shank for heavy loads

Drew Kinsel

Old school outdoor gear systems!!

Jason Manning

I've really missed the backpacking gear reviews and adventures. Love. those vids.

rjw

🙋‍♂️ Guilty!

James Hood

Can’t remember the last time someone gave a good unbiased review of hiking boots.

Joseph

More knives 🔪 plus Russian stuff

Joseph

I second that! And some old west stuff. Guns, camping gear, cast iron cooking. Leather. Lanterns

Phill Super

I'm interested in red led head lamps and tiered cooking systems (backpack, 2person car, group/family car/bug in). And 45acp Banshee

Kyle Reese

Solar generators like Jackery or similar

Icehouse13

Always loved the other outdoor gear reviews. One of my disappointments, however, has been when it is a great piece of kit that is no longer available. To that issue: I don't know if you are aware of this, but there is a company still selling the old Kelty Tioga 5500 external frame pack (www.enwild.com). They special order up batches from Kelty, so they run out from time to time.

GarageJim_RMB

Perfect timing, in the need of new boots and always your suggested ones have worked out the best. Bravo Zulu!!!

WISCO_Ant

Tents! A bewildering array on the market and hard to find good value. I do everything from -25F solo to 95F with large family (car) camping. Would like to get family into backpacking but still very young. Also interested in modular cooking systems which scale from 1 to 8+ people. Sleeping systems would be great too. Of course gadgets and lights are always interesting but I also finally feel that I have my lighting squared away. Been listening to your recommendations on lights since 4Sevens Quark series!

Mark Eggers

How about reviewing one of those fancy eberlestock backpacks?

Mark

Love the adventure stuff. Definitely like to see an updated review on Eberlestock gear.

Todd Pander

I’d like to see a review on sleeping bags that gets into the pros/cons of down /synthetic / hybrid. How the temp ratings stack up on each. How water affects each and what not. as well as a look at good sleeping systems (e.g. bag + liner + mat etc.). And of course size and weight. Primarily for backpacking.

Harley

Hiking Boots & Clothing

Cory Howell

Man honestly, Anything the other channels arent doing to death. I like all the videos and the way you review guns. Thing is, anytime a new gun comes out 50 youtube channels have reviews. I joined Patreon for the stuff you do no one else does. I liked the long adventure backpacking trips. Camp gear. Def keep the guns and whatever does good for ya. I said 50 other channels do gun reviews but they dont REALLY review em ya know. A few mags and call it a day, thats where your channel is different. Keep doin you man.

TRJ

More long range. Say like point break 1 & 2 or operation red skies. Update your extended stay backpack kit series. Love your philosophy on any kinda kit nutnfancy, bring it. Kinda tired of all the reviews.

TRJ

More 22s in the basement? Hahaha. Anyone here watch that one from way back?

Paul Colburn

Feel like we need more multi-philosophy reviews on different systems. Lets discuss the traditional military multi section bivy setup and the aftermarkets upgrade variant. Lets try a new format with a shop interview with Wyatt at gunnies about soldier boy sleep systems.

Im Brooks

I like how to videos ... like how to start a fire

Randall Steen

I recently got some carinthia gear. Phenomenal! Thanks for the review on the mud master. I love it. I couldn't afford the garmin with applied ballistics. $$$$

robert mccrory

i liked the cooking bacon and eggs in the mountains, now of course not every video, but more gadgets, guns, knives or anything not as many watches can't get into expensive watches. stick to my swatch

Conrad

My bros and me are planning a backpacking trip this summer. Any kind of lightweight kit stuff would be cool.

Andrew H

If I'm being honest, gun reviews. Just some ideas, the new-gen, affordable PCCs--e.g., Stribog or PSA AR-V. Any AR-15 with a Faxon barrel. A thorough video on pistol Red Dots in general, going heavy on POU. A trick DIY Glock, with P80 lower and red dot cut upper. The latest and greatest Beretta 92. PSA AK. More bunker review with TD there - those are my favorite videos. Thanks Nutn for all of your hard work. Cheers!

Joseph

Bro that’s on point! I 💯 agree

Joseph

Yeah I remember the video when they were cooking bacon, and eating it as soon as it came out of the pan. Loved that video! One of my fondest memories from TNP

robert mccrory

I'm pretty new to knives qnd gear but gone back and watched almost all tnp stuff. I was exclusively guns until 2020 probably

ThePewLifeChoseMe

There's a lot of alternate power sources on the market. It's tough to tell which are quality and which are junk

Eric Gregory

I'd enjoy your take on camping hammocks. Maybe a comparison of the Dutchware Chameleon vs Dream Hammock Sparrow vs Warbonnet Blackbird XLC. Or maybe a comparison of hammock types like gathered end vs a bridge hammock. Regardless, everything you film is enjoyable. Thank you for sharing the project with us!

Christopher B.

Still looking forward to that 2A Arms review!

Hangfire

Solar powered camp lighting would be very cool if you can find quality at a fair price.

snuggles

would love to see some comms/radio reviews

David Elkins

All of the above should have been an option.

Spencer

What are your thoughts on hot tents with the titanium collapsing wood stoves?

Revelation1

I'm into ultralight backpacking... so Sleeping bags/Quilt should be UGQ, (don't forget a sleeping pad, nemo or thermarest) Tents should be Lanshan 2 (budget option) or Gossamer gear the one (little more), Unless budget isn't a thing then z packs shelters. Hike, actually shoes, Alpha's (Timp 2 or Long Peaks 4.5) are amazing unless going sub 10 degree hiking days... Clothing I'm pretty squared away layering... so some short of cool gadget would be nice, but honestly I don't know take the ounces.... I've got a great system that I love and it will be hard to pull me away and add weight.... Happy trails, just some random and unsolicited information here...

Zac

I voted on all! Bring ‘em on Nutn’!

Brandon Hutchins

I’d like to know how you think shoes like Altras compare in your opinion to boots and which you prefer for long backpacking trips. I did mount Hood last year in Altras and I was happy I did not wear boots.
