Soldier Boy: Med Range Carbine!

Comments

Elijah Ballard

Soldier boy is awesome! I have been rewatching previous soldier boy videos in the project.

Elijah Ballard

I foresee body armor and LBE will soon group people into these “red flags” of the red flag laws states are passing and trying to pass. Too many head up asshole types. What is happening in Canada is knocking on our door. I can see it happening in 5 years or less in the US. Complying with gun registration is what a lot of the these head up asshole gun wielding types will do and hang the rest of us out to dry.

Moe Mansour

Soldier boy keeps getting better 👍

Phillip Robinette McKracken

I'm confused by your statements. Who are your "head up asshole gun wielding types"? Who would accept a registry? If you caved in Canada, don't expect anyone to do that in the US. Confused. I don't think we have approved attire for our sports training. Should we be wearing red Nike shirts? I have a red nine-line shirt. Would that cause a similar disaster?

I go to Appleseed events regularly. It's 3 position stuff and there's a handful of "known distance" events using your choice center fire out to 400 yards. It is no gimme and we're not jogging first. It's challenging stuff, this is a skill and for most of us struggling working overtime to pay the bills.. even harder now with so much less time to practice and when you go out your beat from working 5 10s at best, often more like 5 12s. Great job!! Accepting instruction and getting out there!

Jordan Parker

I'm enjoying Rod's soldier boy adventure, and I like the way these videos are broken up into segments for each stage. Thanks Nutn!

The Nutnfancy Project

THanks Jordan, I like the modular videos too: makes it easier to watch. Rod was a great sport through it all too

Elijah Ballard

The head up the asshole types is something Nutn came up with. There are gun owners with their heads up their ass and that will willing help with the confiscation of their 2nd amendment. If you don’t think body armor is under attack you aren’t paying enough attention.

Rick Grad

I had a feeling about him doing well. Good job shooter.

Onewizeguy

Good job Rod! I imagine your fitness level is way above most and that went a long way toward maintaining your fundamentals and getting rounds on target. Participating in this was a huge opportunity. Training isn’t about perfection, it’s about learning. Don’t let those “couch-potato rangers” dog you- good job brother, carry-on.

Onewizeguy

Bonus points to anyone who remembers the TNP’er who coined “couch-potato ranger”

Andrew Stutzman

Thanks Nutn for continuing Soldier Boy. Love these!

Downtrodden

Noticeable progress! I gotta build a barricade for my range trips! I wonder how a 3x micro prism would do in solderboy.

BadgerTails

Good job Rod, ignore the armchair Cheeto puffs girls with their airsoft comments; Drive on! Through the muck! Roll around! OOooops it's a DD mudpie!? To the end, looking forward to the rest

A.A.A.

Once again, STELLAR PERFORMANCE Rod !!

A.A.A.

You eat Nutn’s haranguing like candy !!

William H

Good shooting! MNice to have on while reloading 9mm.

Jonathon Hurley

Not bad, but Rod was supper fiddly with his gun between shots. Micro adjusting his magnification and messing with his stock constantly. If that scope is that finicky I would think about getting something else, If it was just a nervous tick or something then some more time behind the gun and being aware of it should help.

Sonnedude

Stayed all the way to the end

Dalton

Great job 👏 😎🐾🤙🇺🇸👍

Michael McAtee

I wonder that too! I love mine but I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot it longer ranges.

Michael McAtee

Maybe Rod should standardize on 40 round Pmags they are just a little taller so maybe he could effectively monopod off them in his kit.

Michael McAtee

I like that Rod does better under pressure. When you called the hostage shot, he delivered. When you said they are counting on you, his next shot was a hit.

Onewizeguy

Nope- dates back years. Past Soldier Boy or maybe Red Skies. The Hint: BAD

Paul Kwiatkowski

I watch, I like. I am 66 in Maryland and have to live vicariously through the 50 year olds living and playing in the free states out West.

BusaPilot08

I'm only about 2 minutes into the video. Note to self... Never leave my rifles with Nutn unsupervised. lol...

For more details of bone support shooting positions check out The Art Of The Rifle by Jeff Cooper. Another good video. Thanks!!
