Nice little vid, cool learning about theses guys.

Chris Goodwyn

I'd double my Patreon contributions if Nutn did aviation documentaries.

Ryan P

I just PCS’d from Travis! Flew the KC-10 for 3 years there.

Trey

I do enjoy some old school airplanes. Great video.

Green Mountain Boys

I went to college in Langhorne/Penndel, PA and there was an old bar and restaurant that had a full Lockheed Constellation that made up the lounge... was closed down at that point, but just kitsch galore. Those were the days.

Schmuckatelli

YES...more plane reviews. Coming from a ground troop background, I always had a huge respect for air support. Thanks for your service, LtCol Nutn, and thanks for your continued life of service through the Project.

Brad Fegan

Yes keep coming in with plane vids. I also have couple questions for you. Do you still fly anything? Also while serving, did you ever try to change to different aircraft to fly or where you happy with what you had?

Dawson Rabb

Yes we want more mini plane reviews!

Jayson Fraser

That’s a super cool plane. I’d put it right behind the DC-3/C-47 on my list of planes I’d love to fly (or at least ride in) at least once in my life. On a sadder note, Gail Halvorsen, aka the “Berlin Candy Bomber”, passed away this month. He piloted both C-47s and C-54s during the Berlin airlift. His story is awesome; anyone who doesn’t know it should look him up.

Todd Strelka

Oh yeah! This is so cool. More plane reviews please. I have a kinship to the Air Force and it's aircraft. I grew up near Loring AFB SAC with B-52s and KC-135s in northern Maine.

Jeremy doblinger

Brother!! Can you do a WRV on that solar powerd timex your sporting in this video?

David Goodridge

The high point of my Fathers Army Air Corp career was the Berlin Airlift. All the stories he would tell me. C-54 was there, as well as many other models. They saved Berlin, and West Germany from the Soviets. I’m proud of my Dad and for being a part of that. Yes, good job Dad. I love you and miss you. Don’t forget about the C-119 ‘Flying Boxcar’ it had roll off loading in this time frame. And was just coming online.

The Nutnfancy Project

"Do you still fly anything? " Yes; "did you ever try to change to different aircraft to fly or where you happy with what you had?" Happy with what I had. I really enjoyed the KC135 T38 and had a short stint in the F15

RowdyRon

Any and all aircraft stuff for obvious reasons. What happened to Military Airlift Command (MAC)? That's mostly what I remember from my time in. It was AMC in the last half of my time. Guess they all combine at some point. That engine start looked like a fire! Thanks Nutn!! Salute.

Dawson Rabb

Even civilian aircraft would be of interest

Jerome J

What’s the noise condition inside a plane like that?

Jardine

Very cool! Love the history of the these old planes.

WILLIAM MEYER

Thanks, Nutn for the plane review. As a boots on the ground guy it sure made for more pleasant transport than those Huey's!

Andrew Gough

Really enjoyed it as well. Appreciate the diversity in subject matter you cover. Keep up great work!

Jon GA

Please keep the plane and motorcycle content coming!

Spencer

Love airplane videos. I have been working on my ppl. Hoping to fly some bush planes some time

Andrettski

Cool plane, fun history of it. Seemed really quiet around that area, not a lot of other people around, was this on a Sunday afternoon Yamaha cruise?

Tomcat503

More ARVs (Aircraft Review Videos) please. Feature length if possible. Thanks Nutn! (PS...and more Motorcycle vids as well)

Lance L Black

Thanks Nutn, took me back to a younger time circa, 50's and 60' s, in Amarillo, TX AFB. Training base during WWII and later B-52 SAC squadron stationed there. Planes of WWII were on display, each spring they allowed visits and walk-ons, with the Thunderbirds air show to top it all off. Great memories and loved it all. B-52's most impressive on take-off one after the other ... windows shook big time. Thanks again Nutn for your service then and now!

Joshua S

Love it. Have a special place in my heart for those radial engines. I highly recommend the Air Force History Museum at Wright Pat.

Mark Chase

I turned one at Amarillo AFB in Dec 1952. I was born at Travis AFB in 1951, which had previously been known as Fairfield Suisun Field until the Fall of 1951. . My Dad, Bob, flew B-17, B-24, C-47 and C-54.

The Nutnfancy Project

Todd! I will do more. I might do some repeats of planes we've talked about but it would be fun. Also I want to do some armor stuff too.

The Nutnfancy Project

Good to hear from you TC, I will do more for you. There's a couple more short ones coming but I'll do longer ones too.

The Nutnfancy Project

Keep it and bush flying in AK is legit. It doesn't pay much up there (usually) but the experience will make you into a good pilot for sure.

Patrick Richards

Very cool video. I was in the AF but I didn’t fly or work on the planes. So more of these videos would be interesting to me, especially the modern planes! Thanks nutn!

Robert Harper

Great review. I love to hear talk of all different types of planes. I grew up in Tucson, and saw so many different types at different times at the Boneyard at Davis-Monthan. I miss the variety the Air Force (and Navy) use to have. All of those “Century” series planes were so cool, and also seeing an aircraft carrier from 60s/70s/80s, the variety of planes was awesome!

Bernal

Nutnfancy, rollin’ Nor Cal 👍

hoplite ⚔️

Tres Cool! Thanks for the history lessons and all the addictions..

M

Yup, definitely should do bush plane reviews. See some river running

squealer

Hell yes, I want more mini plane reviews!

Dom

Is this a silent video?

Dan C

Nutn love the personal connection on this one! I fondly remember my grandfather taking me to the Travis BX for school shoes some 30-35 years ago. We would stay and watch the planes. I still get to watch touch and go maneuvers from Travis and Beale planes in my area at the former Mather AFB (Sacramento).

Maggies_Drawers

That was a tasty snack, much enjoyed, keep' em coming!

Anthony Schaad

Awesome vid Nutn… big history buff soo enjoyed alot!

david rockwell

Classic aircraft reviews of any length are greatly appreciated. Radial engines may be dated, but always sound like freedom to me. My first aviation maintenance school was on a handful of Wright R-1820 engines. They were tough to time accurately. Lots of fun in my younger days. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

Clint Raby

Agreed, more airplane videos!

Moe Mansour

I love these mini plane reviews. And I love that the diversity of the channel is growing. Don't get me wrong, I love my KRVs. Been watching them since 2008 and somehow the novelty still hasn't worn off. But this is awesome too!

Jordan Parker

I really enjoy these aviation reviews, Nutn. I'm not a pilot, but I have family that served in the Air Force, including my grandfather who flew several aircraft including the AC-130.

Douglas K

Definitely more plane content please

Paul Kwiatkowski

Yes to airplane insights. Airplane model building was a great hobby when I had time.

Gilbert Cuzdey Jr

What an aesthetically pleasing aircraft. I'm heading over to Florida this weekend to do some static line jumps with RCPT USA out of a C47 that participated in D-Day, Market Garden, and you guessed it the Berlin Airlift.

whiskey papa

My dad was a mechanic at Ford Motor Co in the 50s. He would take me up on test flights of their DC-4. What a blast for a kid.

Bluegill097

The length on these mini plane reviews is perfect in my opinion

CincinnatiDan (Ohio)

i appreciate this aircraft content, thanks for bringing us along to Travis.

Jesse (Sphinx)

Love the plane reviews. There's nothing like an enormous radial engine or a big turbo prop. Keep the short plane videos coming--even the tabletop ones with realistic models are cool.
