Wolf ammo that looked pretty good. Qpq barrel has potential might have produced sub moa with better pellets Drop in patrons makes sense given what I'm seeing in my travels. High pay job axed, low pay jobs plentiful. If my budget had no room in it for play in the 22 competitions and occasional longer range stuff I wouldn't want to watch these videos either remind me of fun things I can no longer afford to do

This AR reminds me of my Diamondback “black gold” edition. It has virtually the same hand guard, except for some milling differences. The gun shop sold it to me at a regular DB15 price so I’ve been ecstatic about the value. Not my lightest rifle but it looks awesome.

Government rules require these companies to sell “commercial off the shelf” products to the government at the same price they’re available to the public. Although intended to save the USG money, in reality the gov’t version is always super expensive, and offered for a bazillion dollars commercially (if at all).

I use QD cups toward the front part of the handguard for sling shooting. Much less useful near the receiver.

Nut'n: With regard to subscribers dropping off. My subscription was also deactivated. I checked with paypal and they didn't initiate the deactivation. Maybe look at Patreon being the culprit? Do they have a time-out feature? I didn't learn of the deactivation until I tried accessing a new video. Then I got a message from Patreon that my subscription needed looking after.

I looked at this gun back in the day... in the end i went with a XCR (non restricted vs ar15s being restricted in canada) . For the price this chytac it was good but not amazing, one buddy bought one.. i rember saying if i was going to spend that much on an AR15 i would buy a colt canada one... true Rolls-Royce of the ar15 world. When i was in the CAF i thought the colt c7s were mediocre... but then i got into guns on civy side. C7S, even being 20 year old guns (mine was made in 1987) with over 60 000+ rounds through your average rifle (i would fire about 3-7000 rounds a year on tour work ups depending on position) i got less stopages and better accuracy then most $1500 ARs in civvie world.

i think a lot of dudes don't have the money anymore. i'm struggling to find funds myself. im just lucky i stocked up with what i need so i can at least get out and shoot. if i had to buy ammo right now even tho its come down a bit i couldn't afford to shoot and waste any of it.

Macie's mani/pedi only allows for Timney trigger time! Great works again Sir! Patreon feedback: have people go direct CC pay, instead of using Paypal. Also, the recent Patreon changes: it used to be when I'd click on a link supplied, it would open a separate window and I could continue the listening as I surfed Optics planet, etc., but not anymore. Clicking supplied links does a complete re-direct and leaves Patreon. I dig the B5s and will grab a couple with some of those gloves as well. I do use the QDs when supplied, but they're really no factor as a buy/don't buy thing. So, it appears the Chey likes the aluminum D&H mags, but not the MPs, that's weird. Drive on!

Nutn, with regard to the dropped Patrons, my feed was suddenly showing 2022 videos. I did some digging, and couldn't figure out what was wrong in the settings. I then received an email from Patreon on 8/3/23 stating that, "Recently, one or more of your Patreon payments may have been declined and erroneously flagged as fraudulent by your bank. We've traced this issue back to system upgrades required by one of our payment processing partners. You may see some payments declined while the changes take effect." I pay with Amex, and just logged on and reentered my payment info, which seemed to fix things. My money is on this being the reason behind why you had a sudden drop of Patrons, I would ask Patreon for a list of affected Patrons, which I am willing to bet will correlate.

I let my debit card expire and didn’t even notice for 6-7 months as I usually just catch your videos on YouTube. However I updated it last month and even after updating my card was declined I had to submit it 3 times before it finally went through.

I think this one's more about the name. It's a solid AR but way overpriced. I'd get Daniel Defense or Colt for that cost usually. Or build my own ha ha

Also I didn't know a separate window was opened and you left Patreon. I'm always trying to figure out if guys watch the videos here or in YT. I doesn't really matter to me but I want a reliable experience for you guys. Maybe I'll go back to putting in direct YT link too.

Well, the complete redirects (shopping links) only just started happening, in the last week or so? I only come here on the Mac desktop at home, but I know lots of dudes use their phones for everything and those redirects would be a real hassle, might not come back to vid, and screw with the algos/watch data. On PayPal I'm just guessing they're getting into their gun FUD anti-2A games again, and doing some cancellations at their leisure. Route the CC pay through the TnP store? Drive on Dude!

Dude..dude dude dude dude dude. You are just wrong on forward assists for ARs. If you don’t have one on a otherwise standard AR it’s not a serious go to war gun. Might be great for other stuff but not gtw. And your criticism of it not clearing those malfunctions was silly. Jamming forward a FN Scar bolt on a similar jam wouldn’t have cleared that type of jam either. It’s for seating a round when gunk, fouling, or ice in the receiver has prevented the round from seating all the way into the chamber. Otherwise great video.

B5 made the LMT stocks back in the day, they were just labeled LMT. The SOPMOD is now made by a few companies. I have one from JE that is identical, but at 1/3 the price. Its not my favorite stock at all as they have some weight. As for the handguard, it may have actually come from Stngr. They do some OEM stuff in the background, and have done a few of the "Closed Gap" handgards before. FYI, I love their handguards. Checkem out.
