The Bog stand-up shooting tripods are the best I've found. They solve problems for me in my testing protocols. For instance they provide plenty stability for zeroing at 50 yds; helpful for often errant laser boresighters. The "Deathgrip" standard camo model is reviewed here but I also have a "Deathgrip Infinite Carbon Fiber" that has under gone heavy use. They are well made, durable, easy to setup/takedown, and are high value. A surprise guest helps me demo this Deathgrip in field with some AR shooting too. Highly recommended shooting accessory for both sit down and stand up shooting!

That's awesome to see him again! 👏

Awesome seeing Keltec in the project!

Hope this video was created in 2023, since I would love to see recent videos of Chad shooting his own Keltec rifles or pistols.

Idan Sicard

Ask and you shall recieve! Wanted this vid and here it is! Thanks for this nutn.

Just a comment about the Canadian gun laws... I totally agree with what you said. We can't center our argument around sport shooting and hunting. I've been saying this forever. Also, gun owners here are statistically the least likely demographic to be involved with a crime of any type (not just gun related). They know that they're held to a higher standard and would lose their permit. So, in reality they're among the most responsible citizens we have.

With a quarter inch insert from the hard store, a piece of oak, a clamp and an old camera tripod, I fashioned a very nice clamp for holding a disassembled upper, so that I can look down the barrel and line up the site for zeroing purposes. Works great!

What a great idea. Gotta love innovative products that make our lives easier!

Cocoa Beach 72f…Utah 22f. Chad picked the right time to visit!

Matthew Jantz

Have been using mine for hunting hogs and coyotes at night via thermal. Works great!

Jordan Parker

Chad returns! Great to see him again in the project. Ive been considering a tripod like this, Two Vets makes some I've been looking at. Thanks Nutn!

Did Chad perform the required bear scat search prior to initiation of testing for the day? Welcome back Chad.

Justin Wingerter

Nutn, you didnt mention weight, but I saw the carbon fiber version; would you say this is a viable replacement for shooting sticks in a soldier boy type event? Just a thought as it seems much more stable than sticks

Rob Miller

Well, we did not wait for the review to add one of these to our kit. Glad it was a recommended. We also love it….esp for thermal yotes

Holy sh$t kel-Tec Chad! Hopefully he was brining some industry Intel into the project! Haven’t seen that dude in a while, hopefully it’s because he’s been making guns to restock the stores with P32s since I can’t find one anywhere

Matthew Hargis

Love to see Chad visiting the project!

Hugh Amlett

Another use for these is teaching young shooters behind a rifle. They get all the fun in a safe way, and can focus on sights a trigger control

MORE OF THIS! Your testing and recommendations on equipment is really helpful because no one does it

Kyle Soucy

Good to see Chad return!

Nathan Simms aka Darkpriest

agreed on other posts, your testing of gear and equipment is something I've really gone to over the years. Wish you would review a backpacking backpack without a frame ;-) I'm about to go backpacking up a mountain in April.

I just bought a tripod right before you posted this. Oh well. I like using an Arca rail its light weight and goes great with switching to my binoculars and spotting scope very fast. It makes you feel like your cheating but great for what you say sighting in and accuracy stuff. I did look a long time before I decided on it over the grip one you mentioned

David Threadgold

So funny I wrote the last post before I watched your video and noticed you said it’s feels like it’s cheating I thought that was funny good video

Finally used one the other day. these are killer.
