Which option best describes your no-kidding EDC system in ROL? All these items must be on your person when outside the house to count, ha ha. BTW my response is the 2nd one as you know in ROL, plus backup knives, flashlight, survival items [as shown a lot] in fanny pack.

MDMT >> medium duty multi-tool

Here lately it’s been my Ruger LCP original. And a Buck 110 light with a few extra items I might grab on the way out. I had been carrying a G19 size gun. But after having that 3rd child I’ve kinda slumped off. We rarely leave the house except running up the road to the store and I’ve been working from home. So kinda a home EDC anyway. I do atleast carry a extra mag and one in the gun is extended

Todd Strelka

It's good to always be prepared. My Olight flashlight and Victorinox Cadet are my most used items. Leatherman S2 Juice and Spyderco Dragonfly 2 also get a lot of use.

Kinoons

I’m a mix between 2 and 3. PPS but no extra mag. Spyderco manix LW covers both EDC and tactical blade. Olight flashlight. Leatherman wave. Small keychain with another Multitool, whistle, pen, marker, and mini light.

Caleb11b

I'm more of a 1. But it's a Glock 19 with 2 17rd back up mags, a Beretta 950 jetfire or a G 42 as back up.

Lee

#3 But with a flashlight. Usually don't wear pants in FL.

Drake Tilson

8) GTW pistol, extra mag, tactical flashlight, tactical blade, OC spray. Glock 17 w/ Holosun 508T and SureFire X300 Tubro. +2 baseplates on magazines. Benchmade Barrage. Cloud Defensive MCH-HC. POM brand OC spray.

Chris Fischer

My blade is less than 4 inch, but I carry 2, also I don't have a multi tool but I carry 5" pocket pliers from knipex, dies that count?

Andrew Baldwin

Picked 6 because it's the only option with a revolver. The airweight J frame is magical for me. My tactical and EDC blade are the same blade... and that's a tiny little spiderco grasshopper. Light is a streamlight microstream that is with me day and night. I spend most of my time in non permissive environments where I can't dress like a tactical hobo so SAWC is paramount.

Michael Pau

Varying between hi power, colt detective special, or walther PP, got a swisstool spirit, and tiny red swiss knife to have toothpick and tweezers. Need fanny pack for more doodads and a flashlight, I keep forgetting :(

Mike

7 if I'm going to work, 2 anywhere else. Metal detectors mean gun and big knife stay in the car at work, but 3" knife, two good AAA flashlights, Skeletool, plus tourniquet, pressure bandage, and a modern wound dressing. Pepper spray handy but not on body. Off work adds P365, upgrades one light to a full size surefire, and 3.5 to 4" knife. Extra mag ~ half the time.

Pickles_45

San Francisco CA reporting in here with my shiny new CCW license for my M&P Shield!

Moe Mansour

My actual EDC that I actually have on me for that the past two years: Spyderco Endela, Sog Powerpint, Lumintop tool AA 2.0 and Casio Protrek PRG-330. Additionally, I have a AAA light and 3" widgy bar on my keys. If I lived in the U.S. and could carry whatever I'd be option 2.

hoplite ⚔️

Canadian EDC where carrying pistols and tasers is prohibited. 3.5”ish folder Leatherman Squirt Good flashlight Sheffield depending on activity Pen, Sharpie, note paper Paper towels or blue towels Headphones I like having the larger folder for more serious tasks and 2nd cool. The mini blade on the Squirt is good for sheeple when I have to cut a thread at a coffee shop or open a package in a store. The LDMT takes care of 80+% of the daily tasks. I find it especially useful for fixing the kid’s toys around the house. I keep a Leatherman Charge in the fanny pack as well as whole bunch of other gear as support when things get more serious than the Squirt can handle. Love that TNP has made me develop and refine an EDC system that works for me.

Patrick Brichta

Does a TNP series swiss army knife count as a MT?

Matt P

G45 w, rmr and tlr7, and magpul 21 rd backup, esee izula skeletool, olight baton 1cel old. Gerber dime.75% of the time I also have a Sling bag with cel phone power bank , tq and ifak, dude wipes, basic first aid, ear buds etc. This gets carried if I'm in a bigger city running errands etc.

Aquanaut

Typically I'm carrying my phone, R10 Olight, small folder knife, wallet and a comb in my pockets.

Jacob Hurst

Only cause I carry a G19 so no 17 rnds but with a 17 rnd spare 🤷🏻‍♂️

Moe Mansour

I do the same thing around sheeple, use the MT blade or scissors if I can.

Cyborg009

I usually do 2 or 6, 4 on occasion. I sometimes carry a J-frame as the quick access pocket gun in addition to a semi-auto.

Matthew Sinn

I picked 2 because I think my EDC qualifies even though I'm a bit light on the pistol. Ruger LCP Max in tan (flush mag 10 rds) front right pocket carry in DeSantis holster Extended spare mag (12 rds) in the left pocket Honey Badger knife (large version in blue) Leatherman Juice CS2 in blue Olight S2R Baton in black Sheffield folding utility knife Fisher Space Pen Armourlite watch AirPods Burt's Bees chapstick Cell phone Wallet Keys If I go with lighter clothing I might pare it down a bit - smaller Honey Badger version, leave the MT behind - but otherwise it doesn't change. I have a P365 and spare mag that I could go with but the LCP Max is just soooo hecking light and small it's too convenient not to choose. I got away from IWB carry in favor of pocket carry years ago, again due to the convenience and comfortability. Every day, everywhere, no exceptions.

kenneth davenport

I used to have a standard EDC option, (gun, knife, light) would always be the same, but now i enjoy a variety.

Revelation1

I’m a blend of 1,2 & 3… 365 Macro with 17 rounds, no spare mag (unless on church security or high threat situation) 4” to 3” EDC knife (I’m no knife fighter) always a O-light Baton, no MT I’ve got a EDC backpack at work and all that plus in the truck if needed.

GrizzlyRising

I usually roll with my PSA Dagger, 2 mags, a shoulder holster, a fixed black neck knife, a leather man rebar, a Civivi pocket knife. I carry a mini stream light in the sheath of the rebar. I have a satchel as well. That has a headlamp, ASP, power bank, reading glasses, an ouch boo kit, Tylenol, toothpaste, ear buds, spare USB cables, a pocket King James bible (you never know when you need some inspiration and solace.) A maxpedition edc pouch rides in the satchel and has a Victorinox swiss army knife, a screw driver with various bits, an old bus pass with duck tape wrapped around it, USB thumb drive, and some other things. I need to pair down the bag, because it can get a bit heavy.

David Elkins

None of the above really fits. G45 w extra mag, Para2, mini perun, victorinox cadet, bic lighter, chapstick, iPhone, wallet, tourniquet. I almost never need a pair of pliers or mdmt and when I do it’s out in the truck and also in a go bag. Sometimes I’ll swap the G45 with G43x x2 15 round mags. But the G45 is my typical go to.

Cesar C

# 2 without the 4" blade. P365 running 10 or 12 rnd plus 12 or 15 rnd xtra mag. Sometimes PPQ. Leatherman Signal, Leatherman Style on the keys (scissors!), Safariland ear bud hearing protection on the keys, Spyderco Mannix 2lw, Olight Baton 2, Bic lighter, Field Notes with a bullet Fischer Space pen, Gerber money clip that opens to a utility knife (takes the replacement razor blades), Galaxy watch and Fossil Lattitude watch, and gorilla tape on an old cc style gift card.

DudeDudeDude

#3 except the weapon is often a j frame with a speedloader.

hoplite ⚔️

Thanks for sharing. Nice on the mini Bible.

Jeremy Corrao

3 but I carry a G27. I carry a Leatherman Signal. At least 1000 lumen flashlight. Tactical pen. One wristwatch. Sometimes I carry a paramilitary 2.

Buck_83

2 but no extra mag, no tac blade. Add tq. More of us need to edc a tourniquet

Paul Griech

G26, protech sng pt, Flashlight, Pen, watch, zippo, and a leatherman charge tti or leatherman squirt,

More American

I picked 3 even though I have an extra mag. I do not carry a light. Light, multi tool, tourniquet stay in truck. I work for the State of Hawaii, so I cannot even bring my gun on property but strap it on once in the parking lot.

Clint Raby

#3 + pocket knife, Leatherman style, O light baton 3, trim nail clippers, 4" crescent wrench, chap stick, and small wooden cross, and some kind of watch

Matt Mann USA

Depending on my plans for the day, I'll carry... •Ruger GP100 5" -or- HK P30L •Cold Steel SRK Carbon V and/or Recon 1 •Leatherman Wave •Maratac Titanium XL Peanut lighter •Maglite Solitaire LED on a bead chain necklace •550 Paracord (10 feet in a seasonal color) •Work gloves •Ear Plugs

BadgerTails

Driving into the U town hell hole for work it's the G30 + G41 in a pack with LOTS of mags and the SUB2K G15, happy sticks, FAK. Always at least the Leatherman Skeletool + a ZT. Around the house/property it's a 1911 in .45 + skeletool + ZT or Daggerr. The G21/30/41s using the same mags if necessary is just G perfection.

Mark Horan

Almost # 2 but not quite. P365 with 12 and 10 round mag, Spyderco Delica (that I loose about once a year), Olight Arkfeld, Leatherman Juice, Sheffield razor blade, Deep Blue watch. No tactical blade. I think carrying a pocket 380 for 1-2 years got me comfortable enough to carry the weight of micro 9mm.

Drake Tilson

Be careful with Magpul brand Glock mags. I’ve had several that have had critical failures (typically the follower getting stuck in the magazine box). Highly recommend carrying Glock brand mags for duty/EDC. Off brand mags are great for training however!

Aermotor

2 is closest for me. 43x w/ 2 shield 15rd mags, PM2, S2 juice, Fenix LD30, rape whistle, chap stick.

Matt P

Mags are all well vetted. I can appreciate your experience. I've had bad luck with shield arms. I've been running magpuls for a few years now 21, 15s, and g26 12 rd. Zero issues.

Matt P

Also the mag in the gun is an oem 17 rd. Like I said everything I'm carrying is vetted well. We're your follower issues specific?certain mag, ammo etc.

SigCrash

Close to 2 365 with no spare mag (no excuseto not rock a spare mag other than SAWC), k390 spyderco police, warrior mini 2, juice s2 in orange. Do I get extra points for it being an in office and night school day with a kizer mini harpoon, nutnfancy level 1 first aid kit, and an ifak in my backpack with me?

Mobius

5 Leatherman micro on QD Keychain, Olight baton s2r II. Those 2 represent my true Everyday. Outing dependant I will sub in a SOG aegis (original) or civivi imperium. I usually go out in athletic shorts summer and the SAW restrictions that come with that high comfort level minimizes my pocket load to about 2 pockets with about 8oz of load per pocket before they start to sag badly. Phone and wallet eats half of that.

Rick Grad

Glock 23 or Sig 229 40 1 extra mag. PM2 or MT Socom for folder in pocket. OLight warrior. Multitool. Gloves. Foam earplugs, super small first aid kit. Individual Hand sanitizer wipes. Tactical blue shop towel. 3-4 hair ties. I have young kids, so we go to the park a lot. Everything is in an on body bag. I can’t risk accidentally printing my gun around West Coast, big city parents. Mostly use the pocket knife to cut snacks or open things for kids. shop towels, hand sanitizer wipes and sometimes the hair ties. Often the first aid kit for other people’s kids.

Frank Plissken

>M11a1 15+1 127 gr Ranger in CT Mtac. 2× 15 round mags. >Blueforce hybrid belt. >Cold steel Luzon L >Fenix UC35 and acebeam pokelit AA >Leatherman mut. >Husky folding utility knife >Bic I'll sometimes add stuff, maybe a couple more mags or a kahr bug if I go into the big city, but that isn't all that often.

TechNeck

no lip balm but 99% of the time a mid sized folding knife. never a pistol... canada is lame

Aw Fisk

From a 6 shot 380 to 15 shot 9mm to 13 round .40 usually with backup magazine depending upon my destination. Extra magazine except for the 380 pocket pistol. The larger handguns have light/laser module. Pepper Spray, Space pen stylus, SAK with eyeglasses screwdriver and tooth pick replaced by ferorod, OLight Raider flashlight, nail tool, SOG powerpint mini multi tool with additional Allen key, P1 hex bit, magnet , my key chain has handcuff key and mini pry bar, fresnel lens in wallet. Cell phone which is my secondary light and back up cash carrier. IFAK and eyeglass cleaner pads.

Daniel Defoe

#6 - I live in rural KY horse country and work from home. A Kimber K6S, just concealed enough, is comfortable and keeps the local idiots honest. I use my Leatherman Signal pretty much hourly, Bark River Fox River and Tusk in a double sheath when needed and sometimes carry a Case Russlock. At one point I carried a flashlight for three years and used it precisely ZERO times. Haven't bothered since, just don't have a need for one on my person - I have those at my desk, by the back door, in my truck or in bags. I find that a walnut and stainless revolver and walnut-gripped fixed blades bypass scrutiny even from the anti-self-defense Karens. I can get those into places that a semi-auto and folder will get rejected at the door. If I'm going into a city (Lexington, Louisville, Knoxville) or traveling, I add a Maxpedition with a full size pistol, extra mags, larger blade, flashlight. If I'm going somewhere like Cincinnati, Nashville, Memphis... I have the bag and up-gun from the revolver to a full-size and extra mags on-person. Those places are WROL as far as I'm concerned, and have been for years.

Eschebone

2 for me. G48 with extra mag, some 3.5-4" folder (make/model changes frequently), my beloved old Leatherman Juice S2, and a Streamlight Macrostream at bare minimum every time I walk out the door.

Younggun995

P320c rx, war poet folding karambit, skeletool, SAK, thrunight flashlight

Alex H

Pistol pocket knife sometimes a MT sometimes not. And flashlight depends on time of the year

Ryan Reese

Im going to have to call BS on that 46% percent that have clicked #2. I’ve only seen 1 TNP gear check video that shows a guy with a spare mag. Plus a 4” blade all times… very rarely does a guy have that on him. Hope this makes them step up their EDC game. 😏 Come on TNPer’s have a little more integrity.

John S

I'm in-between 2 and 3. My daily carry is as follows: Pistol – M&P Shield Plus w/ Holosun EPS Carry and TLR 6 No extra mag Knife – SpyderCo Delica 3 MT – Gerber Dime Light – O-light Batton 3 Pro

Paul Kwiatkowski

I feel stupid having to choose#5 “No gun at all and lip balm.” Dammit Maryland.

Dan

Probably closest to #4 Either LCP max or G48 Bugout or sage Olight arkfeld or warrior 3 AirPods iPhone

JEFF_WATCH

Almost #2 , P365xl. xtra mag, Benchmade bugout, flashlight, pepper spray, medical, NO MT

Garrett Dismukes

Probably #4 as well Ruger LCP 2 .380 Leatherman Wave 3.5” combat blade Olight baton 2 or ie3eos Lighter with needle and duck tape wrapped Keys and lighted by olight keychain light Fisher space pen Bandanna Wallet iPhone Chapstick

Jacob Danger

I’m #3 at the least. I carry a sling bag that puts me well into #2 along with a small ifak plus booboo kit and other useful items I use daily

Jonny Sprague

#2 95% of the time. I have been carrying a G17 with the spare mag but no backup pistol this week. Too much weight for working with the second pistol.

Tom Small

#3 w/ MDMT, w/ xlnt Flashlight, w/ lighter

Cody Snell

Glock 43, no spare mag, tactician flashlight, crossbones knife, money clip with at least $300 cash, phone, truck key fob. I’m never far from my truck that has anything else I could possibly need. The idea is I can fight to my truck/rifle and wage war from there.

Racing Psychosis

I'm not even on that list if this is just on my person, its like 2.5. Compact 9mm pistol w/ xtra mag - Hellcat, 3.5" EDC blade or fixed blade, pocket knife, keychain knife, capsule with a $50 bill, Streamlight fashlight, Nitecore Tube light, Tiny MT; wallet with bandaids, USCCA contacts, CCW, confined space entry reference cards (you know typical civil engineer bs)etc. All pockets on my person, no fanny ever.

Thatdudeluke

Unfortunately for 10-12 hours a day I’m at a job that has me going in and out of security checkpoints so when I’m at work I can’t carry my pf9, but I still try to get away with a tactical edc knife and my Swiss Army knife, sometimes I have to leave them with guards other times they aren’t that thorough, but it’s a 50/50 gamble I don’t want to go to jail over with getting caught with a gun

Firemedic Mike

Don't forget about a watch rotation!

MT

William Young

I roll with an lcp max, extra 12 rnd mag, a ravencrest tactical otf, a leatherman skeletool and a streamlight microstream. That’s on body. I also keep a backpack in my truck with a g19, around 100 rnds in mags, a trauma kit, ppe, a 5.11 belt and holster, 4 bottles of water, battery bank for my phone w/cable, baofeng uv5r and tp. Same kit in my saddle box but g26, and less mags and only 2 bottles of water.

J Ram

I now have a new Defcon table, thanks Colonel!

Greg Malcom

Gear shaming complete. I'm only a 4. I suck. 😔 (Fun poll!)

ToddDavey

I ALWAYS carry a package of Z fold Combat Gauze. A TQ is a pain carry on body but the gauze fits in a pocket.

Piotr Fraczek

I wish the poll could be check boxes instead of radio buttons.

Joshua Pulliam

I’m a solid #2. Glock 26 with 12 rd mag plus 19 rd reload. Modded with XS night sights and Streamlight WML. Olight i3e eos and Baton 3 Pro. Benchmade Bailout, Spyderco Dragonfly Salt and Cold Steel Counter Tac II. Leatherman Wave. Casio Protrek PRG-600. Plus get home bag in the truck with 2 more mags, extra lights, knives, multitool, IFAK, first aid kit, protein bars, water filtration system and collapsible water bottle and more. That’s what I carry most days to work and is what’s on me today. I don’t always carry the same blade, but it’s usually a PM2, the Bailout or a Microtech.

David G

I need a 2.5 scenario. I usually have everything in scenario 2 with me, but not always on body. The bulk of items, spare lights (2), 3rd mag, tactical blade, MT, med kit, etc. etc. usually ride in my pack. Back not fanny. I refuse to wear one, even if Nut’n makes it look cool.

MCatl

#3 except I'm done with the skinny 9mm concept. I carry a full-size pistol since I can dress accordingly. Found long ago the holster, not the gun, generally determines concealability and comfort.

Matt Scott

I’m a 2 without a spare mag. I’ve struggled to find a good way to keep a spare on my body. I find the gun to be comfortable but the spare mag to be irritating.

Seeker Keyl

I am at least a four everyday, depending on where I am. That LCP max is just so handy and it'll get the job done with the right load I think.

STLParkRanger13 (IG: Sharpshooterjon)

1. I carry a Glock G20 with a Streamlight 7A IWB, a spare mag in a carrier in my front left pocket, I occasionally carry a backup J-Frame AIWB. I switch between a Boker Kalash XL (yes the TNP version) or a Cold Steel Ti-Lite 4" for a knife. I also carry a Streamlight NightFighter LED (old school) IWB. I don't generally carry a SAK or multi tool, my need for them off duty is too infrequent.

Buck Padooka Intel

I’m a solid 2. Glock 43x with shield mag +1 extra mag. I have a fixed blade in my pack and a folder in my pocket. Also a small tactical flashlight, and 2 tourniquets (in my backpack/fanny pack).

Andrettski

These EDC polls always bring the hits. I'm a bit ashamed by reading most of these comments.

Glenn Rawson

I'm somewhere between 2 and 3. I need to be better!

Andrettski

80% of the time I CCW a 9, a .45 or a .357, just depends. Always an EDC knife, rarely a fixed tactical. Always an Olight(usually Baton II, but add my Mini Marauder when I take walks in the dark) Some auto watch. I still haven't finished my BO backpack. I fail.

William H

Suburban lawyer minimalist: I throw everything into a two banger when I leave and then pick and choose depending on time, weather, clothing, mission. On my person G19, g43x, lcp2 depending on weather/clothing, 1 extra mag depending on if I’m wearing the spiffy 5.11 jeans with mag pockets, juice or cadet on car keys, olight almost never on my person unless it’s night, spyderco or rat in the bag, I almost never carry a blade on my person. Medkit in the two banger.

Willie Everett

I'm like a 1.5 usually. G19, honey badger folder, wave, 2 additional knives, Olight I3t, Rats TQ, screwdriver, sharpie and pen.

Racing Psychosis

Mag pockets are huge plus. 5.11's, Vertex, and LA Police Gear jeans.

Racing Psychosis

I run two bags in my truck, a sling bag with a G19 and mags and additional EDC gear, then a get home backpack, with more stuff. I'll switch out the Hellcat for a G19 often depending upon what and where I am.

Racing Psychosis

Have you tried Pants/jeans with a mag pocket like 5.11s, Vertex, LAPG's or a mag carrier like NSR Tactical's Yeager Pocket Mag Carrier?

Edward Hull

There should be other option on the poll. Pistol, less lethal, knife, light, and basic trauma medical are the required items on person for EDC in ROL. Extra should be in your vehicle which is your primary exfil option.

“Milk Man” Matt Moore

2.5 for me. I legit consistently carry a compact or semi-compact pistol (depends on the season/attire/mood which one), always have an extra mag, and a pocket knife. I most often don’t have a flashlight or multi tool on me. My most often carry blade is a Boker Air Kwaiken (thin, long, and elegant…”gentleman’s carry”). Not sure if that meets Nutn’s definition of an EDC blade but it’s a great fidgeter & Amazon box opener. Come at me bro!

UncutDan

I am a 2.5. I always have a compact pistol on me, no spare mag or MT, but also always a very bright flashlight. Can't shoot what you can't see, and its a big threat deterrent itself. And of course, always a blade.

“Milk Man” Matt Moore

Interesting. I always have a spare mag but don’t carry a dedicated flashlight or multi tool. I use a SNAGMAG (made by 1791 Gunleather) to help with that extra mag. It goes in your pocket and has a clip to help keep it in place. Check it out.

Ol Retired Fed

More = Pocket booboo med kit, small Saber Red spray, and a Bic lighter.

Joshua Pulliam

I’ve considered running a vertx sling bag with an armor insert and more mags along with the backpack. Some of the sling bags double as a “plate carrier”. I like the idea of having armor with me at all times. At least in the truck. I’m picking up my PSA Dagger Compact today. Once I’ve vetted it and gotten a holster for it I’m going to start carrying it instead of the G26.

Racing Psychosis

I've been using a sling bag without any armor capability. Your job, I could understand having the armor in the truck. I did recently picked up a cool cheap sling bag from Midway USA, their AR-15 Bail Out range bag, look forward to using a bit to see if it holds up. Its a cool little bag, granted no armor but does have a velcro panel in the bag that you could velcro in a hybid holster like a cross breed, with rifle mag pouches. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/939579089?pid=437025

BadgerTails

SIDEBAR: for those of us who commute to/from the blue cities of death for works, we need another video series.

Matthew Mansell

Modified 2. Daily is a G19 w/ x300u, 22rd spare mag, no fixed tactical knife but MDMT (leatherman charge tti) and my milwaukee fastback utility knife, surefire edcl1-t light. 50% of time backpack is within reach which has more utility stuff, tools, and medical. I do need to find a better way to get some immediate medical as part of my EDC.

Schmuckatelli

Sometimes #2, sometimes #4… The firearm I carry depends on the weather and what type of clothes I’m wearing. In the summer when I’m wearing shorts, I’m carrying an LCP II (.380) usually with no extra mags. In the winter when I’m wearing layers, I’ll have my Glock 43 in a shoulder rig and two extra Shield Arms 15-rnd mags. On rare occasions (if I know I’m going to be in a sketchy situation) I’ll have the Glock in a shoulder rig while I have the LCP II in an ankle holster. The rest of my EDC load-out stays the same: Benchmade Bugout, Victorinox Cadet, Leatherman Juice S2, Streamlight Macrostream.

The Late Boy Scout

I always have a knife, a light, a Leatherman Squirt, and a few other things. For the gun, I typically I choose 1 of 3 options depending on the situation, but I always carry extra ammo. 1. Ruger LCP II .380 for going to the store, & daily stuff. 2. S&W 642 .38 spl for date night and longer outings. 3. NAA .22 Mag for walks, short hikes, etc. I feel comfortable and competent with all three, so I don't often branch out. However, I will sometimes go to my M&P Shield 9 or Shield .45 when it fits the situation and makes sense.

Joshua Mount

Always have a EDC blade and rotate them out, Always have a Compact pistol which I have a myriad of but my favorites are S&W model 60 or Airweight, Glock 48 or 43, P365, Ruger LCP max. Always have a multi tool and it's situation dependent. Usually it's victorinox hiker or farmer paired with knipex cobra pliers. Minimalist wallet with cards and bandaids. In fall or winter I'll usually have a flashlight, sometimes have spare ammo. Usually near a backpack with a ton of crap in it and my trucks got a ton of crap in it.

Spectre77

G17 17rd and 27rd spare mags g43 with 12rd spare for backup/handoff to someone

david rockwell

Voted for #1 as honest response; everyday when not at work (work has shell game carry). Also include trauma medical loadout in 5.11 Strkye cargo pockets and second flashlight. In darks times, your best friend will be a sharp knife.

Kyle Reese

G43X, benchmade mini bugout, olight warrior mini. Sometimes will throw S&W 642 in my pocket. Kershaw cinder on my key ring.

Paul Cabbie

Springfield XDS, spare mag, leatherman Skeletool, Streamlite Wedge light, ankle IFAK (CAT7 & RATS tourniquet, chest seals, QuickClot, nasal pharyngeal)

Ben Wagner

I voted 3 because it’s closest. I carry an excellent flashlight, no MT, and a tourniquet and IFAK, everyday.

SMS7.62

I voted 1 but was more in line with an option between 1 and 2.

Alex Scott

Glock 43x with a spare mag, Benchmade bugout mini, streamlight macrostream, gerber dime, and pom pepper spray. Sometimes carry a S&W 442 or a shield plus 30SC

Timothy Mayfield

I voted 3, but maybe 2 was closer. A S&W Equalizer with a spare mag, an Olight i3OS, a P38 can opener, a Leatherman Squirt, and Brewzer on my keyring, a variety of EDC knives, and an Olight M1T Raider. And my phone and waller.

Sean Durso II

Number 2 was closest for me. I carry a P320 X-compact mostly, sometimes a 365XL, extra mag when I feel like it's HPAC. Tactical knife, EDC blade, backup EDC blade, Swiss army knife, and an Olight Baton 2 or Fenix E35. And always a bad ass watch!

Brian Driver

The honest truth is that I work on a military base where firearms are not permitted and random searches are authorized. So, I carry a knife, flashlight, multi tool, and pepper spray in my vehicle. Weekends and other off days, allow for a higher degree of self defense

Tim Bone

I live in Chicago...you definitely need a full-size/compact semi-auto pistol with at least 15 rounds and a spare mag. Pepper spray is a good idea as well as the thugs here attack in packs and may not always be armed. 😡

Josh

Good.

I mostly fall between 2 and 3 in the summer, though I carry a larger gun starting late Setember once it cools a bit and never go without a good light currently an orange Olight Arkfeld. The green laser is fun to tease the cat out daughter rescued. (I didn't tell the wife her broken china tea pitcher came from the cat chasing the dot...oops)

My wife would somewhat joke with me saying that I need a "batman utility belt", then interesting times dropped here in Illinois and the SAFE-T Act was initiated. This pretty much released a LOT of inmates from jail and, on top of that, removed the "need" for cash bail. It's sad, but now she actually asks "you wearing it all?" 1) Glock 19 (Primarily) with spare mag 2) Defensive blade (rotation based - right now Spyderco Resilience with ziptie mod) 3) lights - I carry two - Olight i5T as well as either a Warrior Mini 2 or Warrior 4) Multitool - Gerber Dime 5) Secondary / EDC blades - two in either back pocket (rotation based - right now Benchmade Bugout and Kershaw Leek) 6) Medical - fully stocked ankle medical kit from Warrior Poet Society 7) Secondary firearm - this is a rarity but is sometimes worn, primarily to Church or Church functions. We've had a few incidents at my church these past few weeks. When the secondary is warn, it is a Glock 43 in an Alien Gear Ankle rig. Now, I am not fully a fan of Alien Gear, however, their ankle rig is actually pretty sweet. Maybe its a touch on the "to much" side, but I want to make sure that I know I can keep myself, my family, and those around me safe and protected.

Your secret about the china tea pitcher is safe with us, Rusty!

Matthew Sinn

Man I fled MN Jan 2020. Get out while you can. You can’t protect yourself and your family against a mob… or a rogue prosecutor who doesn’t look kindly on your self defense.

TireManTim

Number five is the closest, I carry medium blades like the Honey badger. Also medium sized SAK like Tinker or Fishermen, and small flashlights.

Rogue Weasely

Closest to me is 4. on body... Lately it's been a lcp 380/s&w j frame, no spare mag/loader, POM pepper spray, leatherman charge g10 in sv30, victorinox cadet, rovyvon 600 lumen light, small medical pouch with a tq/quikclot gauze and gloves, phone. My wallet organizer also has a small pen/baby sharpie. I've been in love with pocket guns lately... It's been a 2nd cool more than a comfort thing. (I think little guns are super cool for some reason...) If you asked my family, they'd say my carry percentage is 99% :) Some days if I am really out and about/out at night, It's a p365xl with a tlr6 and a spare 15 rnder. The rest stays typically stays the same.

Believe me, both myself and my wife would love to. We sat down and talked about it numerous times but with how IL is right now and with this law, we couldn't because of my parents. The crap from Chicago is coming down this way and I would feel terrible having to drive hours to help them recover if something happened to the farm. But believe me, the thought of leaving IL is always constant, but sadly just not feasible at this time. I'm glad that you were able to escape MN - I have family up in Hibbing area and I've heard some stories...

Nate Berglund

Number 2 is closest. Typically Glock 19 but no extra mag on body except when I'm at church or other HPAC locations. Spyderco Endela, Victorinox cadet, Leatherman Rebar, Bic lighter and Streamlight microstream or 18650 flashlight.

Mat

Flashlight is very season specific tbh. I do carry one - albeit a small one - during the fall/winter but not during spring/summer. I understand the argument for not just counting on your phone, but I mean I do always have it.

Richard Leonard

#2. S&W 40 Shield, 4" barrel. Streamlight, Microstream light & CKRT M16-01KS pocket knife. No MT. Plus a extra mag, the Shield 40 only holds 7 rds.

Jason Coombs

I have tried, busy just can't do the back up pistol on the regular. It is too much bulk.

Chris Cripe

Ruger lcp or Glock 42 or occasionally Glock 43 one spare mag. Spyderco stretch xl, Streamlight macrostream, US GOV prybar niteize pen Leatherman squirt and olight eos1r on keychain and a Victorinox pioneer x or Huntsman.

David Englehart

Outside, typically: Glock 26 + extra 12rd mag, tactical/ EDC blade, 2 pocket knives, HDMT, O-Light Warrior Mini, O-Light i1r2 eos, O-Light i3e eos, lighter, level 1 IFAK, Schrade SCPen4. Inside, typically: Glock 42, EDC blade, pocket knife, O-Light i5T eos I can be caught outside every once in a while with my inside system... but I find that this is absolutely the best way to always have the minimum on me. If gearing up to run out somewhere close becomes a hassle, it is really easy to brush it off... and the one time you do could be the one time you actually need it. I ALWAYS have a gun, knife, & light on me. I do vary the firearm and main blade pretty often but the other items always stay the same.

ThePewLifeChoseMe

EDC, notvat work: P365XL with spare 15rd mag (for 28rds total), SOG knife, CD Chicro light, sharpie, and phone-wallet-keys

I 100% carry everyday. It has only been possible because of Nutnfancy. I currently use the 5.11 daily push pack ever since his review of that bag came out. I used to carry via shoulder holster and fanny pack but now just the 5.11. The gun I carry varies but it is usually a full size GTW handgun. Which could be a G17, G34, G20, G40, PPQ, Q5, PDP, P226, P220 (10mm), P-09, or a variety of S&W .357 Magnum or .44 Magnum revolvers. Currently I am carrying the Sig P320 XTen. I always have 2 extra magazines. I also have in my bag all the Nutnfancy recommended gear. 2 flashlights, S2 Juice, Cadet, Spyderco Endura, a Benchmade switch blade, Sog Field knife, rape whistle. The only other stuff I have is my bose head phones and chargers.

Andrew Koch

Daily carry for me is appendix carrying Glock 26 in a Vedder Light Tuck IWB holster, no extra mags, a Streamlight microstream flashlight, Kershaw Leek, a Gerber Dime, and a pen. I can easily hide all these items on my body and never feel undergunned with the Glock 26. I was glad to see the IISA episode on that gun.

Nathan Simms aka Darkpriest

MY EDC is a SIG P365 W red dot, extra mag, one of 15 Nutnfancy special edition knives from the Dragonfly all the way up to the boker ak74, a flashlight (lumintop aa) A leatherman juice CS4 and earbuds (hearing protection) I carry that on me all the time. My car is a total other thing that would take 3 paragraphs.

Jose Wenceslao Reyes

Outside of work I carry a Sig P365 XL, Spare 17 round mag. I Carry a Gerber Folding Knife (Forget the model), Cold Steel Mini Bowie, Olight Baton 3 pro. I have not found a true multi tool I like yet. I have a Gerber keychain multi tool that I use slot. At the office I carry a Ruger LCR .38 Special with two Zeta 6 speed loader strips. The revolver I find hides better with dress casual clothes. I carry the same knives but switch the light to a Thrunite Archer mini (great little light). I'm looking for a multi tool that I like. Coming up here in the Fall/Winter I switch to Old faithful the Glock 19 for outside of work and will work in the 365 to office due to heavier clothing. I have others I carry but these ones account for about 85-95%. Since I have to carry a backpack for my work computer I also add in additional pens and notepads and an "ouchie kit" with a couple of med kit items. My backpack is a Bulldog Tactical level 3A (I believe) body armour pack. This has been the most recent. I am getting better at carrying more daily things but am messing around with options.

Can't carry at work, but I keep a S&W 6946 in the truck with 3 mags. First aid kit in the truck as well. Work is usually a Kershaw Blur (biggest folding knife I own) small flashlight (Coast G22 or Streamlight Micro) and a Leatherman Juice. Outside work lately it's been the Ruger LCP II in .22lr (I know i know...), or Kahr CM9. Sometimes pepper spray,. EDC knife, light duty MT, small flashlight, little keychain pen and backup keychain knife, some bandaids in the wallet. I'm impressed how many of you guys bring the extra mag. Good stuff

TechNeck

Usualy have a folder pocket knife (leatherman k4 free at work, or a freebee advertiement knife depanding) bic lighter. Have a etac E2 and leatherman juice on the keychain.

Hunter Moronie

Canik TP9SF or PSA dagger full size, 2 mags round mags, olight warrior S3, Ontario rat 1 vipertek hinge cuffs, and small IFAk with olight SR2 baton, 2 vented chest seals, an everstop bandage, pressure bandage, decomp needle. I have a grippy belt for open carry and it's on me 100% of the time, I work from home/as a contractor to achieve this. The LAPD gear Backpack has a sub2k w/olight PL-pro valkrie and 1lb polyethylene IIIA plates in an AC1 with TQ/shears, and 3x 27 round pmags.(recently got the dagger full size for mag commonality.) Even got a 3 liter bladder stowed inside. This has been excellent and still allows me to carry jackets, large trauma bag, MREs, camera equipment and my laptop for work related activities. I can swap my pc insert for a chest rig and run either 4 AK mags or 8 stanags for AR as well.

Logan Holmberg

I'd seriously consider a handgun if they where legal in Canada. The only way to carry one is with a security license or register as a commercial hunter/trapper and then you can only carry it in the bush. Although that option will disappear soon because you are pretty much no longer able to purchase handguns period in Canada. I do carry a 3 oz or lighter folding knife, a multitool, 2 flashlights, and a triple-sensor casio watch. If I have my messenger bag with me I will carry extra items or heavier versions of my on body carry.

fidelity

EDC: G26 w/ 12 round magazine + TLR6 + trijicon sights. Benchmade griptilian, small can of pepper gel, pen pilot G-2 07, Fenix E12 on my keychain, and an Olight Warrior 3s when I suspect I will be returning home after dusk.

Vladimir

G 19, 1xtr mag, olight s2r baton 2, honey badger medium blade, sometimes a lighter, wallet, phone, i have been considering carrying an ankle ifak but eh.
