Surprisingly quality and durability at their low price: the Swiss Invicta Pro Diver quartz is a looker. Coming in a variety of hand styles, they feature vibrant colors, a Swiss cross complication, great legibility, and even an enameled back...never seen before in any watch reviewed here yet.

Each has Swiss made components like their gold plated Ronda movements. These are highly recommended at the price levels discussed and I don't see any other makers matching their high value. TNP water testing showed they are ready for water adventures too.

Can we get a Nutn SitRep on the Ukraine/Russia conflict? I’d like to hear your thoughts and perspectives both on the conflict and what you think we should be doing in perpetration as a nation and individuals.

Great value! Many people don’t realize Invicta is one of the largest watch manufacturers in the WORLD. They dwarf Rolex in units made each year (Rolex pumps out ridiculous numbers for stupid money) but they don’t advertise like the big boys and don’t pay celebrities image $. Invicta strikes a wonderful balance of quality/value. Today, my edc is the Swiss Made Sellita 2000 meteorite diver 47mm on mesh bracelet. Thanks Nutn!

And, just to review the “semantics “ of what a Swiss Made watch is for the watch geeks out there, in fact there are very few PURELY “Swiss made” watches in the world. Meaning every component, yes, EVERY component of the piece is made in Switzerland, Bedat being an example which even has their own proprietary certification (that in itself should raise eyebrows). Anyway, for a watch to be labeled Swiss made, it must have a Swiss movement, be cased in Switzerland, the final inspection must take place in Switzerland, and at LEAST 60% of the value of the parts must be Swiss. These standards are set by the Swiss Federation. Just a point of interest…there are importation rules of what can be truly marked Swiss made. Many watches have Swiss movement at the 6 o’clock position, which means they have a Swiss movement, but it could even be a hodgepodge of parts, manufactured in Asia, for example. Excuse my geekiness, but I used to work in the industry.

An Invicta has been the first watch for a lot of people who later became watch enthusiasts and collectors.

I love the blue dive watches!

Jordan Parker

Great looking watches! I love the aesthetics of dive watches, and these Invicta Pro Divers do not disappoint.

Moe Mansour

I really like that green. Maybe it's time to upgrade my Casion 93H 😬... great sports watch though.

Brad Fegan

The translucent orange is the coolest one.

Moe Mansour

I'll third and fourth that motion!

RowdyRon

I really like the Invictas, and they were my gateway brand into "real" watches, but I really like those Spinnaker watches a lot more. Bonus - they're automatics as well. Great WRV, thanks Nutn.

That Swiss badge really pops on a blue dial! The 40mm Invicta Pro Diver with NH35A movement is on Amazon for $65 right now. I just bought my first Invicta because I have that same movement in a couple other watches at 4 times that amount.

DUDE! That graffiti skinned watch is very cool. You’re bold color choices made me branch out too. Was rocking an all red G-shock today and love the fun it brings to the EDC. Cheers Nutn!

hoplite ⚔️

Yeah meng, I’ve been hoping he would post something like that too.

hoplite ⚔️

Me too! I’ve been on the hunt for one for so so long. A lot of catch and releases… Finally settled on a SEKONDA 1789 that I got from the Amazon UK site. It was only £35 + shipping. Nice matte blue dial and bezel. Looking forward to putting a crystal protector on it and a grey perlon or nato.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yes indeed. I have mentioned all that in other reviews, thanks for clarity! I show the Ronda movement in the video, the heart of the watch. I did look for anything marked China, didn't see it. Great watches for the money.

The Nutnfancy Project

Amen brother. BTW every commenting here is added the to Patreon scroll list I roll on some videos!

Todd Strelka

I'm checking my water and food storage.

hoplite ⚔️

Yeah man, that thing looked awesome. I almost puked the trigger on the translucent yellow one a while back.

I'm a little curious about the black vintage, 1953 model I see all the time. I'm just a little burned out on divers, I love 'em too, but I wish there were more chrono options out there

As an intro, cheap beater, or impulse buy while on clearance, it does alright for itself. I feel like buying an invicta pro diver is a bit of an evolution in being a watch guy. Early on you buy one, then find out the rep of the company amongst the watch glitterati, so you're ashamed of it and move on. Then one day you see a nicely appointed one selling for so cheap it's work it for the parts alone, so you buy it again, and chuckle to yourself when the guy making loan payments for a submariner locked away in a deposit box says he'd never be caught dead with an invicta!

So after watching nutn's smokejumper 44 review it unlocked an interest in getting a watch. I always viewed the watch reviews just to support all the content never having an interest. But as much as I love the smokejumper 44 I know I will be annoyed with the bordered sword hands and the cluttered lines with the micro graduations(?). Recently I took a trip to walmart and came across the Casio mw240-1bv and fell in love. For $15, simply tells time, white on black, big numerals, just minute lines, sword hands without bordering. I've checked the time over a few days and it is still on the second with the cellphone time, awesome! My only gripe is the plastic face(?) and how easily it scratches. I was wondering if it would be possible to replace it with a crystal face. If you have any similar watch recommendations with sapphire I would love to know.

Ben H.

I know I may be crazy for wanting to put a sapphire crystal on a $15 watch but I like it so much that I'd gladly do it if possible. I'm going to buy a couple more on Amazon as well.
