Here we look at the high end Spyderco Spydie Chef and consider if it's EDCable. Bunch of cool stuff on the table provides an interesting backdrop. TNPrs said they'd prefer the Kubota skid loader btw!

Does anyone else watch more TNP than they do regular TV? I look forward to these vids more than new episodes of OP Live.

Frequently in the edc rotation love it excellent spydie flick deployment

Ian

pretty sure their salt series has L200, you had the yellow/green handled one reviewed yrs ago.

DuginIN

Pass for me. I’m a big fan of Paramilitary 2. Have nine versions. I’m in for a TNP special edition fixed blade.

Bernal

Dude. A ball is a ball and a strike is a strike. I think this Tesla I’ve been driving may slay the Vette. Zzzapp ⚡️

Very cool knife. I just went through the A and B channel stuff on youtube and a lot of survival and bush knives have been reviewed. I did not see anything on the classic air force survival knife. I would be interested on your thought on that one as I am sure you probably received training for using it in the bush.

DudeDudeDude

I find the smaller PM3 to be just about an ideal everyday knife.

Caleb Gips

I’m one of those guys that bought one several years ago (not $280 when I got it btw). Totally got it as a cooking knife since I love to cook outdoors. It’s great for food and is always in my pocket on bbq days or family cookouts, but I can’t say I ever edc it. Personal fav for edc for the last year or so is the para 3 in maxamet.

MT

Love the KRVs. Thanks Nutn!

Harold Galen McPheron

Great review, love Spyderco knifes, have two in my pockets right now...

The Nutnfancy Project

So glad to hear that Jason. I'll keep cranking them out for you. I try to make them fun.

Mike

Love KRVs. Like my SpydieChef. Main POU is pool carry. Rust proof, and long enough to stay in my pocket even when swimming laps. Mines been modded with jimping on the spine and frag pattern on the scales. I carry it as a normal EDC occasionally, but I've got other stuff I like better.

The Nutnfancy Project

I wonder if other dudes want it too. I don't think I have one but used too. I chose to use the USN survival knife when I went thru SERE training. I don't like the USAF Survival knife too much but I don't think I have the Camillus version. If you do send it to me and I'll work it out and review it.

Love the LC200N! Came for the gun content. Stayed for the knife content. Became a Patreon for the philosophy content. Love the watch content too. Was rocking the Glycine Airpilot Dualtime tonight. Thanks for upping my EDC Nutn! It does make days better.

Just put skateboard grip tape on my cold steel black bear Bowie handle. 13” blade for £50. Grippy handle has transformed this. Traction is important, old swords used ray skin for a reason.

I just received an Ontario brand a few weeks ago. I heard that Ontario was shutting down their operations and wanted to snag one while I could. I know their bayonets are good but I was not impressed with the AF knife when I received it. The quality looks good but the design is very thick (much much thicker than say a kabar.) which would make for a poor cutter. I assume that the blade was made for punching and prying wreckage and splitting wood, makeshift speartip etc. A nice Bark River, ESEE, or similar would make a better bush knife. It is clear that this thing is a made to be useful for anything but good at nothing. If you do happen to be interested in reviewing it let me know.

Mark Higginson

Can we have some more accessories reviews, nutnfancy? An update on the current scope market would be nice.

Downtrodden

If my main three EDC knives are TNP Endura, Delica, and Daggerr, I’m likely getting a 1st and 2nd cool passing grade. I have backups but those three are in service every day.

Downtrodden

Pool carry! When Ironman training I was in some sketchy lakes but my only worry was waterborne parasites. But now you have me thinking about carrying for 2nd cool.

Joshua Pulliam

Yes! Spyderco review! Love all of my Spydercos. Still need a TNP Edition Street Beat!

Plumber Angelo

I’ve been waiting for this review!!!!!

Rick Grad

Big fan of the knife show. What knives would you keep, if you had to sell everything and could only keep $1,000 worth of your knives? That would be an interesting vid. I know I would use some of my $1,000 limit on a PM2, Endura, a MT Socom Elite. The choices would get very difficult after that.

Outrider950

I love the PA 2x compact optics. I intermittently have one riding on my SCAR 17 when I just want it in a lightweight configuration. Very useful out to 300. The sub-tension dots beyond that are kind of sporty for urgent use.

BadgerTails

"Bring out the Gimp!?" LOL! Love me some SpyderCo! Now, I only have a couple so far, with the Chief on pre-order, but they are high on the list of what actually goes into pocket! Drive on!

Chase Williams

Nutnfancy please do more Spyderco videos. 🙏 thank you.

Bernal

Without the sound of V8 greatness distracting the ears, the sound of the tire’s grip level becomes much more apparent 👍⚡️💥

Mike

There's a bunch of goathead stickers between my house and the pool. You step on one, you can't grab it with your hand cause there's thorns going every which way. Plus there's a grill at the pool. Hero with the sharp knife might find himself eating steak unexpectedly. A man can dream anyway.

John Dean

Yes. More Spyderco! Totally agree on this though. Pricey for what it is.

DudeDudeDude

I watch TNP and other similar channels more than tv in the summer. I watch a lot of football and hockey though.

Chase Williams

Try Thomas and Betts ty-wrap zipties. They can conform to any span diameter so you don't have to use 2 on narrower stuff like PM2's

Craig Tabor

Clearly, this is not for EDC. It's for food prep. I would assume why there's not steel lock bar insert or jimping. I assume they have minimized the parts.

MT

KRV fan supreme right here. Love'em!!

Shawn Kuse

Love all the KRVs! Again, this knife will appeal to a very select few. Plenty of other options for outdoor prepping knives.
