News regarding P320! Swiss Army just announced they will buy 140000 SigSauer P320 as new service pistol. There were 3 Manufacturers in the finals, Glock with G45, H&K with SFP9 and SigSauer with P320. They officially said: Only Glock G45 passed the field test for Duty Service Pistols. Sig received the contract because they were cheaper over a 30 years lifespan and production will be done within Switzerland by Swiss Contractors. I was really surprised, Glock was not cheaper? Als only Glock passed testing criterias… I guess thats why p320 also was not tested by us military, at least I nowhere found any details or data compairing with competition. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/various/swiss-army-opts-for-most-economical-pistol-model/90585688

Merry Christmas, Nutn’! I know while you have always thought the P320 a very competent go to war pistol, it is not your favorite. I got a Texas Ranger limited edition, “One Riot, One Ranger,” and I don’t know what it is, but I got a good one and it is magical for me. The way one interfaces with a particular gun is very personal, for sure.

nutn, once I got my post 2017 serial number checked (on the Sig website) , I realized that the addition of the very visible disconnector update was obvious. It was around that date. Maybe pre 2017 could be an issue. I'm not sweating the hype on this one. Probably the news was amplified by Glock, or some other jealous company. My sights are clearly not as good as yours, as I'm clearly a competition grade shooter, who has excellent habits (NOT). I'm just a little bit of one of those low left guys. It will get better with time. The good part is the 16 extra rounds in the mag to try again, if you need to. Thank you for this video. I did not regret the money spent on the M17 at all.

I've had my first gen 320 with an apex trigger and have had zero issues . It's my daily carry and range gun

Brother in law was issued one when the army changed from beretta, took it to the range the first time, loaded the mag, put into the gun, racked the slide, pulled trigger, no bang, couldn’t get the slide to move, mag came out, pulled hard and finally got the slide back. Took it apart and an important part in the trigger assembly sheared off, he was pretty upset. Not sure it’s a good rep for the gun overall but, he will never carry anything but a Glock because of that malfunction.

Merry Christmas to All indeed! Good video. Haven’t shot a P320, but have heard good things. The AD/ND litigation is a real thing though. There are legit allegations of design/manufacturing issues with at least one iteration of the internals.

Merry Christmas TNP’rs! I carry the 4” PDP FS and even if I had the M17 in my collection I would still grab the PDP and put it in my waistband. I think I will pass up on the 320. My wife carries the P365x so if I feel the need to shoot a Sig I will grab hers and my 226 SAO Legion and have some fun, but my PDP will stay my GTW gun. I love it tremendously. I recommend an Overwatch Precision trigger if you have a PDP. Truly amazing set up. I haven’t been able to try the Dynamic trigger by Walther being it has been sold out for a while.

P320 is my GTW option. I won’t claim it’s the best but it works for me. The Wilson Combat grip module was an awesome upgrade. About $65 and it’s now much more comfortable in my hand. The downside is the $50 cost of magazines.

Trigger Shered off? Wasn’t put together correctly, Army guys messing with it. First he does with the Glock is get the trigger fixed

I’ve shot the gun. I like the gun. But the testing that went into the gun is crap. Exhibit A: SIG already recalled and modified the gun to prevent ADs. They would not do that unless there was an original design flaw. For some reason, SIG likes to use the consumer for its last round of testing. (Edit: and nice shooting Sean!)

Remember 15 years ago when people criticized Nutnfancy for painting his entire pistol one color (FDE) with "Duracoat" and said it was an ugly fad? Pepperidge Farm remembers! 😂 And how does Nutn's paint jobs on his guns look more uniform than what a major gun company's does?!

P320 seem like an evolution of the P226, and I agree Sig can be a douchee company depending on which executive you talk to.....

If you follow the reviews you may recall my testing revealed big flaws in the Sig Cross and MCX and their upgrades were a direct result of TNP videos. No credit given from Sig of course b. they are douche wagons.

Thank you so much for your opinion on the safety of the P320 Nutn! The negative media publicity has alot of guys doubting Sigs QC and designs. Sig is one of my favorite manufacturers & I would trust my life with my Sig EDC pistols. God Bless you & Merry Christmas Nutn

I want to like sig products since it looks like they are really innovating, which is awesome, but I can't get past not having a trigger safety of some kind on a striker fired gun and the thumb safety is just another step. If I could swing it, I'd love to try out an HK P30 with the LEM trigger!

Do you have plans to review the Sig P365 Macro with a XL Slide? It seems it's one of the smallest guns with a 17+1 capacity.
