Here's the update on what I've had to deal with in the last few days!  I lost a lot but in a lot of ways I got real lucky. The TNP Lance trailer will no longer stay in the shit hole called Kalifornia.

I was just wondering today if everything was ok with you guys and thought about sending you a message. So sorry to hear about this. I know how much that sucks. My truck was broken into at a commuter lot in Missouri a few years ago. They stole my battery by cutting the cables, the windshield wipers, my jack handle and half a tank of gas. Your situation is definitely worse than mine was though.

Sorry to hear that—freakin sucks. Had a guy on a knife trading site swindle me out of a $450 microtech Hera a couple weeks back. Good lesson learned, if expensive. Thankful that I can take a $450 loss and not feel it financially—God is good, and that trumps having to loving in a world with evil lying thieves. So stoked they didn’t get the guns.

CA is a sinking ship. They do not prosecute criminals. It’s catch and release for the police. Anything and everything that isn’t watched by a person will be stolen. It’s all of CA too. Even the good areas.

The best setup I've thought of for rural setup is this: put up a big steel building with a huge concrete pad. Put big travel trailer in it when you're gone, all protected from the elements and thieves. Then when you're there pull the trailer out, setup, and use. You could even make some hookups for it. To passerby's your setup would look like nothing more than a farmers storage building, tons of which are everywhere. Enjoy!

I gotta say, I'm not surprised. California is a crime riddled shithole, where crime does pay and isn't punished. I question you leaving several firearms and knives unattended hundreds of miles and states away from where you live at. Thank God they weren't stolen, because it would have been on you. WA State has similar lack of interest by the police for such crimes. Forget the video proof, a police officer here could personally witness someone obviously smash & grabbing a parked vehicle, but they now need probable cause, not reasonable suspicion to do anything. Technically they could ask the criminal(s) if the vehicle was theirs, but as long as the criminal says nothing, there's no proof of crime. You would have to be there in person and provide proof the vehicle is yours while both the the criminal(s) and the police were present. At that point, they could be arrested, but the police also know the local DA won't prosecute, and they'd be back on the street no later than the next morning after a free 3 hots and a cot, so everyone involved is a guaranteed loser except the criminals. Shopping mall parking lots are constantly cruised by street people on bicycles who jimmy & grab anything in sight, cops take 45 minutes to show up if you call, your Tesla can have photo proof of all, plus 5 others can be there reporting the same theft from their cars, and same mug shots, but ... everyone's time is better spent shopping for another State to call home.

Sucks man. Most frustrating part is the mountain of evidence to provide to the police and the lack of any response, any commitment to service, is infuriating. No doubt the cops know even if they catch the guys (bet ya dollars to donuts they know them from the vid) that the courts in CA wouldn’t do anything anyways. So why put in the effort. Covid fortunately allowed me to flee the shithole that is CA for UT, finally. Lived there for 30 years and boy it has changed for the worst by far, everywhere. It's disgusting. Such a bummer on the losses—glad they didn't get the guns! Amazing how good those little lock boxes are.

My only guess was that they also had a Ford Super Duty and they needed wiper blades 🤷🏻‍♂️. I think they used the jack handle to pry the battery out so they just kept it too.

Man that really sucks freaking dirt bag's but like you said it could have been much worse. At least your guns were safe and the trailer wasn't completely busted up. Speaking of no good thieves I had my best deer rifle stolen out of my truck back in December. It was black powder season hear in Michigan and I was running my CVA Accura lr-x 50cal with a Strike Eagle 1-8x24 on it. I had it locked up in a case on the floor behind the front seats of my truck along with all my other hunting gear. Well long story short some shit head busted my driver window got in there and snatched it case and all along with a bunch of tools and odd and ends. I was actually surprised because there was a Rubbermaid tote on my back seat with my hunting gear in it. It carries my rangefinders binos several cold steel blades clothes calls and ect. All of that was completely untouched. He also didn't find my truck gun. I carry a TP9SF in a lockbox inside my center console. It lives in there in addition to whatever I happen to be carrying for the day. Anyway all that stuff was safe but the same thing the cops didn't want anything to do with it. Even though it happened in my driveway and my garage cam caught the whole darn thing. I hate a thief but what can ya do sometimes.

I do have friends who live in Moorpark, Commiefornia that have a very secluded security gated farm that they sell space on if you are interested at all to look into. I believe they've never had any incidents. Not sure what you paid that business for rent

I am familiar with that sinking feeling of disgust in the pit of your stomach after you've been burglarized. It happened to me years ago while on vacation. A guy operating out of a fake contractor van had scoped the area well and knew when he was least likely to be caught. He used some sort of electronic lock picking device to defeat a keypad for entrance to the rear stairwell (in an old brownstone house in Louisville's Victorian district). He then tried to open my back door with a pry bar, but failed, then smashed through the interior wall and squeezed between the 2x4's. He left our most valuable items, which had me puzzled at first. But really he only took what he could unload quickly on the black market – including a S&W M&P 9mm. The sort of personal violation you feel after such a crime lingers for a long time. My wife barely slept for weeks. It took several years, but the LPD eventually caught him and put him in jail for a long list of crimes. I guess the thieves who broke into your trailer didn't touch the weapons, because that may have turned the crime into a felony that even the California police would have investigated, leading to potential prison time if they were caught. At least no one was injured. I know it's poor consolation, but there's not much you can do after such an incident except let it go and move on, knowing that Karma will catch up with them sooner or later.

Truly thank God the guns were still there! One good thing about California letting criminals run the state is that hopefully all the criminals will move there. I mean they wont pay as many taxes and will use more aid than all the people who moved out of the state, but at least there will still be a population for the politicians to control. January 14th of this year the van I had been living in since 2016 in Los Angeles was stolen in Marina Del Rey. I went from a house and vehicle to a t-shirt and shorts - that’s it. Thank god my wallet and phone were in my pocket. 9 months later and I’m back in Wisconsin getting ready for a winter in-between mens shelters. The shear suffering that person incurred on my life is so awful. Im devastated by it but life goes on. Losing the 5tb of my life from 2008 -2022 which I had organized in a box in the van is what kills me. That state is a crime against humanity. It’s awful.
